"Group activity daw pero ako ray ga-lihok."
In every successful group project lies clear communication and effective collaboration. In our latest campaign, we aim to address a common issue faced by many students such as doing all the work for a "group" activity while others seem to disappear. Through our campaign, we hope to highlight the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and how the use of ICT tools can foster a more efficient approach to group work.
1. Key Insights from the Concept Paper
Our research has shown that good teamwork is more than just dividing tasks. It’s about understanding that communication plays a critical role in ensuring that every member stays on track and contributes equally. The ICT Succession Theory provides an insightful framework for this. It emphasizes the need to share information in a logical sequence to avoid confusion and make sure everyone is aligned. By applying this theory, we can reduce misunderstandings, keep everyone in the loop, and make collaboration easier.
2. Campaign Development
In developing our campaign, we wanted to make sure it speaks directly to students who are all too familiar with the struggles of uneven group work because we focus on the idea that clear communication, divided responsibilities, and the use of tools like Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Messenger can make group work much more manageable. We also highlight how staying active and mindful in the process can prevent anyone from becoming a free rider, who lets others carry the load.
Through our campaign, we aim to inspire students to take responsibility for their tasks, communicate effectively, and use technology to facilitate group projects. By doing so, we believe group work will be a more equitable and productive experience for everyone involved.
3. Engagement Strategies
To reach our target audience effectively, we’ve implemented several engagement strategies. First, we’re using social media platforms like Facebook and Tiktok to share relatable content that highlight the frustrations of group work, and how clear communication can solve these issues. Our posts also encourage students to reflect on their own group work experiences, using hashtags like #CMCTrueTeamwork and #StopBeingPabigat to create a sense of community.
In addition to social media engagement, we are running interactive question sessions to gather feedback on students’ experiences with group work. This feedback will not only help shape future campaigns but also ensure that students feel involved in the process.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Through this campaign, we hope to empower students to embrace teamwork and clear communication, ensuring that group work is not a burden but an opportunity for growth. With the right tools and mindset, we believe students can make every group project a success.

This study looks at how switching between different digital tools and repeating messages affects how we communicate. In our analysis of this research, we note that it doesn’t fully explain how these changes in technology use impact the way we connect with others, especially in Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC). For example, in CMC, switching between apps or repeating messages might help make things clearer, but it can also cause confusion or slow down the conversation. As technology continues to evolve, it’s important to ask: does this way of communicating improve our connections, or does it make things more complicated? With so many digital tools available, are we really communicating better or just making it harder to have meaningful conversations?

South Africa Clinches Historic Fourth Rugby World Cup Title with 12-11 Win Over New
South Africa has won a record fourth Rugby World Cup by clinging to a narrow win over New Zealand 12-11 in a dramatic final held on October 28, 2023. Match at the Stade de France in Paris. This tension-filled and bruising contest was stamped with the red card on New Zealand's Sam Cane, given for a high tackle on Jesse Kriel of South Africa in the 29th minute as the first red card issued in the history of the Rugby World Cup final. The All Blacks fought bravely despite being reduced to 14 men. Handré Pollard scored all South Africa's points with four penalties while Richie Mo'unga kept New Zealand in the game with two successful penalties. It was Beauden Barrett's try that gave them a glimmer of hope. Mo'unga missed his conversion in the remaining points of the score, leaving the score just one point apart. New Zealand got a long-range opportunity to take the lead in the match in late stages, but Jordie Barrett's attempt at a penalty sailed over. South Africa held on for seconds, becoming the first team in history to win four World Cup titles.

One of my favorite plot twists is from an anime called The Promised Neverland, which was animated in January 2019 and written by Kaiu Shirai.
Tumblr media
The Promised Neverland opens like an affectionate story of a cozy orphanage full of cheerful children, and their gentle caretaker, Isabella whom they cheerfully refer to as "Mom." The orphanage is a haven where the kids live like family, awaiting the very day when they get "adopted" and enjoy a new lease on life. Very innocent charm is built in with the art and atmosphere of this story that draws you into what feels like a slice-of-life story about kids who trust in their "Mom" and dream of a brighter future.
But then comes that plot twist that changes everything. Emma, Norman, and Ray, three of the main characters, discover a horrifying truth-the orphanage isn't the sanctuary it seemed. In fact, it was a farm where the kids were bred to be fed to demons. All the adoptions they were looking forward to every year, all their friends sent off, weren't going to some other family-they were being sent to their deaths. It's a stomach-churning moment that turns the whole story on its head, making what appeared to be a idyllic story of childhood into this dark suspense thriller.
And to make things worse, the most loved "Mom" is not just a bystander; she plays an active part in this abhorrent system, keeping the kids well-groomed and ignorant, raising them like livestock for deliverance to their fates. It is such a betrayal to digest; it makes you feel so urgent about the kids' situation as they design an escape.
From then on, the entire tone shifts. It's no longer about the warmth of childhood but the raw fear and high stakes of survival in a brutal world ruled by demons and sinister conspiracies. When you watch Emma, Norman, and Ray strategize and fight for their freedom, The Promised Neverland becomes this easy orphan story transformed into a spine-chilling escape thriller full of moments of dread, heart, and twists that keep one hooked. It's an intense ride, blending psychological horror with mystery and suspense, and it pulls you in as you root for the kids' survival in a world that's much darker than you could have ever imagined.

A Colorful Cultural Showcase in the Philippines This Week
This week, the Philippines celebrated an event that highlights its vibrant culture, history, and artistry. One of the key attractions is the ongoing exhibition "Kwentong Kahoy," held at Sevina Park, Laguna, organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Running until December 2, the exhibit showcases the versatility of wood in Filipino art, featuring contemporary works that reflect the deep connection between nature and creativity.
In Metro Manila, the annual celebration of Filipino Values Month continues, emphasizing themes such as community, resilience, and compassion. This coincides with National Children’s Month, which promotes child welfare through workshops and activities across the country. Both events aim to celebrate Filipino heritage and promote social progress.
Concerts and cultural performances featuring local and international artists are taking place in Bonifacio Global City and at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Altogether, this week’s celebrations offer a rich blend of cultural exploration, reflection on values, and entertainment, all of which highlight the uniqueness of Filipino identity and creativity.

One of my favorite quotes doesn’t come from books or movies—it’s something my parents taught me. They said, “The biggest failure isn’t failing; it’s not trying.”
Tumblr media
As a child, I didn’t fully understand their words. I let them pass from one ear to the other, not realizing the depth of their meaning. But as I grew older, I came to see how true they were. Failing isn’t the worst thing that can happen—regret is. My father always said that regret is the most painful feeling because it’s rooted in what could have been.
You can fail after trying, but at least you’ll know you gave it your best. That kind of failure is different; it teaches you lessons and builds resilience. But not trying? That leaves you with endless "what ifs" and a lingering sense of loss.
Now, as a second-year college student, I’ve decided to take risks in every situation, no matter how daunting. Life is too short to be ruled by fear. Failure isn’t the end of the world, but regret can follow you forever. So, I choose to try, because even if I fail, I’ll know I gave it my all—and that fulfillment is worth everything.

If I could describe my perfect day, it would be spending time with my loved ones.
Tumblr media
As someone who deeply values quality time, bonding, and meaningful moments, even the smallest amount of time with my loved ones brings incomparable happiness.
Whether it’s any day, at any time, in any weather, or for any occasion, being with them is what I cherish the most.

Hello, everyone!
I just want to post here about my favorite character in the novel I have read entitled Tian Guan Ci Fu. The English translation of this is Heaven Official Blessings.
The character I love and like the most is Xie Lian. He is a crown prince of the kingdom called Xianle. Xie Lian is a very talented young man and has a very kind heart, which most people take advantage of; he always helps people without even thinking what will happen to him. You will also learn a lot of life lessons from his character.
After reading books 1 until 3, I cry a lot because of how they treated Xie Lian even though he helped those people a lot, yet they don’t know to appreciate him, which makes me sad. I hope when I read the books 4 until 8, they will know how to appreciate him.
That’s all, guys. Please read this book; it's really interesting, and you won’t regret it, I swear.

When I was in Grade 6, I discovered Wattpad—a platform where people who love writing come together to share their stories. It was here that I encountered the works of Binibining Mia (I Love You Since 1892) and April Avery (Titan Academy of Special Abilities).
I vividly remember covering my mouth in excitement and kilig over their stories, even over the clichés and cheesy lines. At the same time, I cried my heart out whenever a beloved character had to die to advance the plot. It hurt so much, but I knew those moments weren’t mine to change—they were part of the authors' creation.
Over the years, I became deeply invested in their stories, which became my escape from the chaos of real life. I even used my first salary to buy books from National Bookstore to expand my collection. All in all, their works inspired me to believe in endless possibilities which eventually fuel my passion for writing.
For me, being a writer isn’t just about telling stories—it’s about pouring your heart into words and crafting ideas that connect with others. It’s challenging, yet incredibly rewarding. That’s why, if I could be anyone in the world, I would choose to be a great writer who touches readers' hearts and leaves a lasting mark.

Looking Back
Life was warm with gentle ease, Not grand nor broken, just simple peace. No cellphones, no TikTok craze— Just laughter, games, and carefree days.
I see myself out in the sun, Playing with friends, on the run, Returning home muddy, drenched in sweat, A childhood joy I’ll never forget.
With my sisters, cartoons on screen, Waiting for mom in the dimming scene, Ignoring the hunger, lost in the show, Then mom walks in with dinner to stow.
It wasn’t fancy, but it was enough, We shared our meals, both simple and rough. Life back then was small and kind, But growing up, we’ve left that behind.
Now we're older, faces lined, With tougher roads and steeper climbs, Yet grateful still for what we’ve learned— From simple times to strength hard-earned.
Through all the years, the joy holds true: We are here, and we made it through.

The Rising Action, Climax and Falling Action of My Favorite Story
Tumblr media
One of my favorite stories is the tell-tale heart that was written by Edgar Allan Poe it’s all about the unnamed narrator who murder the old man.
Tumblr media
Rising Action
For the next eight nights, the Narrator sneaks into the old man's room while he sleeps, hoping to catch a glimpse of that unsettling "vulture" eye. But every time, the eye remains shut, so the Narrator decides to let the old man live a little longer.
Tumblr media
One fateful night, the old man wakes up, startled, and the light from a lantern catches his eye. In a sudden move, the Narrator rushes in and smothers him to death.
Tumblr media
The police show up to check out a scream that pierced the night air. Feeling overly confident about his actions, the Narrator casually invites the officers to take a seat right above where he’s hidden the old man's body, which he chopped up and buried under the floorboards in the old man's own room.
Tumblr media
Climax
The Narrator picks up on a soft noise, almost like a heartbeat. It begins to make him feel uneasy.
Tumblr media
Falling Action
The thumping of a heart, muffled like it's wrapped in cotton, grows increasingly intense. The Narrator feels like the police are just toying with him.
