National Treasure, Kokuho
Just by chance, without covering any information, I got to see by chance. This is a story of a man who entered to kabuki as a female part player chosen by the famous kabuki player where his son, the prince of the kabuki family is there as the same age to him, and also raised as a female part plater. The director is Lee Sang-il, who took some movies with Ken Watanabe.
It's like a Black Swan movie for two boys, one with the blood of the family, another is not. They're jealous to each other, but they like what the other would play. Just the tradition in kabuki stands between them.
Most remarkably, their dance and play in the kabuki theater is simply beautifully taken as the scenes. The cinematograph is by Sofian El Fani of Timbuktu. The attracted feelings by the photographing are just taken by the film as well as the actors preformance on the characters performing the roles of the periodical pieces.
The young actors performed their youths, they are also excellent. One is known from Monster by Hirokazu Koreeda, Soya Kurokawa.
You might feel strange for the traditional singing, dancing or acting, like in opera theater or other traditional plays, but these are the result invented by without any electricity or any machines. So you just simply go into the world there, and get an experience of Kabuki. This is actually good movie just to enjoy some Kabuki theaters I guess. I should have watched previous movies by the director or the cinematographers previously.

Copycat
I've seen it at a movie theater, I knew a musician from his music, but he has an important role here. I got to know these white male serial killers from documentaries since then, still this gets back time by time. Maybe this time of the era, the female professor could be a good target to be attacked by, she might be too smart that makes the male audience unhappy to watch in the beginning, but this is also a good sisterhood movie despite the detective is a bit short through camera. She is a quite physically strong lady, though.
I remember why I picked it up to watch, as I liked The Piano. And it got dizzy that an impressive mute lady is talkative now.

Good drama series to me
those just watching by chance without any recommendations
calmer scripts and not so exaggerated music attached
shorter filming is better
hopefully less quarrels, bullying scenes
no funny lines in job/SF occasion (in junky scripts it often appears)
good music (openings and themes)
Not like in podcast ladies, possibly not interested in love stories, brutal murder cases nor splatting horrors.
Let me raise my favorite series:
My Liberation Notes
Cold Case
Inside Man
Sherlock
Taxi Driver
Recently I check podcasts, but I don't find similar opinions of mine. They seem to have more time to watch and enough time to complete many series and discuss deeply. Maybe I should go back to listening to the music only.

Asura
I've been waited for the masterpiece written by a female Japanese screenwriter, Kuniko Mukoda, and directed by Hirokazu Koreeda who is good at choosing the actress fit to the story. And more obviously he makes better movies that is based on other screenplays, despite the first movie, Nobody Knows. Four sisters living their style, together, conflict and just eat and do some celebrations. Each of the girls carries their own problems and debts, and the rocks on the shoulders are rumbling around. And the world must be very old times, but the issues they argue is simply now you face everyday. I believe the lines are not so changed from the past time, then I wondered what has been improved for us after decades.

I liked it a lot. Happy influencer girl lost her partner, and AI and settings works continuously under internet. The service that the provider offers is a kind of feature soon to be in the cloud sourcing photo album. Once no code programming is on, the world is just near-by. Actually the censorship via cameras are known facts. I like Indian movies as they often describe the future and the social problems.

Heavenly Ever After # 11 & # 12
I am totally disappointed that I am not familiar with Heaven that Koreans imagine. Maybe this is a great myth, but no explanation exists. I know the hierarchy of Hell exists, and somewhat like 3 by 3 patterns for the state, upper existence, human and animals. But this Heaven, animals can be transformed into human despite their will. And it seems the mirror can show your true image, and even seems to go through the time. And the workers at the Center in Heaven, the postman is rather popular work, and the envoy that welcomes and send to the transportation is the higher work. One's imagination can be formed into the human shape. But somehow Christianity enters to the world, the population of them are 1/3 of the nation, the next major religion is Buddhism.
OK, I started with the summarize of the heaven system, because of the balance of the explanations and small (possibly omit or shorter at least) previous too long story to the last episodes were quite not well assigned.
Last two episodes, the reasons why the couple is there, as if to solve the questions like why this kind of actors are taking this thinner roles. Did they know all the stories and started to play? Otherwise the power allocation on roles is not well described.
First of all, the wife is forgettable too much in the beginning and somewhat the actress plays her as simple person, not to think deeper lady but greedy to the money, for living their life. And her husband is too happy to have her, and not so much conversation occurs but the lines are repeated to thank and love her. Pastor and Som-yi were involved to patch the piece of the missing character depths. #11 is about their story, where the regret makes someone tied to their next life as well as the previous lives already. #12 is about the couple finally.
The modern settings including small inventions, story in the end were nice. But I could suggest the dividing episodes and new world of Heaven need more plans in smarter ways. This is a comedy story, and if you're Netflix watcher, you could mix the full nice parts of My Liberation Notes and Heavenly Ever After, that I did to survive between two days to let myself stand up to watch the last episode.
I am sincerely thinking to subscribe to the other platforms and maybe stop watching Netflix, just for watching my favorite actors as they're taken to other rich platforms. Netflix, you find in some ways so-called Netflix actors like Son Suk-ku, so you should plan to all the films of Netflix actor (and producers, directors, writers, staffs) streaming, as you're failed to collect the next season series and almost all of them gets the last season in Netflix. Why do you slip all the chances out from the eggs that originally you made to other platforms?

Heavenly Ever After #10
This time I almost got angry, as almost skipped scenes last time are added for the story in confusing way, and half of the story was made of the repetition, also I found simply the exact performance for the character by Son Sukku is the only remarkable point in the drama.
Som-yi partially gets her memory back. Jung-ho is the kid that appears through their memory. Nak-joon drew the boy's arm and took away from Som-yi. Funny thing is the times that has been shot are several, at least old times and quite recent apartment.
Nak-joon knows Jung-ho, but it's covered, but It is related to the ex-cop. Pastor called Hae-sook as mom, she immediately reveals that she never has kids.
Dogs meet the twin-looking guy to the dean of the center, and got new job, and found the puppy mill guy that Jjamppong was raised.
Hae-sook reports to Nak-joon for Young-ae went back to Earth, and Som-yi reminds Jung-ho is with herself. That seems the right thing, but herself is pointed out by Nak-joon as father and mother as herself. And all of sudden, Nan-joon is shouting to her since then. This broke his all the character balance that has been built in this previous episode. He even sank her in the past memory. The dean and Nak-joon will meet soon that is voiced over.
And we know Nak-joon couldn't walk by his legs immediately after they sent his mother to Heaven, but why this could happen?
My guess is that they were couple, having Jung-ho as his son twice, at least. But when? Human survives at least 50 years.
Som-yi even remembers her kiss with Nak-joon, in the old days. Hae-sook once is told by the narration button that she is kissed by him, his lips got closed to her. So this is the different times. I wonder what is the points get worse, the scripts, the direction? And why here is this turn of the episode? Som-yi remembers Jung-ho replies his mom as Hae-sook. Is Jung-ho sent to the international adoption? And why did Nak-joon keeps silence only on this topic? Nak-joon answers Jung-ho is Hae-sook's and his son. This is a disaster composition, nothing will be connected, for the 2 episodes to go.
Pastor is suggested to join in "Hell Lotto" by Hae-sook, and they anyhow chosen as one of the candidates, simply just like Ready Player One. Hae-sook wins with her cheating and full of lies, where the dean of the center admits her winning, that even she declared Pastor as her son.
Som-yi and Hae-sook's young face never appeared in her memory, so she could be her, but then I don't understand why Nak-joon didn't realized it, or even herself.
Names are common throughout their story, or what?
Next week the all the episodes are over. And I don't watch the deception announcement. But I believe many will get dropped by this episode. I will, if Son Sukku is not there.

Very strong independent woman helps the mother that her child is kidnapped. It's been not so clear why she's living like that for the mother, but they get to closer to solve the problems. I guess US productions for these heroic female stories are tend not to preferable by scoring people of IMDb, but this is a bit different than you might guess before watching. European female detective dramas might be similar, but not that young lady is the cool one. This is the point.

Heavenly Ever After #09
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt36455912/?ref_=tturv_ov_bk
Well, my guess seems right: as it is announced by the episode list that this drama ends next week, decided to summary by episode from this time.
Nak-joon remembers the ex-detective as (that I guess child) slave trade, but he is so young to get escaped from his intrigues, but he is slips himself from his body, so now Som-yi can attack him like an ogre, rather Hariti. Som-yi gets furious as she couldn't listen to Nak-joon any more. He's suspended from his postman work then.
Hae-sook realized their closeness and also something has happened on him. She gets angry but not to talk to her husband explicitly, but she talks to other house mates for her wonders. Nak-joon also only talks to Som-yi on his thoughts, who was there at the scene. They're described as a good couple, but maybe they're not facing sincerely in fact for their whole life.
Young-ae seems to think more on herself, and her past, since her birth father this time, arrived to the heaven after passing the hell.
This episode is a comedy based on Mark 11.24.
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
So somewhat simple thinkers like Hae-sook and two dogs have some ideas, dogs have a new opportunity, maybe Hae-sook will in next episodes.
Young-ae forgives her father finally and is called for the reincarnation, overcomes her severe life with him, after talking to the dean of the center with her father. By the dean, the system of reincarnation, tied fates are explained, the relations on Young-ae, father and Hae-sook. Young-ae talks to Hae-sook possible for the first time in their present life after knowing the fates with her, and disappears and gets back to life after the near death experience of three months.
Pastor realizes his happiness finally by Hae-sook, and Som-yi recalls her son's name, Eun-ho. Pastor is her son, I believe. So then why does pastor call her as mom now?
Han Ji-Min and Lee Jung-eun are very good on performance, but they're not often assigned to simply happy roles, as they're too good for performance. So Lee Jung-eun probably enjoyed her young-looking fashion, as well as Kim Hye-ja, and Han Ji-Min also has some old fashioned hair-style. Lee Jung-eun's simply rare and extremely good performance is the eye-candy of this episode. And also these dogs actors! I have seen them in small roles many places, and they're featured for the first time to my scope.
Another questions is that their times they've been. Hae-sook is 80 years old according to the settings, so if it is running now, so it's more or less around World War II. But past life Young-ae's cloths look like 1910's, apparently before the war. Is the scene now on Earth is somewhat 20 years ago, or what? Is it after the war and they wear still old fancy clothes?
3 episodes to go. This plot is written based on Korean culture, so I found complains by some of the foreign watchers, I hope this show is popular in Korea and they'd explain the subtle points.

The Diplomat
An interesting true story, and all the brochures, or the negotiations. Some part could be a bit dramatized, but this could happen for this situation. Perhaps they fell in love, but when he went back to his place, everything's changed.

Dear Child / Liebes Kind
The girl, mother and grandmother. But grandmother finds her mother isn't her daughter. I liked how the mystery is solved, and the girl is grown up and cured from the trauma. The last days are in the clear sky and warm winds on the grass, shows the hope between them.

The Chestnut Man
Now 2nd season is announced. Two detectives and chestnut man figures at the scenes. They run around, back to the office to discuss and ask the residues to research in the lab. Darker look, but it is rather warmer days shootings than I would expected for the seasons for the chestnuts even in Danmark. The shots of the sky through the leaves and branches are quite impressive. The violence scenes are rather longer, but it is clear why the brutal events repeated in the end.
I found a Swedish actor as an important role, and he acted as the very opposite role in other Swedish drama, an advocate.

Heavenly Ever After #07 & #08
Som-yi wishes to get her memory back and Nak-joon offers to help. The dogs (why only dogs?) tries to cure themselves for their problems given by the previous life, where three dogs attend. The leader knows well, and the youngest Mandu listens the pupils' presentation carefully. Young-ae finds new life in heaven, actually a bit going too far direction. Mandu is notified to get in reincarnation soon.
Hae-sook pushes herself to welcome her husband's mother visit, while she cares her priest of 5-years old boy. He still hides his story behind.
Nak-joon brings Mandu and Som-yi to the earth, and this is a bit funny scene sequence, one is Mandu meets the previous owner of the female solitude dog at the center, then, three of them is together, and Som-yi reminds something about the guy last time she saw again but Nak-joon tells soon the train to heaven comes, and this scene is without Mandu without any explanation.
One day Nak-joon's mother visits and promises her to meet the next day, but she skips. Mandu decided to have a new life, the result is obviously brought by listening to others. Young-ae finds Nak-joon's mother alone in the house and listens her story. Nak-joon found Hae-sook's stubborn attitude, and for the first time he gets angry to her, that is just simply digging his hole and exhales, wailing to her.
Som-yi feels something to Nak-joon, and Hae-sook and Nak-joon can't control their attitude, it continues for a couple of days. Som-yi could be a mother used to be.
Pastor and Hae-sook eat the bread made of rice wine, and he gets just completely drunken by. It's reported to the center, and her husband picks her up and finally the war is over. She tells her secret, the history of her sad life. Finally she gets drunken and she told her story. She decides to visit his mother, and finds her next decision. Pastor finds his happiness with Hae-sook by the briefing of the dean.
Nak-joon knows her mother's decision, so they meet together and takes the lesson. The dean tells the reincarnation makes their souls clean. The sum of the virtue in the each life is the same amount. At the last supper, Son Suk-ku doesn't have lines, but so funny.
Som-yi has dropped her one of the flower rings in the house that Hae-sook found it, and Hae-sook now finds the same one from Nak-joon's trousers.
Nak-joon meets the guy that Somi attacked, and remembers him as an ex-DI, Kan Jeong-gu. So the three of them must be somehow related.
By the way, the actress is supposed to be a good cook, but the younger body double cooks. I guess she is not ought to be, as she earns her living by some other means.

Capitani
Have you ever driven around these area? I really like scenes and the language they're using. It's like Nordic countries, they speak whatever they speak, sometimes they follow the others, sometimes they're not. Military base appears and you might get to know how the small countries' social system works. I have some impression that in countries of Germanic languages more independent girls are there, and not so in French spoken countries/regions, and these are mixing in Benelux countries, so you might feel these sense for Luxembourg production. The second season stands on the city area, whereas the first season is the murder case in the country side. Minimal series and well described stories. I'd like to see these chances of all other world too.

Exterritorial
German strong and beautiful mother, is actually an ex-specialist on combats, in Afghanistan. She visits US Consulate in Frankfurt am Main, together with her son, and he slips out her sight, but maybe that is caused by her flashback breakdowns. She is simply smart and strong and straight to seek around her son, the sequence is quite cool. She gets buddy and needs to know the people is for her or against. Some descriptions on the internet gimmicks are weak, but otherwise it has been quite well-made women sisterhood in the end.

Cold Case
This is a Japanese adaptation of Cold Case in Philly. I liked it, as it is well translated to the Japanese kicks, although I should have watched on time. Already I've seen enough in Korean ones quite similar to this original settings, greatly motivated, and adopted in Science Fiction to European dramas. However, the music was good, as often I hate the funny and loud sound of Asian dramas, calm and little bit orient melodies included. Also the protagonist is good, calm, strong and struggled with her problems. Actually, the time schedule of each scenes is the same, so you simply run and you know where to watch or where you cannot miss it. I enjoyed quite much, as this is kind of the one I am looking for in the subscription dramas. I want to the season 4, and I would love to watch some other adaptations, like Swedish or French, maybe Spanish or Latin countries.
I like this song in the ending scene.
