Top 5 undertale aus?
Oh Lord I didn't see this before!!
1. Rad End by Third/Rule of Thirds, deactivated hopefully will see her again (fresh should totally take over the multi verse)
2. AskDestructiveDeathMare by @mcnotok (@ask-destructivedeathmare ) (Error, Nightmare and Reaper have TWO HANDS!)
3. Underfell, hilarious sometimes and the kind of edgy the fandom needed or didn't need depending on perspective
4. Xtale, Cross is just cool asf
5. Dark Cream au by @zu-is-here
HONORABLE MENTION: I think it was called Mermaidtale by either @zu-is-here or imagayfish (couldn't find the blog in mention, perhaps shadowbanned) or perhaps someone else's au and I am VERY confused (sorry it's been awhile so I forget)

Dearest Error,
Happy one year anniversary! I hope today goes splendidly for you. You don’t know me but I know you. These feelings for you have been stirring for a while. So, I hope this letter makes it to you. You do not need to accept my confession. Feel free to read this and discard it if you wish.
You deserve the best in life. I believe in you. Despite everything that happened in your life, you remain strong and carry on. It is truly impressive. Life throws so much at you yet you power through it. I respect that about you a lot. Wish I could do that as well.
Oh right, this is meant to be a confession letter….
I love you from the bottom of my soul. Even if we are in separate realities. You’ll never meet me outside this paper. Just look up at the night sky. I’ll be the brightest shining star for you, guiding you through the darkness.
Take care Error. I’ll keep on observing you from a distance.
-Your secret admirer.

sometimes i see posts with advice and tips for mental illness and the comments are a lot of “if only i could keep it going” or “i tried once and liked it but couldn’t do it every day so I gave up.” i feel like there’s a pressure to do self care “perfectly” or “correctly” and that if you don’t you’re supposed to give up?
it’s okay if you don’t do the thing every day! i love journaling, but i’ll journal every day for a week and then won’t pick it up for months. that doesn’t mean i don’t still like it the times i do pick it up. just cause i’m not able to do it every day doesn’t mean it’s not helpful!
or like with to do lists- i RARELY actually finish one. i’ll usually get the first two items done and then call it a day. but it’s so nice to have my tasks planned out and not cluttering up my head! even if i don’t accomplish all my goals i’m way less stressed
i’m also terrible about not packing lunches and then skipping meals. that doesn’t mean i should give up trying cause i don’t do it every day! it just means that i should continue to do it when i can, cause some packed lunches are better than none
self care and management isn’t all or nothing. do it at your own pace in a way that works for you. there isn’t one right way to self care. there’s only your right way

therapist: so, how have you been coping with your anxiety lately?
Me, nervously: Well… I’ve been trying to treat myself like a nervous cat…
therapist, stifling a goodnatured laugh: Oh? can you explain that to me?
Me: Well… if you have a nervous cat, the first thing you do is make sure their environment is safe and remove stressors… and you make sure they have enough food and water and places to hide… and you provide some enrichment in case they need to work out energy…
Therapist: And how are you applying that to yourself?
Me: Um. If I feel anxious, I’ll see if I need to back out of any sites or conversations, enforce my boundaries… check my environment for flashing lights or painful noises… make sure I’m hydrated and have eaten… and work on a hobby
Therapist: those are all excellent things! You’re a nervous cat and you need care and kindness!

I found the ultimate ADHD life hack for chores
There’s….There’s no rules, y'all
You don’t have to do… everything at once
You’re in the bathroom for a few minutes? Just put a couple of things away and wipe down the faucet and then leave. You don’t have to clean the WHOLE THING at once
This is both an ADHD life hack AND a disability life hack
SO OFTEN I feel helpless and useless because I can’t do chores. But. What if. I do. SMALL things. I can wipe a countertop down while my coffee brews. I can sweep up just a small area. I can only put away half my clothes.
ANY progress is good. ANY AT ALL!
R e v e l a t i o n
Don’t make fun, my “GET THE WHOLE JOB DONE OR DON’T BOTHER AT ALL” mentality drilled into my brain for years isn’t easy to overcome ;)]

real adult™ tip from a real adult™ with executive dysfunction
do stuff while waiting for other stuff
like that sounds intuitive and vague but so much of the day is spent in a period of wait and if you struggle to motivate yourself to do things then this is the best time
waiting for your water to boil? bag up your garbage. waiting for your coffee to drip? wipe down your counters. roommate taking up the bathroom? scoop the cat box. waiting for your food to cook in the microwave? do however many dishes you can while it’s in there.
waiting is the perfect time to do a limited amount of something for yourself where you would be otherwise just standing around doing fuck-all

RUN THE DISHWASHER TWICE.
When I was at one of my lowest (mental) points in life, I couldn’t get out of bed some days. I had no energy or motivation and was barely getting by.
I had therapy once per week, and on this particular week I didn’t have much to ‘bring’ to the session. He asked how my week was and I really had nothing to say.
“What are you struggling with?” he asked.
I gestured around me and said “I dunno man. Life.”
Not satisfied with my answer, he said “No, what exactly are you worried about right now? What feels overwhelming? When you go home after this session, what issue will be staring at you?”
I knew the answer, but it was so ridiculous that I didn’t want to say it.
I wanted to have something more substantial.
Something more profound.
But I didn’t.
So I told him, “Honestly? The dishes. It’s stupid, I know, but the more I look at them the more I CAN’T do them because I’ll have to scrub them before I put them in the dishwasher, because the dishwasher sucks, and I just can’t stand and scrub the dishes.”
I felt like an idiot even saying it.
What kind of grown ass woman is undone by a stack of dishes? There are people out there with *actual* problems, and I’m whining to my therapist about dishes?
But my therapist nodded in understanding and then said:
“RUN THE DISHWASHER TWICE.”
I began to tell him that you’re not supposed to, but he stopped me.
“Why the hell aren’t you supposed to? If you don’t want to scrub the dishes and your dishwasher sucks, run it twice. Run it three times, who cares?! Rules do not exist, so stop giving yourself rules.”
It blew my mind in a way that I don’t think I can properly express.
That day, I went home and tossed my smelly dishes haphazardly into the dishwasher and ran it three times.
I felt like I had conquered a dragon.
The next day, I took a shower lying down.
A few days later. I folded my laundry and put them wherever the fuck they fit.
There were no longer arbitrary rules I had to follow, and it gave me the freedom to make accomplishments again.
Now that I’m in a healthier place, I rinse off my dishes and put them in the dishwasher properly. I shower standing up. I sort my laundry.
But at a time when living was a struggle instead of a blessing, I learned an incredibly important lesson:
THERE ARE NO RULES.
RUN THE DISHWASHER TWICE!!!
