Oh wow, long time later, we have MORE progression! (Again!)
This one is in the pipeline for AGES. Only remembered to upload it today. Anyways, since starting the draft for this chapter, I tried to flesh out the battles even further, so the battle you see here is a relic of early-mid 2024.
And yeah, this is a relatively long one, but only because the battle itself is long. I would say it resembles you going into a battle, not knowing that you are severely underpowered until you grind for *THAT* one thing to make it somewhat bearable. Do not worry - I will put further battles on hold until the crew got a substantial power boost to make battles short.
Since this is uploaded on Halloween day... have an extra little snippet.

Synopsis: Finally, the crew got into the tower! What awaits them would be uncanny, though...
[OT] Ugh. I am still missing Dasli in my Battle Cats collab in ToS. And I am running out of time to grind. End my suffering. [OT ends here]
Didn't liked some part of the previous chapter. Made a quick fix to that. Also, before you ask, yes, the basic cat from Battle Cat made an appearance. The reason behind that is up to your interpretation.
Anyways, if you couldn't tell, the main plot of this arc would be very similar to a retell of the original plot of ToS (which is scaling the tower), except I would make changes on how each combat would play out (I'm still figuring things out, but I'd say I'm getting more grasp on which character does what), who is in the MC's party, and maybe more. More fighting would go on in the next few chapters. Hang on tight!
