Since life is pretty shitty here is some of the only “good” thing I could think of about the coronavirus: • when you have a runny nose, someone always has tissues • when you have a bit of a headache (not actual symptoms just a headache) someone always had paracetamol •you have a lotta bit more time to do some of the things you enjoy/ wanna try out that you haven’t had time for before, this could be as simple as doing some more gardening or taking up knitting.... essentially becoming an old lady • for introverts like me, we have the ultimate excuse not to go out “soz, corona ya know?” •for us awkward folk, people aren’t gonna randomly touch you or go in for an awkward hug anymore •bonus point- this one is for my friend with long hair- old folk aren’t gonna start stroking your hair and touching it anymore

Expectation vs Reality
It just occurred to me that for artists, real life is just one big game of expectation vs reality: Makeup artist- getting the other wing to match Nail artist- getting the other hand to match Drawing/painting artist- THE OTHER EYE

I remember this one time I was in Paris with my school. One day we went to Disneyland and me and my friend decided to go on space mountain, good choice, great ride. But obviously everyone speaks French in Paris but my oblivious western heart figured they’d read out the warnings in English as well. But no. After they read out the warnings and safety measures in French I shouted “Well that’s just great isn’t it, I don’t speak French,” of course I was just trying to make my friend laugh with a very unfunny joke, but then this guy in front of us started laughing. I still don’t know if he also only spoke English or he was French and just learned English....
