Silent Love
Often loudness is in disguise of love
Performative declarations
Promises and dreams built on words
True love is a glass of water always full by your bed
Paints you mentioned yesterday on the counter
Just because flowers because today was hard
A cool towel on your feverish forehead
Not drinking so you can drive your tired lover home
Observing patterns
Watchful eyes
Attentive ears
Its doing without asking
Not reading their mind
But being so aware you don't need to
Where the commitment of care outweighs anything
The silence of love is simply action without words

Astrology thoughts #1
I believe in both free will within astrology and fate.
Transits are only influences on you as a person
A chart may show what you are drawn to, experiences you may choose, values you may hold over others
Because it doesn't give a detailed essay of factors about you
What you do with the influences is up to you
Just as chiron heals, it also wounds
Your mars on your partners Chiron
Will you heal or will you continue harm?
Trines connecting aspects, will you choose the easy route or continue to work to strengthen the bond
Squares to planets, will you struggle and give up? Or work harder to create the strongest bond?
Oppositions, will you fight against or see how different you are and learn from another?
Harsh aspects are harsh
But it is in the most difficult and darkest of experiences that we come out stronger with a firmer foot on the ground.
They show us what we truly need and feel
Easy aspects are lucky, feel good and easy but when you get too comfortable, you take them for granted.
Saturn restricts and withholds but it rewards in due time. Saturn teaches us how to live without
Jupiter expands and gives luck but too much at once is overwhelming and you learn nothing.
Pluto not only destroys the tower but removes every trace of its existence. But in order to transform into something new, you can't grow from rubble. It has to be a complete fresh slate.
There is beauty in the pain and the pleasure of every planet, aspect, and connection

Jazz
Unnerves me
Forces my rushed body to still
Tingling parts of my mind
To Sit
To Soak
To Soothe
Musicians in their own world
Unaware and in bliss
That never stop playing
Jazz

PTSD
Publicly overnight our bed got brought to the masses
Through stories, gossip and texting
Strangers then demanding access to my mind's crevices
Did I do the right thing?

Cannibalism
Neck open for a lustful bite
Handling a body as light weight
I don't want to come, I'm not done with you yet
Lips, a meal for a starving man
Feasting as if our breath will end any second
Let's play a game
Hands leaving marks
Light headed as ecstasy reaches higher
Salivating, I could f*** you forever
Feral, primal, Uncontrolled
What is the line between cannibalism and sex?
Because I won't be sated until I eat you alive

Once my mind wandered from the grief of a lost love,
It found, beneath a pile of forgotten letters and books,
Poetry again.

Humanity
The tenderness of humanity is a lost art.
Though is one the poets yearn for.
One the musicians ache to craft but are nervous to play the first note.
Where community screams and shouts.
All while the outspoken are silenced.

(un)moving time
The birds discussing outside my window
Tires being worn on the pavement
Tranquility between the sirens
Only the clock is working today
Moments between dreams and sight
An unmoving body to the cloud it rests on
Bliss, contentment, peace
The clock should join my weekend too
