you don't necessarily have to learn the language, but it's with it if you at least learn some basic phrases

accent is always important!! try and study the accent of the country and imitate it

pause in your sentences as if you're trying to remember what the word in English is

say "ahhh" or "erm" often, as if English is a second language so you struggle speaking it

mix up or skip out on words occasionally (example: instead of saying "I went running in the park last night" you could say "ahh last night I went in the park, running!")
