I came out at her show. She’s actually the coolest person I’ve ever met. She’s the reason why I started paying attention to my camp. We had a talk - she put me on this big-ass jet. She would take off all year to write her music, get in her zone, meditate, and go through her books, see what’s going on… And she would get one manager, and then would hire a manager to look at that manager, hire a lawyer to watch this lawyer. And everybody’s getting watched - so it’s hard to fuck up [like checks and balances]. And then she would take off one year, not like whole year - but like go… And I’m like, ‘Ohhh that shit makes a lot of sense, cause I’m tired as fuck.’ Since the day I came out, I just been running.
