And yes, that’s a chestburster. Coming out of Ridley! A Ridley Xenomorph! A creature I will be calling the Zebesomorph, since Ridley’s species was originally explained as the native species of Zebes. So, get ready for that! But how?! When and how did he get facehugged? Why was there a Metroid in the Power Core? How did it get here? Are there more Xenomorphs??? All that AND MUCH more in the following issues!

Surprise! And then surprise again! Next, in the final part of chapter one: SAMUS VS RIDLEY! … and the biggest surprise EVER! Ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration—BUT MEBBE IT AIN’T!

Edit: page 21 has been added to this post in the interest of artistic cohesion. It was originally intended for Part 8, which was supposed to be four pages unlike the other parts, which are all three. I wanted to make Part 7 shorter for the pacing and to serve the reveals. Making them the climax of the piece. The last four pages were going to encompass the confrontation and end of chapter one, starting with page 21. However, after drawing the next pages—artistically, aesthetically, it just didn’t work. I do kiiiinda feel like it kills the reveals of both the Metroid and Ridley but Samus’s counterattack certainly fits with this part more than the next. Anyway. Does anyone want more breakdowns of the process like this? I do a ton on Patreon, but does anyone want to see them here?
