fidaa is a 29 year old woman from gaza with two very young children, muhammed and sila, one of whom was born during the war. her home was destroyed and she’s been displaced many times, and is currently separated from the rest of her family- her husband, her many siblings, and her parents. i can only imagine how nerve-wracking this is.

she’s doing her best to take care of her children by herself, despite facing hunger, thirst, widespread disease, and the threat of death. the other day, there was intense bombing near her and another family close to her was killed. life in gaza right now is hell and she told me they feel like they are just waiting for their turn to die.

fidaa and i talk often, and i feel lucky to know her. she’s an incredibly strong person, she travels long distances to find limited supplies for her kids and helps her siblings raise money even though shes separated from them.

but she needs help. the situation in gaza is so bad right now, the idf is preventing aid from entering and the food, water, and medicine available are extremely expensive. please share and donate to help her and her children survive and eventually leave gaza

Hilda and her husband Mohamed were newly-wed before the siege on Ghazzah began. They were displaced last October and now live in a little tent far away from their now destroyed home.

Around 10 people are sheltered in this one tent, 3 of them being children, and their conditions are absolutely horrible. They have very little to eat and are surrounded by pests and disease. They've even seen venomous snakes in their area!

Their tent has been flooding overnight and does absolutely nothing to protect them from extreme heat or cold.

Hilda is also pregnant with her first child, which has compounded much of the difficulty she's faced.

Still, she must constantly work to keep herself and her family alive, even while her pregnancy pains continue to get worse and worse.

She is deeply worried for her future child's safety and the world they're going to be born into. There is no medical aid for her pain.

In order for Hilda and her family to be able to eventually evacuate, they need to raise €50,000. So far, they've only raised €4,302 with their last donation being 2 hours ago.

Hello everyone, I am Sondos Jad Al-Haq and I have a family of 4. I am a 24-year-old housewife who does not work. My husband, Mohammed Jad Al-Haq, is 30 years old. He had open heart surgery before the war and worked in a private medical analysis center where he holds a bachelor's degree. We had no income other than his work, which he lost due to the war. I have two sons, Ahmed, 4 years old, and Saleh, 2 years old.

During the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we went through very difficult circumstances. We were displaced several times and lost our home, which we paid for with all our savings, due to enemy bombs shortly after our first displacement. We lost all the beautiful things that my family and I used to enjoy, and the most difficult beautiful thing we lost was security and living in peace, due to the violent bombing that surrounded us everywhere we fled to.

Our days were difficult to say the least, as there were no viable sources of work to get the money we needed to meet our needs. Our situation is tragic and we are still stuck in a tent with no healthy food, no medicine, no water, and no electricity.

During the displacement process, we lost the stable and entertaining life that I, my husband, and my children used to live. They lost all the toys they loved and played with all the time and were deprived of the beautiful childhood they lived in the first days of their childhood. My husband, who suffers all the time from fatigue, exhaustion, and displacement from one tent to another, which made us despair. We were in a beautiful house to a tent in the middle of the street with no place to sleep. I need your help in raising money to leave the Gaza Strip because of the war.

This requires me to raise $20,000 that will cover the evacuation fees and our travel and transportation expenses, and about $30,000 that will go to rebuild our house when we return, God willing, so that the total amount I need will be $50,000.

I need to raise money to restore a beautiful life and stability outside the Gaza Strip. Everything I say only reaches a small amount of the suffering we are living. Before the war, my husband, my mother, and I decided to go to Egypt for a vacation and to undergo in vitro fertilization. But soon, the war broke out, and we found ourselves stranded there without residency or income. We lived in a shelter for cancer patients, where we found some support from a community sharing our struggles. However, my husband’s father needed expensive monthly treatments. Also before the war I was about to marry my fiancee , her name is Ruba Khaled Khader , we had planned to have our wedding in February 2024 but because of the war we haven’t gotten married yet and all our dreams of living a happy life have been shattered

Also my fiancée's house was destroyed and burned by the Israeli occupation and all her new wedding clothes were burned and she has nothing left.

My fiancée and I don't see each other very often because she and her family evacuated to a place far from where I live and the transportation is difficult and expensive.

It has been 2 years since I engaged my fiancée and we want to get married but we don’t have a place to live in and we don’t have the means to live.

And my fiancée is studying software engineering at Al-Ahar University and the university started an online education and I have to pay to the university so she can complete her education but I don’t have money or a source of income or a work to pay for her education.

A Family's Unending Journey for Safety in Gaza

My name is Mohammed, and I’m 35 years old, working as a nurse in a hospital here in Gaza. My wife, Diana, is 27, and together we’re trying to give our two young daughters a safe, stable life in a place that knows so little of either.

Our journey began in December 2023. That was when the military ordered us to evacuate our home in Al-Nuseirat. With only minutes to decide, we grabbed what we could carry, took our little girls, and moved to Khan Yunis, hoping it would be safer.

But our time there was short. We were ordered to leave Khan Yunis, so we packed up again and moved to Rafah. For a moment, we let ourselves hope that this would be the end of our running, that maybe we could start to rebuild. But Rafah wasn't safe either. Another order came, and we had no choice but to return to Al-Nuseirat, despite the dangers.

Today, we're renting a small apartment in Al-Nuseirat. It barely fits us, but it's the only place we can go. We live every day in fear, wondering if the next evacuation order will come. Each move takes away a bit more of the stability we try so hard to create for our girls. Every time we’re forced to flee, it feels like we leave behind pieces of the life we’ve worked to build.

There’s little left to hold on to but each other, and the hope that maybe one day we’ll finally find safety.

A few days ago, the world celebrated Universal Children’s Day, but we in Gaza barely noticed it. I used to organize activities for children at school on this occasion, but today, amidst war and the loss of rights for both children and adults, such celebrations feel like a distant memory. 😔

My grandchildren, like so many children in Gaza, have seen their lives turned upside down, losing their safety, play, and dreams. Even their basic right to food has been taken away from them💔.

My grandson, Zain, was born at the start of the war and has just turned one. He has missed out on proper care, nutrition, and basic needs. Even milk and diapers are scarce and expensive, making it hard to provide for him.

Lily has also suffered greatly and continues to endure the tragic situation. She often cries for simple things like having some meat, misses her toys and room,.she deeply misses her grandfather, who loved and spoiled her but tragically passed away during the war.

In these dark times, you, the generous supporters, have become the safe haven and a vital reason for survival, proving that humanity still exists in the hearts of those who care.🙏
