My tics started at the age of 3, and have never left.
I have simple, complex, and mental tics. They all suck.
Tics
Tics are a compulsive, repetitive sound or movement thatâs often difficult to control.
They are caused by neurons firing at incorrect and inappropriate times. Often times, tics worsen with heightened emotions, lack of sleep, caffeine, etc.
Usually, they are onset in early years, generally about 5-7
There are motor tics, vocal/phonic tics, and tics of the mind/mental tics. These are then broken down further to simple vs. complex.
Simple Motor (very few muscle groups): head jerk, facial grimacing, eye rolling, clapping, finger flexing, muscle tightening, etc.
Complex Motor (many muscle groups): jumping, thrusting limbs, multiple tics in a sequence, bladder/bowel + stomach involved, etc.
Simple Vocal/Phonic: grunting, sniffing, coughing, snorting, squeaking, tongue clicking, etc.
Complex Vocal/Phonic: repeating others words, repeating own words, singing, immitating noises, change in voice/speech, etc.
Mental tics: intrusive thoughts, fears/phobias, obsessive thoughts, negative thinking, random phrases and words, etc.

No, no, I 100% totally want to be sticking my finger up at everyone I see and keep hitting myself. Well done, you figured me out. I love it *so* much! -_-

Depression doesnât mean sometimes youâre a bit sad
Anxiety doesnât mean sometimes you worry about something important
OCD doesnât mean neat and tidy
Touretteâs doesnât mean you can swear whenever you want
Autism doesnât mean youâre a social awkward computer
ADHD doesnât mean being RaNdUm
PTSD doesnât mean angsty broody war flashbacks
Self Harm doesnât mean glamorous yet sad moments
Eating disorders arenât cute skinny bodies
DID arenât having multiple full personalities you can change on a whim
Bipolar disorder isnât being a little bit moody and going from laughing to crying in a day @imnotokaythanks
BPD isn't stealing someone else personality traits on purpose. Or being manipulative. @regenboog-love
Please donât use these terms lightly and glamourise them. They are serious conditions people can struggle with and acting like this only leads to stereotypes and misinformation.
If you have any more tell me and Iâll add to the post

YES THANK YOU, SOMEONE SAID IT! I LOVE YOU, OH MY GOD!
Tourette syndrome is a neurological disorder NOT a mental illness. Stop spreading incorrect information! Â This isnât up for debate. You wouldnât call epilepsy a mental illness, because itâs not.
This isnât saying donât support people with mental illness so donât start that, because none of you care about tourettes to begin with besides to make jokes and inaccurate headcanons âŚ.Â
Please reblog even if you donât have TS, spread the word to you non ticcing friends. Â Â

Yes yes, thank you. Iâm going to go cry in my bed now because my head hurts after hitting it so much- :c
Shout out to people who have:
- Tics that embarrass them
-Loud tics
-Tics that last a long time
-Tics that call a lot of attention/ are "distracting" to others
-Tics that can be seen as rude
-Tics that are very unique
-Tics that are very complex
You guys are doing so great, and I hope you have a good week đ Your tics are nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about and they do not define you

Do you ever just feel so gay that you can't function properly, and then your S.O be over here like.. 'You're the most incredible person in the world, I love you so much â¤đ' and you die inside because you thought you were gonna be single for life, but you're partner be so perfect and you would love and die for them at the same time?
And then all you can do is fluster and send them this..

The reason Virgil doesn't like Deceit; after revealing name as Edward, he started watching Virgil sleep every night.
Deceit's Name Theory
Y'know how they keep mentioning Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in Sanders Sides?
"(about Deceit) Dr Trick-yll and Mr Lies" -Roman
"Jekyll and Lied" -Deceit
The book also talks about the dangers of repression which is a topic discussed quite a bit on Sanders Sides.
So I was wondering, what if Deceit's name has to do with Jekyll and Hyde? Mr Hyde's first name is Edward and that kinda goes along with the Ethos/Pathos/Logos theory.
Edward Classy Sanders.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
