The Genealogy of The First Spinjitzu Master, Redemancy AU

The Overlord is the first consciousness of primordial chaos. Not evil, not destruction, but chaos. The Overlord was nothing but also everything. There was no time, there was no up, there was no down. He was bored being the only thing to exist. Up until the day he created The 13 Realms with an intention to let all fall into chaos. But this creation took a great amount of his power. He chose to sit among his creations in Ninjago as an immortal witness to their fall into chaos. The Overlord took on the name Khaos and took a wife named Kanna. Khaos, due to his love for Kanna, made her immortal and established her as one of the first kitsune.

Kanna and Khaos had three children:

Kocho

Ryū

Hideo

Kocho was the oldest and was born the first dragon. Ryū grew up to become the first elemental master. Hideo grew up to be the first oracle. Ryū was the first to learn of Khaos's magic of bargains. In return for doing something for Khaos, Ryū could wish for anything he wanted. Ryū requested power equal to that of Khaos in return, Khaos would have entertainment beyond compare. Kocho and Hideo spent their lives celibate, Kocho because she's a lizard with wings due to Khaos's primordial DNA and Hideo because he never felt sexual attraction toward no one. Ryū meanwhile had three children that he created using magic.

Ichiro Ito, who would go onto take the name Garmadon as it was an ancient name meaning conquerer.

Kenji Ito, who would go onto take the name Wu from a nickname an oni named Masami had given him as a joke.

Kazuko Ito, who went onto lead Ninjago under her husband's surname Fujiwara.

Garmadon made a pact with Khaos to not be able to die unless directly killed. Wu made a pact with Khaos to not die as long as Garmadon continued to live, in return for that, Wu would always put up a fight to Garmadon's schemes. That was the exact kind of chaos that Khaos desired.

Garmadon and Wu would outlive Kazuko and watch her progeny build Ninjago into a beautiful, harmonious nation as they continued to fight one another, and when the situation called for it, alongside each other. Up until the day Garmadon and Wu met Misako from Hayami Village. Garmadon and Misako fell in love and had a son. Misako left Garmadon to raise Lloyd on his own. Garmadon could not do that due to his proclivaties as the last great warlord of Ninajgo. Wu took in Lloyd to be cared for by a home for abandoned children in Emiko City ran by a girl named Delphi Drakos. It is six years after that day that this story takes place.

Redemancy AU, Elemental Masters

New Elements that have been added, plus masters at the start of the series:

The current headcanon to elemental mastery for the Redemancy AU is that the elemental master holds onto their element until their successor can truly synergize with their element, as the successor gets stronger the predecessor will weaken until being just an ordinary person once more.

Another change to the canon that was made for the Redemancy AU is that it isn't serving The Green Ninja or reaching full potential that allows someone to synergize with their element. The method used to reach synergizing with the element is to do a 'great service' to Ninjago by utilizing their element to a point of pushing the boundaries of the person.

World-Building Notes In The 'Make-It-Make-Sense' Part Of Making The Redemancy AU Work.

The Government of Ninjago(Redemancy AU)

The Government has three branches. That being Executive, Judicial, and Legislative. This system had been set in place after The First Serpentine War during a civil war that broke out afterwards due to the instability of Ninjago during that timeThe Executive Branch holds The Prime Minister and his cabinet, they aren't who really matter but in order to keep the masses compliant they act like The Prime Minister is the most important role. The Prime Minister can declare martial law, appoint judges for the judicial branch, pardon criminals, veto or approve laws(Though there is an appeals process), and happen to be commander-in-chief of Ninjago militia. The most important job here is the execution and enforcement of laws created by both the Senate and District Assemblage.

The Legislative Branch is built of two groups. The Senators and District Assemblage. There are nine members of each. The Senators are appointed by the king, queen, or sovereign ruler of Ninjago while the District Assemblage is elected by the people. They are in charge of making laws that protect their peoples' or Ninjago's best interests. They are not allowed to receive any money from stocks, bribes, gifts, lobbying, etc. Only their monthly salary is what they are allowed. They can appeal a veto with a 8/9s vote. There are nine districts in Ninjago.

The Southeastern District officially but locally known as The Mountain State due to the sheer amount of mountains there.

The Southern District but the civilians call it Ninjago's Heart and Soul due to Ninjago City and several important cities to commerce lay here.

The Southwest District, The Everlasting Desert, a personal hellscape for many but the locals love it. Outside of desert there are lush jungles full of life. The spirituality here is very alive and shows through the art and music.

The Western District, also known as The Melting Pot, this was where a group of Northerners colonized a perfectly nice warring section of peoples and forced them to be their version of civilized. The Western District is known for rich mythology that managed to survive from the natives and live on in the people.

The Northwestern District, affectionately called 'The Bank Note District' is where all the districts who didn't deplete their funds on wars but gained lots of it through colonization. They are rich and are the second most influential district after The Southern District.

The Northern District, or as locals know it, The Snow Lands, this place is rich in old mythology concerning elemental masters. Nowadays it's mostly cut off from most of Ninjago due to the freezing temperatures but lucky for The Northern District, they aren't very phased by The Serpentine due to how cold it is.

The Northeastern District, this place is known as The Wasteland. It's freezing and everyone is miserable due to it being difficult to give and receive trade with other districts. They too are protected from The Serpentine but they don't care when every winter their young die of starvation. Not because of district government, the national government is just a piece of work.

The Eastern District, the land known as The Last Piece of Classical Ninjago, is known for being immensely wealthy and has a large tourism industry due to how much old ninjago history lays here. It is the second largest tourist area. They still do public executions here on occasion, but that only drums up numbers of visitors.

The Southeastern Archipleago, also known as The Warring Seas, is the newest district of Ninjago, becoming the Ninth District. This is specifically because The Southeastern Archipelago has so much weird crime and warring factions that The South Eastern District simply cut off a bit of it's land and let the sliver of mainland Ninjago known as Hayami and Port Soto as well as all the islands they are closest to, become their own district. They have swamp-like lands and are home to The Toxic Bog as well as The Mangrove Isles which is a series of islands that build up the largest swamp in Ninjago. This area is the largest tourist industry in all of Ninjago too due to the nature of the land's weirdness cultivating a rich history.

The Judicial Branch is the section of Ninjago Government that ratifies laws based on whether or not they are in line with The Grand Compromise and The Inalienable Rights which are two documents that form the basis of Ninjago's government. They are the final court of justice in the land. They are selected by the Prime Minister.

Outside of the government's influence is The Royal Family. This consists of Queen Megumi Fujiwara and her husband King Consort Daku Fujiwara as well as their two children Kyoko and Haruki. Together they are the current Royal Family of Ninjago. They are said to descend from The Grand Creator/The First Spinjitzu Master. This piece of information is factually correct and is, in fact, not propaganda. Queen Megumi's role in Ninjago as it stands is as a figurehead and a piece of Ninjago's rich history as a nation.

The Redamancy AU

Redamancy AU is what I affectionately call my Ninjago re-write. I'd thought I'd share some changes to the main cast's pre-main story lives for funsies :D

Kai:

He and Nya are raised by their mother's bestfriend(Tomoe Kobayashi) and her best friend's husband husband(Hikaru Kobayashi).

Kai got his fire element from his mother Amara.

He lives in a village that lays at the base of the mountain that the monastery lays upon.

Kai works with the Kobayashi family since it was easy work and it gave him daylight hours to do whatever.

Kai has Dyslexia and ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

His full name is Kai Isamu Smith. He is sixteen years old. His birthday is August 1st.

Nya:

She and Kai are raised by their mother's bestfriend(Tomoe Kobayashi) and her bestfriend's husband(Hikaru Kobayashi)

Nya operates as Samurai X and prefers to work alone rather than as a team anyway.

Nya listens to a radio station called 'South Eastern Archipelago Oceanic Radio Station' or SEAORS that reports the ever changing status of the South Eastern Archipelago. She likes the pirate stories.

Nya had an apprenticeship with an inventor named Marnie Grace who lived in the village Nya grew up in. Nya eventually ends it to become Samurai X.

Nya has a special assistant she built named Ruth who keeps her lab clean, as well as alert Nya to disturbances in Ninjago and keep track of correspondence between Destiny's Bounty.

Her full name is Nya Tomoe Smith. She is fifteen years old. Her birthday is October 29th.

Lloyd:

Lloyd had a caretaker named Delphi who acts more like an older sister than a mother. But Lloyd doesn't care. He's just happy to have someone. Not like he'd admit it or anything.

Lloyd has purple eyes and very sharp canines from being conceived by Misako and Lord Garmadon while Lord Garmadon was very much so a demon-like man.

He wanted to be a comic artist before he got sent into the Ninjago foster system.

Lloyd has ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ASD(Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Garmadon is not Lloyd's actual last name nor is it Lord Garmadon's actual name. Garmadon was an ancient word in a now long dead language of Ninjago. Garmadon meant 'Dominant, In Control'

Lloyd's full name is Lloyd Montgomery Ito. His birthday is July 5th. Lloyd is eight years old.

Zane:

Zane causes extreme feelings of unease around normal people and people feel extremely cold when around him.

Zane has been chased out of 16 villages because they thought him an Oni desperately trying to hold onto a human form.

Sensei Wu found Zane when he went to investigate the claims of a shapeshifting Oni. Sensei Wu brought Zane to The Monastery under the promise of a family and not being chased out of another village.

Zane is specifically built to function and grow like a human because although an artificial automaton, the remnants of the last Elemental Master of Ice live and breathe within him, making him an elemental master in wait of finding his old life.

Zane is very friendly with the Yōkai that Master Wu employs to keep his information webs strong. He is especially friendly with the kitsune on the coastal village of Hayami in the South Eastern Archipelago.

Zane's full name is Zane Boreas Julien. His creation date is February 18th. He is sixteen years old.

Jay:

Jay's biological parents are a swindler named Flynn Watts and a school teacher named Mary Walker. Mary Walker offered Jay to her brother Edward and his wife Janis because Mary didn't have the salary for raising Jay. Edward and Janis jumped at the opportunity to raise a child. No one told Jay his Aunt Mary was actually his mother.

Jay had a pet guinea pig as a kid named 'Scraps'. Scraps fell into a trash compacter.

Jay was homeschooled by Janis and Edward until fourth grade. He exceled so hard he ended up skipping a few grades and being a high school sophomore at age thirteen before Sensei Wu found him.

Jay took online classes while training with Sensei Wu and is the only one of the ninja to have finished high school.

Jay was taught how to ballroom dance by Janis who used to competitively ballroom dance before getting too old to safely do it without hurting himself.

Jay's full name is Jay Benedict Walker. His birthday is September 10th. He is fifteen years old.

Cole:

Cole has a childhood bestfriend/girlfriend he calls Aster who he writes letters to. He sends her letters scented with his cologne. Aster sends dried aster flowers enclosed in her letters to him.

Cole is a naturally big boi. His father used to hate this.

Cole loves cake so much because he never was allowed to have any as a kid and to him cake tastes like freedom.

Cole ran away from The Martin Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts after two days. He was fourteen. Sensei Wu found Cole and convinced Cole to come with him.

Cole was the first ninja taken in by Sensei Wu.

Cole's full name is Nicholas Claude Brookstone. His birthday is December 30th. He is seventeen years old.

I'm Re-Watching Ninjago For Research Purposes. I Freaking Love Zane.

I'm at the episode Home in Season 1. Zane is giving ✨Autism✨ energy. And I love it. I remember why elementary school me thought: "💖He🤩JuSt💀LiKe🥰Me💅FoR💞rEaL🥂”

I Am Going To Re-Write The Ninjago Series.

I was re-watching the series and it feels like anything after Season 2 is it's own show completely. Each season feels like it's own show to me, different shows but the same characters. Not too mention, so many things just being thrown out of left field and the viewership is meant to just run with it. I still love the show and I'll admit Season 4 is my favorite season, but I have decided to throw my hand at trying to re-write it. I am aware it's a kids show so the writing doesn't have to be amazing, but I feel there is potential in it. My goals with this project are as follows:

Have Villains That Exist Organically Exist Within The World And Exist Reasonably

Introduce The Idea Of Elemental Masters Who Exist Outside Of The Ninja Before Season 4.

Give The Entire Series A Longer Lasting Over-Arching Plot

Make New Characters And Villains To Make The World Feel More Full.

Abolish The Jay-Nya-Cole Love Triangle Of Season Three. I Have Seen Dyslexic, Deaf, Blind, Lymph Node Cyst Bacteria Write Better Work Than That Abomination Of A Love Triangle.

Give Each Member Of The Core Group(Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, and Lloyd) A Season Of Focus On Their Character Arcs.

Let Nya Stay As The Samurai. I Didn't Like How Late They Waited To 'Reveal' She Was An Elemental Master And How They Only Started Teaching Her When They Needed Her. Only When They Needed Her. This Is A Personal Nitpick.
