it/its pronouns are not inherently dehumanizing, unless the user wants them to be. it/its pronouns aren't weird. it/its pronouns aren't too hard to use. people who only use it/its pronouns need to have this be respected no matter what your beliefs are. you don't get to single out people with "weird" pronouns and misgender us and use incorrect pronouns. accept someone who uses it/its as you support someone who uses they/them. there's nothing wrong with it/its pronouns. respect its users.

(imagine as if this is being read slowly but passionately- it's how discovery of oneself feels. slow, permanent and terrifying, though there's nothing really to be done to slow it in the end) This is true. Expecally if said parents do noticeably better/are less hard on the kids that come after you.
It's kind if bittersweet in a way because what do you mean I can watch them grow up without fear and less punishment while I have to live with the consequences of their first time parenting. Parenting that left us in multiple pieces, at that.
Of course you want the best for the kids that came after but also how could you? And to not see the harm done the first time? It was never 'that bad'- someone always had it worse but all those 'not that bad's' put enough pressure down that something would eventually crack.
Is it 'not that bad', really, if it all still sticks in your head-it stains the inside of the brain even after the damage had already been done and cleaned up long ago? Trauma is a funny thing. - Raphiel
I'm so tired of parents who didn't mean to

okay so I'm writing a novel and for the like 2/4ths of the story the mc is very lighthearted and cheery about evreything, even as bad stuff is happing. Like frankly bad things are happening to him. Im just worried it'll come off as insensitive even though theres never any sort of joke made about the character, it just that he goes through evreything very happily and throws humor he (and therefore the narration has) is a decently dry, almost like risqué humour?

i love my bisexual son* (someone's bisexual and it's probably also me) *i view ceil (and by extension ray) as more of like the little guys i watch over rather than acual sons. Cousins, maybe. They're the kind of strange cousins but are in reality very sweet. I DO enjoy being around you guys hut so help me if I have to hear Your Idol again or hear either of you two talk endlessly about that emo one I will get very cross
