They're finally here!
Tumblr media
Today books 4-8 finally arrived and I immediately started reading (as you can tell by the bookmark and post-its in the top-right one).
I'm only 3 chapters in and it's already so good 馃槏

I feel like I'm starting to lose my mind because I can't continue reading Alea Aquarius. Book #3 ended in a super mean way with many questions unanswered. And my order of books 4-8 is delayed. I expected to be able to continue yesterday but now I've got to wait until at least tomorrow. Today this thing that I call "stabbing sensation" and can't properly describe what it feels like started. The only times that happens is in relation to fangirl stuff and my feelings. Also, I accidentally spoiled myself and now I wanna know how it comes to that 馃槱

I haven't read a physical, actually published book in a few months. But last week Spotify recommended me a podcast about a book series I started reading in 2017 but never finished, Alea Aquarius.
Tumblr media
The last book is releasing in September, so I thought now would be the perfect time to reread and then continue past where I stopped. I already finished books 1 and 2, so if you're interested, I'm currently writing the reviews to post them as soon as I can.

Hi visitor and welcome to my book and reading blog.
My name is Lara and I've loved books since long before I was able to read. A full post about myself will follow.
On this blog I'm planning to give you a metaphorical insight into my bookshelf. What I mean by that? Well, I want to keep you up to date about:
what I'm reading
the number of books I've read since the year started
overviews of the past month
new books, always with a look at those still to be read
fanfic recommendations
news about upcoming books and adaptations
comparisons between books and their adaptations
my favourite characters
my favourite books
my favourite authors
whatever else I feel like sharing
This list is far from complete. But for now this overview should suffice.
Disclaimer: Please note that while I'm open to take recommendations, it might be years before I read them, if I ever do. I also won't do general book news like for example everything a publisher is releasing in the following three months because I want to keep this consistent with my personal interests.
