Initially wanted to draw an energetic pose, but gave up, so this is as energetic as it got. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Been meaning to draw Renamon for ages, so it was about time. And in order to actually finish the drawing I simply colored the sketch instead of spending hours on lineart just to get frustrated over not capturing the sketch's essence and giving it a decade or two in WIP jail.

Don't mind me, just ranting about text files

Windows trying to mess with me, wtf...

I was already peeved due to something else not working, so I decided to use the alternative which included looking something up in a text file. But when I attempted to open a file that I've been using for at least a decade I got a message telling me "Yeah sorry, can't open that. Wanna register for Microsoft Word usage because it's a Word file?"

First of all, it is not! Never has been. I created it in my ancient version of Microsoft Works many moons ago and I've been opening it with that ever since.

Did the latest Windows update include that "feature"? Don't lecture me about my files' origins when I forged their contents with these very hands! My wrathful revenge shall be legendary! *softly right-clicks to tell the file to open in Microsoft Works* LEGENDARY!

(Honestly I'm just glad that solved it, but man was I caught between wrath, panic and confusion for a few minutes.)

Started the WIP book with Pokemon so of course I'm ending it with Pokemon.That was definitely planned from the very beginning to frame everything neatly and didn't just happen because Pokemon are in my comfort zone and usually not that stressful to draw. >.>

"Oh, an animal quest, I'll do that right away!" *1 minute later* "Drop everything, I need to take photos of my newly acquired grandson!"

The lighting was so perfect, we had to take a couple of minutes for a photo shoot. Even the little guy's fur color fits the leaves, this was clearly a trap meant to consume my time. Sometimes I zoomed in too far and the little one disappeared so Ororon was feeding the air. OTL

I keep wondering how people finish their quests so quickly, but then I remember half the time I spend on quests usually goes into camera time.

He ended up looking younger than I intended, but I still ended up liking the result.

Forgot a line on the lily pad so the perspective is messed up. So when I looked at it earlier today after months I got really confused. "What is this shape? I thought I would have drawn a lily pad there instead of a random- oh OH!" XD

Been meaning to draw her for a couple of years and earlier this year I finally did.

I grew up knowing her as Trixi because the German dub changed a lot of names. Did they think Gadget was too hard to pronounce? But then why was Inspector Gadget allowed to keep his name? Brings me to the conclusion that they changed her name so we wouldn't confuse these two characters.

Didn't give them their hats for space reasons and because I wanted to draw their hair/feathers, so I at least put a tophat on the duckie.
