A Lesson in Listening to Your Body

I recently started a pretty intense workout regimen, because I’m trying to meet some of my long-term goals, and joining a gym definitely helped. However, I have a go, go, go nature, and because of that, I tend to push myself too hard. Last week I learned that I need to listen to my body the hard way, by having to take a week off from the gym, and leave work early due to illness. 

The lesson here, is to listen to your body, don’t push it or yourself too hard, because you may end up losing progress on any number of your goals.
