I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. #AmericanRobin
Stumbled on a Robin chasing ants this morning. It is said that the breeding period for American Robin begins shortly after the returning to the summer range. And they are also the first North American birds to lay eggs and normally have two to three broods per breeding season, which last from April to July.
So it is normal to frequently see them in a constant search to feed their little ones.

#CanadianPrairies
It is the fourth day that we are receiving Special Quality Air Statement from Government due to the smoke from wildfires in the Canadian Prairies… actually this has been happening each summer for 6 years now.
So again, it is a very sad unfortunate year for the entire wilderness.

#ClimateChange
Seriously, everybody knows that the planet is really warming up. But hey!
Over 300 wildfires in Canada are actively ravaging the Western Territories and the Province of British Columbia fuelled by thousand of lightning strikes. Everything is burning down there. Houses, establishments, nature, wildlife…
It’s happening more than 5000km from here and it has been bringing us a high quantity of smog for over a month now with high temperatures in the area; even with the burning smell.
We have friends living in Vancouver, aka Raincouver where it rains pratically everyday, and they say that they haven’t received any rain for over 50 days.
Unbelievable!

#NorthernRaven
It is June 3rd and kids are about to take their first flight lesson. They are nearly at 2km from here and we can still hear them replying to Mother Raven who's teaching them how to communicate; in code.
Meaning we're most likely about to see the entire family flying around soon.

#Wolverine
So have you ever seen a Canadian Wolverine? Well me, it's only the second time that I have encountered one in 40 years of living in the forest. They have such a beautiful and thick fur that I can't help myself thinking of peting him. And have you noticed the size of his claws? They look similar to the one of a Grizzly, so cool.
And yes, I know, the chives have seen some better days but the 2 pots of red hot pepper are amazing and this summer season they will explode outside.

#JackRabbit
It is said that Jackrabbits can run up to 45 mph (72km/h), just fast enought to avoid coyotes, wildcats and other predators; and that's amazing. So long life to our morning runner friend of the Mountainous Parts of the Northern Hemisphere.
Oh, and seasonnal colors almost acquired btw.

#EarlyTrespassing
Yesterday morning wasn't the right time, neither the right moment to trespass a Coyote territory.
At first sight we've been clearly spotted by this couple of Coyote. Usually they don't care much about humans as long as we're not trespassing their territories in the middle of their breeding season; unfortunately we're just at the beginning of it. Like most wild animals, Coyotes can be easily offended during this time and by any means necessary, will protect their family as well as their hunting territories on which they count on to feed their youngsters. The female seems relatively calm but still cautious of our presence contrary to the male who was agitated, noisy, and didn't seem to be in a mood to socialize with us.
Sure the fact that we suprised them didn't help the situation. So slowly we decided to leave this area going, backwards.
