😱 this is sooooooo cool. Thank you so much!
All four of them are so well done. I love Bowie’s little cone an his bandaged hind leg 😻.

It's just a quick sketch, but since today is International Cat Day, it was an idea - an illustration for a "cat-loving" fanfiction - Of Cats and Other Omens by Raxacoricofallapatoriusrulez, which is currently being continued. Maybe I'll redraw yet it and color it….

🌿✨ New Fic Teaser ✨📚
(Coming mid/late August – once I finish writing + editing properly!)
Went to Kew Gardens recently, and naturally that spiraled into a Good Omens human AU:
Crowley is a botanist with a PhD, working on the Tree of Life project. He gives science tours for school groups (and the occasional misguided adult). Aziraphale owns a dusty little bookshop in Soho and signs up for said tour purely to prove to his extremely athletic, extremely annoying brother that he does get outside sometimes.
It’s going to be short-ish, slice-of-life, low-stakes, high-fluster. Here’s a little preview:
Tumblr media
Aziraphale realized his mistake almost immediately.
The tour group was mostly under the age of ten, outfitted in neon jackets and sticky fingers. There was a bubble machine involved. A woman named Bev handed him a clipboard shaped like a leaf.
He considered backing out. Quietly. With dignity.
And then the tour guide arrived.
Crowley — according to the badge clipped loosely to his coat — was tall, lean, wind-ruffled, and wore sunglasses on top of his head despite the grey clouds. His boots were muddy. His coat looked like it had once been expensive, now repurposed into something vaguely feral. He had the energy of someone who regularly forgot to eat and slept only when plants did.
He started talking about tree evolution using illustrations and sock puppets. Aziraphale, for reasons that remained unclear, stayed.
Later, while the children ran off toward a planting station, Crowley drifted up beside him.
“Bit older than our usual demographic,” he said, not unkindly.
Aziraphale cleared his throat. “Yes, well. I booked this as a… gesture.”
Crowley arched an eyebrow. “A gesture?”
“To prove to my brother that I do, in fact, leave the house.”
There was a beat. Then Crowley grinned, slow and crooked.
“Spite-booking a children’s botany tour. That’s a new one. Can’t say I hate it.”
Aziraphale glanced away, flustered. “It was meant to be adult-led. Educational.”
“I am an adult and educational,” Crowley said solemnly. “Especially about moss.”

What a lovely list of recommendations. I’m off to read 😅
Good Omens Fan Fiction Friday (7/18/25) - Sweet
Tumblr media
Last week, I broke from my norms and shared darker fics that I loved despite the tags. (Yeah, I know. Compared to lots of stuff out there, my recs are barely gray. Despite formerly "enjoying" films like Un Chien Andalou that literally caused audience members to vomit, my tastes have turned soft. Sue me.)
This week, I make up for it by sharing a small selection of "sweet" fics. What makes them sweet? When I finish them, that's the one-word description I add to my spreadsheet.
Let's start with a fic that for me, epitomizes the theme: Putting the Endearment in Dear (G) by @joyandotherstories. From my spreadsheet: "Aziraphale starts referring to everyone as 'my dear' so he has an excuse to use it for Crowley. Through the Ages. No plot. Sweet. LOVED it! Very emotional. Left me in tears at the end."
Just above it in alphabetical order is Putting the "Bet" in "Betrothed" (T) by @rogue-bard and just as fond a favorite. Aziraphale and Crowley make a bet over who can abstain from miracles the longest. It's as funny as you'd expect. A fine extra are the humans commenting on the action. And yeah, it's sweet.
In Sauntering Through Space and Time (E) by @slurpi13, Crowley uses the excuse of needing to stick close after the Armageddon't to convince Aziraphale to stay in his room while he sleeps. He discovers that he actually sleeps better when the angel is nearby. If you're soft for Aziraphale being tender to a sleeping Crowley, you'll love this one.
When Aziraphale and Crowley return to the bookshop after the Armageddon't, they find Adam has returned nearly everything back to normal. Except now there's a marriage contract on the wall. Slow (T) by write-away/@theirdarkreturning finds Aziraphale rushing forward with the idea of being married while Crowley worries about going too fast. How could it be anything but sweet?
AppleSeeds has written many fics I'd call sweet. But I'm happy to shout out Subtle Escalation (T). Years ago, Crowley published historical fiction about two men (a bookseller and a herbalist) who shared an intimate, asexual bond. He wants to revisit the characters so he offers to write fan fiction for Fandom Trumps Hate and ends up working with Aziraphale. This fic is very meta and so very terribly sweet.
The War of the Pie Dish (G) by sodium_aizde/ @sodiumazideandothertoxins is literally as sweet as pie. Crowley moves into a new flat and finds a treat at his door in a beautiful, blue pie dish. Thus begins the "war" in which the pair pass the plate back and forth with new treats. Amazingly, the pair don't meet through most of this fic and it's still achingly sweet.
Let's toss in a WIP from the delightful @on1occasionfork, Thus Saith the Lord (E). After averting the Second Coming, the pair go on a road trip in the Bentley. I've always loved a road trip story. And this one is a fun travelogue. But it got the "sweet" label in chapter 13, “You,” the demon says, his voice rough and so close to Aziraphale that he can feel the movement of lips against his ear. “You are what I enjoy. I enjoy watching you enjoy things. Taking you places that you like. Seeing you indulge. You make me happy.” Did I need to take a moment after reading this (and after typing it into this post)? Maybe.
New up is a loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou (T) by Chash. In 6000 years, the principality Aziraphale and demon Crowley have never met. But Hell wants reality television to stay corrupt. And Heaven wants to protect one of their greatest assets, The Great British Bake-Off. The pair compete against each other on behalf of their home offices. And once they meet? Well, let's just say that it's not just the baked goods that are sweet.
Finally, I just started reading a new fic. I'm not even finished yet and I already know it's going to end up bookmarked as a favorite. I couldn't let this post go live without including it. It's I REALLY FUCKING LOVE YOU (M) by @thisisshiny. Inspired by fan favorite, Flowers for Anthony, this fic finds Crowley wake up dead and confused. The angel in charge of helping him find his final resting place seems to recognize him. So the two work together to figure out the mystery. It's funny. It's a lovely homage to London. And it's so very sweet. Is this list far too short for the theme? Absolutely. There are no shortage of "sweet" fics in the Good Omens fandom. But I gotta, y'know, eat, work, and walk my dog. So it ends here. Which of your favorite "sweet" fics did I miss? Reblog and share links in the comments to give them a shout out. I love getting new recs.
I'll be back next Friday with more great Good Omens fan fics on a new theme. In the meantime, check out my other favorite fics on this pinned post of weekly Good Omens fan fiction recommendations. And if my faves appear to be your faves, check out my bookmarks on AO3--all the fics I rate in my top 10% of everything I've read.
Don't forget to nurture the fan fic community. Share kudos and comments to show the many wonderful creators how much we appreciate them. Writing is a lonely hobby. Let's encourage the hard working writers we love so much.

WIP Wednesday - 7/16/2025 (Of Cats and Other Omens by @raxacoricofallapatoriusrulez
Tumblr media
Tattoo artist Crowley doesn't know what to make of the sunshine-y bookseller across the street. But when his cat Bowie needs emergency help in the wee hours, he calls on the only cat lover he knows, Aziraphale. Learning about Crowley as an artist is a splendid aspect of this story. I love how the writer shows the similarities between the cats and their people. And Rax has inspiration at home for the cat depictions. This WIP is low risk for not getting your fix. The writer updates regularly. I adore this story and highly recommend it. Read the writer's summary below. And if you visit, please remember to leave kudos and comments. We get so many great stories from amazing fic writers. Please show them how much we appreciate their efforts. Of Cats and Other Omens (53879 words) by Raxacoricofallapatoriusrulez Chapters: 12/? Fandom: Good Omens (TV), Good Omens - Terry Pratchett Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens), Beelzebub & Crowley (Good Omens), Bowie & Jane Characters: Crowley (Good Omens), Beelzebub (Good Omens), Aziraphale (Good Omens), Nina (Good Omens), Maggie (Good Omens), Anathema Device, Agnes Nutter, Newton Pulsifer, Bowie - Character, Jane Austen Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Tattoo Parlor, Alternate Universe - Human, Meet-Cute, cat omens, Whickber Street (Good Omens), Crowley Has Religious Trauma (Good Omens), Tattoo Artist Crowley (Good Omens), Artist Crowley (Good Omens), Plant Dad Crowley, Bookshop Owner Aziraphale (Good Omens), Yellow Bentley, Enemies to Lovers, Found Family, Hurt/Comfort, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Pets, injured pet, Injury Recovery Summary: A queer, cat-assisted enemies-to-lovers slow burn Crowley has everything just the way he likes it: a blackout-curtained tattoo studio, a deeply mistrustful ex-street cat named Bowie, and a permanent scowl for the rest of the street. He didn’t claw his way into stability just to start chatting with the locals. Especially not the ones with posh accents and fluffy cats. Aziraphale Fell has just moved into the flat above his dream bookshop—funded by a modest bit of family money, a great deal of optimism, and accompanied by Jane, his snow-white, velvet-pawed companion. The shop isn’t open yet, but he’s already noticed the tattoo artist across the road, all dark sunglasses and defensive posture. They have nothing in common. And no intention of really speaking to each other. Until the night Bowie is hit by a car. Crowley, panicked and barefoot, ends up banging on Aziraphale’s door in search of a pet carrier—and somehow finds himself in the passenger seat of a vintage yellow car, white-knuckled and terrified, while Aziraphale drives them both across town to the emergency vet. Updates Monday and Friday

My cat Hannibal: the little idiot, the myth, the lampshade
You know how some people have cats that are like… mysterious, elegant creatures of the night?
Yeah, no. I have Hannibal.
Hannibal is… an experience.
Tumblr media
(This is him. Yes, he has an emotional support lizard 🦎.)
He is the inspiration for my cat OC, Bowie, who defies the laws of nature, gravity, and common sense. As he is currently wearing a cone in my story Of Cats and Other Omens I wanted to address some things. Let me tell you, that’s not fiction. That’s autobiography.
Hannibal’s defining personality trait? Unclear allergy.
We’re 9 years in and still have no clue what he’s allergic to. Grass? Air? God? The concept of peace? WHO KNOWS.
Tumblr media
This means he gets to cosplay as a lamp once a year for 2–4 weeks.
And I don’t mean he tolerates the cone. No. This man THRIVES in it (while defying all the rules).
Tumblr media
You have never seen joy until you’ve witnessed a cat sprint full speed, cone on, SLAM into a doorway, bounce off like a pinball, and keep running like nothing happened.
He climbs furniture in it. Jumps. Spins. Uses it as an air brake.
Tumblr media
Early on he just accepted his fate and said, “Fine. I am the lampshade now.”
Tumblr media
And honestly? Inspirational.
Other hobbies include:
Getting spun on the office chair like a tiny, furry carnival ride and looking absolutely thrilled about it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Forgetting to retract his tongue so he just walks around looking like he’s buffering
Sitting in his catio, cone catching all the acoustics, SCREAMING about the injustice of the world (aka, I didn’t feed him for the fourth time that hour)
Tumblr media
Sitting with the posture of a middle-aged man who just got home from a 12-hour shift and is demanding a beer and the remote. Bonus if his tongue is out
Tumblr media
He is my favorite little idiot.
He has the brain cell. Sometimes.
And I wouldn’t change a single thing about him.

Reflections on HIA (Highly Inappropriate Affection)
Today you’ll just get two reflections for the price of one 🤣.
I absolutely did not mean to write this fic. It is one of these silly little one-shots that just hit you in the face when you’re running around the real world 😅.
One minute I was at a local rugby match, sitting in a cider-drenched section full of strangers heckling the ref with the kind of poetic vulgarity that deserves to be archived, and the next, there was Crowley. In my head. Sunglasses and all. Velvet blazer. Kicking his boots up in the stands and causing low-level chaos like it was his divine purpose.
Tumblr media
The idea hit fast: Crowley doesn’t love rugby. He loves Aziraphale. And Aziraphale, somehow, is ridiculously hot in a rugby kit. Thus: chaos in the stands, reverence on the field, and one very soft domestic evening after. That was the seed. The rest bloomed almost on its own.
Highly Inappropriate Affection became a story about love after survival — not the falling part, but the living. The knowing. The being known. It’s messy and funny and kind of feral (just like Crowley), but also full of that steady, grounded affection that grows from a relationship you fought to keep. It’s a fic about ridiculous banter, cider-fueled bonding, and the quiet power of seeing your person be magnificent—and knowing you get to go home with them.
And honestly? This fic is a love letter to A Healing Touch by Crowley_Kitten — a story that’s stayed with me in the marrow-deep way only the most honest writing can. I’ve reread it more times than I can count. It’s one of my all-time favourites, full stop. There’s something about the way it doesn’t flinch — how it leans into the pain, the mess, the long road back to something like safety — that makes every soft moment feel hard-won and sacred. Highly Inappropriate Affection was born from that feeling: from the deep ache and the brighter day after. This is my thank you to that fic. A small echo of everything it stirred in me. A hug in story form, for anyone who’s had to crawl their way toward joy and found love waiting at the end.
So thank you for reading.
Thank you for letting me share this little slice of absurd, glorious peace.
I hope it made you laugh. I hope it made you feel held. I hope it reminded you that softness doesn’t mean weakness—and joy can be revolutionary, too.

Reflections on Sunshine & Thorns
Some not quite related remarks first:
It has been a bit since I posted the last reflection on my finished work… I’m sorry for not keeping my word there, I had to prioritise a bit. As you might have seen my head start on my fics has melted quite a bit. At the same time I had quite a few real life commitments and my theses.
I’m currently on the point where I will cut down a bit on getting new stories up. As I posted today I finished my absolute massive Til Debt Do Us Part which comprises of over 800 pages and over 270,000 words. Over the next two weeks I will mostly get a head start on my ongoing stories. I have about three months left of my study time, while I do have to work on my theses in that period it’s also the most free time I’ll have for the next 1,5 years. So I don’t want to start uploading new stories if I can’t deliver on the updates. I think starting September I’ll only post stories that are already completed or only update once a week.
So on to Sunshine & Thorns.
Content warning: this post discusses themes of abuse (sexual and emotional), trauma, and recovery. Please read with care.
Tumblr media
There are stories that take root quietly. Others arrive like a storm. Sunshine and Thorns, my Good Omens human AU, began somewhere in the middle: a fragile sprout in the dark, unsure if it could bloom. What grew from it turned out to be one of the most emotionally challenging—and necessary—pieces I’ve ever written.
At its heart, Sunshine and Thorns is about survival, the language of healing, and the ways we communicate even when words fail. The fic centers on Aziraphale, a once-celebrated writer whose voice is stifled under the controlling and abusive hand of his long-time partner, Gabriel. Over the years, Aziraphale’s world shrinks. His writing, once his joy and freedom, becomes another thing Gabriel takes from him. The light goes out—until a small, stubborn flicker remains in the form of fanfiction he continues to post in secret.
Tumblr media
Then there’s Crowley: the sarcastic, guarded owner of a flower shop. He sees Aziraphale not as the persona Gabriel wants to shape, but as someone fading, someone still beautiful and aching beneath the surface. And through flowers—their silent meanings and the care it takes to choose them—he tries to speak. To say, “I see you. You deserve more.”
The story deals frankly with graphic emotional and sexual abuse, which made writing it a slow, deliberate process. I wanted to treat Aziraphale’s journey with care—never to sensationalize trauma, but to let his pain be seen, and more importantly, his recovery. This isn’t a rescue fantasy. Crowley doesn’t swoop in to fix everything. If anything, his love is messy, patient, flawed. Their relationship doesn’t begin with a fairy tale—it’s born from a moment of crisis, and what comes after is far from simple.
Tumblr media
One of the most important arcs is Aziraphale reclaiming his voice, not only as a writer but as a person. Facing Gabriel in court becomes a turning point—harrowing, but necessary. Crowley’s unexpected confession of love, under oath, is the opposite of perfect. It’s raw. Human. Real. And maybe that’s the only kind of love Aziraphale can trust again: not performative, not idealized, but honest.
The language of flowers became a second voice in the fic—each floral choice painstakingly researched to reflect emotion, regret, hope. It was a beautiful challenge, and it added layers of meaning even Crowley couldn’t say aloud. Writing these moments taught me how much we rely on symbols when words become too heavy to carry.
One of the bookmarks says “you need to be in a safe place to read this,” and I couldn’t agree more. This fic asks you to sit with discomfort. To witness pain. But also to believe in growth—not instant, not perfect, but possible.
Tumblr media
I didn’t write Sunshine and Thorns to create a tidy romance. I wrote it to show that even in the ruins, love can take root—but healing must come first. For Aziraphale, that means writing again. Choosing for himself. Learning what safety and affection look like, on his terms.
It’s a story that refuses the myth of the “magic happy ending”—but embraces the power of earned happiness, of starting over, of slow, blooming hope.
💐
If you’re in a safe place and feel ready, I hope Sunshine and Thorns resonates. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too. These stories matter most when they meet you where you are.

Good Omens Fanfic Recs - part 1# June 2025 🥳🩷
Multichapterfics
87] Mistakes were made (T) by @vampiremama
Set after S2, Aziraphale finds himself in heaven, loathing the bright whiteness. When he is tasked with the preparation of the second-coming he realises he needs help. Well, Crowley is still very hurt, but he won't let earth go to waste because of that. So they work together - again.
88] Tether (E) by @gingiekittycat
Set after S2, Aziraphale is up in heaven doing his duties as the new supreme archangel, when he suddenly finds himself sitting in the Bentley, next to a deeply hurt Crowley. Has he been summoned? But Crowley obviously doesn't even want him to be there? At least not this time. But it keeps happening and soon, things start to heaten up. They need to find out, why this keeps happening. 🌶️🤨
Now this fic may present itself as mostly smut, but it has quite a bit of an angsty undercurrent and leans more on the serious and sad (to me) tone of writing. You will find no banter here, but besides very hot scenes a really good plot and a totally new view on Crowley's fall. I had to head over to AO3 and subscribe to the author immediately.
89] Cinders bound by golden crown (E) by @ajconstantine
Human AU/Omegaverse: Crowley is a born omega and beloved to his father. When he remarries, the new stepmother and stepsiblings seem distant. But when his father dies a few years later - Crowley finds himself reduced to the lowest servant in the house. Meanwhile Prince Aziraphale, a born alpha, is forced to marry for the sake of the kingdom and is set to at least chose his partner himself. So there will be 3 balls ... And no, there is no fairy, but a very caring Anathema helping out. 🤴🫶
A retell of Cinderella set in the Omegaverse, though there is no knotting and rutting but there is male pregnancy and Crowley suffers heavy physical abuse before he finds his angel. So do mind the tags!
90] Unter the Samhain Sky (T) by @avoicebehindthestars
Set in pre-Christian Ireland, Aziraphale realises that 1 night each year, heaven has to close for maintainance. He chooses to stay on earth, unable to draw from his angelic powers. Soon he finds himself in dire need of help - until the Serpent of Eden comes to his rescue. 🩷
A beautiful story of our beloved angels in a time, when their ways of dealing with each other still were so new somehow and yet already the same. Like a peak in the past! 🫶
91] But I only just got you, You Can't leave (E) by @matsukitty
Ok please listen to me. There is a reason why I am addressing you before the short summary. This is probably the darkest story I ever read and I read a lot. There is non-con, rape and a lot of physical violence and torture in this fic, everything addressed to Aziraphale. Please read the tags and be careful with yourself. I downloaded this story months ago and just plunged in without regards to the tags ... And then it was like a train wreckage, where you just can't stop watching. I needed to finish the story just to know it would be ok. In hindsight I should have skipped the violent parts. So if you are not into heavy violence, this fic is probably not for you. The story does have a happy ending and sometimes uses well known characters and phrases in a different and interesting way.
That said, this story is about Aziraphale, who is a young prostitute. Crowley is in his mid twenties, married to Muriel and a closeted gay. When he meets Aziraphale, he is done for. Sadly, he is not the only one. Gabriel, chief of police, decides he needs Aziraphale for himself. So he sets up a scheme to kidnap the man to make him his sex slave. Things deterior quickly.
92] And now all of my garden is grown in lavender (E) by @ilikeblue
Aziraphale is a famous author of gay love novels and moves into his inherited cottage. Crowley is the local gardener and soon a friendship develops. Yes, friendship - pining is the keyword here. That is, until Aziraphale is invited into a TV-show for promotion. There he is confronted with pictures of him and Crowley ... 😅
I really needed a feelgood-story after the last one, so I went and reread this one. And I have to admit, though I already liked it the first time, the second time was even better. So many good dialogues, super plot, just a real nice story perfect for summertime.
Tumblr media
Oneshots
93] Covet (M) by @anonymous
Aziraphale wonders, how long he has been wanting Crowley. 🩷
If you want to listen to this one, there is a podfic available by FayJay!
94] The colour beige given corporal form (E) by @harlotofgod
Human AU, in which Aziraphale and Crowley share a flat. One day Aziraphale comes home to find Crowley in a ... quite compromising ... situation. Can he help? Yes he can. 😁
95] Where you tend a rose (E) by @depraveddame
Crowley hurts himself accidentally when tending to the roses of their cottage. Aziraphale tends to him, Crowley is doing very well ... And even better, after Aziraphale starts telling him, what a good boy he is. 😉🌶️🌶️🌶️
96] Carpet diem (M) by @dragonfire42
A few days ago, Crowley gave Mr. Brown his business card. Now Mr. Brown messages him ... to sell him a carpet. But is he ... ? 😁🤦‍♀️
97] Don´t fall away from me (E) by @cassioh and @ilikeblue
Set after S2, Crowley wallows ... in self-pity and alcohol on a certain couch in a certain shop. When Nina sets his head straigt, he decides so stretch his wings and go for a fly. Except - he isn´t alone in the sky ... A meeting above the clouds where they finally talk. And more. 😉
Hope you enjoy the list, pls share the love with kudos, comments and shares! 🤗
Follow along for short summaries and recs on the books i read🩷 The numbers are for funsies - i want to count my reads throughout 2025.
I only read finished stories and one-shots. You will find no WIPs in here. Also you will only find happy or at least hopeful endings here - i couldn´t handle anything else.
Also i try to find every author here on tumblr to link-to, but some times i am out of luck. If you happen to know them, please tell them, write to me in the comments or DM me and i will update the post!

Hey, I know everything sucks ABSOLUTE ASS right now, (although, I'd honestly prefer sucking ass to this) but please know that there are still good people in the world. I'm not great with words, and I dont know how good I am at making people feel better, but just know there ARE people out there who love you and support you, even if you dont know them.
also, if there are other flags that were not included in this post, please reblog or comment with the flag you'd want and I'll happily make one and tag you in the post! It literally takes 5 seconds, so I'd be more than happy to!
anyways, we will be okay, and just know that I am so proud of you for still going ❤️

We'll be okay.

Reflections on Writing Ink and Ashes
I began Ink and Ashes thinking Aziraphale would leave academia entirely. That he would finally shake off the dust of expectations and walk away from the life his family planned for him. But he didn’t. He stayed. Not as a professor teaching students, not exactly. He carved out a space for himself—small, quiet, meticulous. A life not made for prestige, but for care. And I let him.
Tumblr media
That was one of the first things this story taught me: sometimes your characters know themselves better than you do.
This is a story shaped by longing 🫣. By mismatched timing. By relationships that aren’t cruel, but still wrong in subtle, aching ways. People reaching for each other across misunderstandings, unsure how to bridge the gap without losing something essential. Aziraphale and Crowley, in particular, spend a long time not saying the things they should 😅. Not because they don’t care, but because it’s terrifying to speak aloud what you most want.

And oh, the pining 😏. The silence. The things left unsaid like offerings on a table neither of them is ready to sit at. I’ve always loved that kind of emotional geometry—the way hearts can miss each other by inches, and still carry the weight of it for years.
I’m also a complete and unapologetic fool for the South Downs 😌. For soft landings. For disgustingly fluffy endings earned not by perfection, but persistence. I didn’t want this story to end in tragedy or even high drama. I wanted something quieter: a life that feels like breath returning to the body. A home found in a person, not a place. A hand held, finally, without fear of being let go.

The story brushes against Aziraphale’s family, yes—but it doesn’t live for their resolution. That peace isn’t required. He doesn’t need to be accepted by them to be whole. He doesn’t need to be forgiven, or to forgive. Some things are better acknowledged and left behind. The meeting with Gabriel at the end was important to me, but I didn’t want it to be overly emotional or redemptive. Just… honest. Just what it needed to be. Nothing more.
So much of this story lives in the quiet 😌. The slow choices. The tentative hope. I think there’s power in that kind of softness. I hope it finds the readers who need it.
If this sounds like something that might speak to you—or if you just want a story full of longing, soft endings, and the quiet work of choosing your own life—you can read it here:

I swear the Good Omens fandom is made up of the kindest, coolest, creative, most wonderful people. I can't really think of a time I've come across a shitty Good Omens fan. The artists? Forget about it. Frickin' aMaZiNg artists, the lot of you. And I never read fanfic until Good Omens. Ok, that's not true. I stumbled across a freaky deaky Freddy Krueger fanfic once. I didn't read fanfic again until Good Omens and that's when I got into it. Y'all are a bunch of gifted wordsmiths. And the fellow Good Omens fans I've been lucky enough to meet IRL have all been lovely. Good Omens fans are badass. Just saying.
Me looking at all of you:
