I lie awake at night The demons in my mind Eyes too numb to know. Staring at the ceiling Wondering if I should be okay Whatever that means Is it okay not to be okay? That's what everyone keeps saying, I guess I wake up, following my aching heart, trying to numb the pain I try to listen to the voices in my head, but didn't hear the cry for help. There for you, that's what everyone said but no one is, because everyone is playing their own game called life. Isn't that what friends are for but you forgot to be your friend, running back to yourself looking for hope running back to you for love that wouldn't make you selfish. Learning to turn your demons into spineless and weak with no mind of their own and feeding on your memories. Learning to be okay with things that are not in your control and looking out for yourself in the coldest nights of all.

Overthinking, causes us to miss out on a lot of good things. You wish you could be like your friends who just say and do what they want. But you're not. You wish you could be one of those people who are so confident they can walk up and talk to anyone. You wish you were one of those people who would be themselves around people they don't know. But people have to get to know you to see who you actually are. I mean that's not a bad thing but it's kinda hard to let anyone get to know you because you're one of those people who just hold onto a few friends and don't let anyone else in. After all, you are afraid that the moment they get to know you, the moment you feel the happiest, they will walk away from you. Overthinking everything just makes you sad at the end of the day. The thoughts in your head are racing, making you panic, making you feel vulnerable, making you scared. How can someone be bothered with every little thing. For a moment, you feel like you had it till here and can't take it anymore. But suddenly you see a spark, a reason to be alive and full of life. Life will not always go on as you want it to and that's the beauty of it. Overthinking every small details is not going to make it better. But it's easier said than done, I know that for sure. I loved Stefan and Elena together. It was like they were meant to be (until Damon showed up). It was an epic love. But what is an epic love if it's not forever. Okay here people might tell me that forever isn't true in real life but I think it is. Knowing a person for your entire life, falling in love, getting married to that person, having kids together that is forever and that is rare. I hate how Elena broke Stefan's heart because she fell in love with Damon. I don't really blame her because we usually don't know who we might fall for. Talking about Damon and Elena, they were everyone's favourite. They taught us love and how painful it might get when you are that vulnerable and how you find your way back to that one person. They had a very tumultuous back and forth relationship but the love ultimately prevails because they both loved each other with passion that consumes them. After Elena broke Stefan’s heart, he slowly and steady fell madly in love with Caroline. He didn’t even realise that he was in love with her. I don't get why people don't like Stefan and Caroline together. Their relationship had an actual transformation. Maybe their relationship wasn't that strong at first but it grew. From being friends to best friend to lovers to husband and wife. He falls in love with his best friend. It's like a best friend, but more. It's the one person in the world that knows you better than anyone else. It's someone who makes you a better person, actually they don't make you a better person, you do that yourself it's because they inspire you. A soul mate is someone who you carry with you forever. It's the one person who knew you, and accepted you, and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would.
