I love rewatching old shows after my nana tells me that my cartoons are trying to "influence children" with their messages of acceptance. Because every old cartoon I've watched (carebears, mlp, sesame street, blue's clues) all have a message about accepting and loving the people around you as they are. Even if they're different from you.

No nana,cartoons didn't change. You just became the opposite of what they were trying to teach you to be.
