mix of a body study of Redback and also a reference for the spines that are developing on his shoulder due to his shapeshifting!
He's gradually losing proper movement in that arm, it's a bit like developing bone instead of skin. The older he gets, the worse it's going to build up.

just realized that Cora can use her electricity to act like a defibrillator,, which gives me crazy possibilities for the end of her story... HMM
C&L does have a happy? ending in line but I would like to figure out the way I could have Cora learn and grow. A peak of the writing that implies that they have to sacrifice something, they have to make a decision that won't help them. They have to make a mistake that allows them to adapt and find a way to somewhat fix it.
I don't think this will be a comic (yet), or even a novel, but I would like to do something... In the meantime I shall throw crumbs into this blog and leave it here
#rascal text#C&L isn't actually a really happy story unfortunately#I draw it that way because it's a treatment to a lot of emotions in my life#but the story is supposed to tackle prejudice and issues that are great big undertones for what I grew up with and the world#there's a lot of anger involved and hunger for something better
