Eddie Finch let himself go after his wife died and his home and his diner are about to fall to pieces. Even though his son Addam would like nothing more than a life out in the city, he can't bring himself to leave his father and the family business... and he also might have a bit of a crush on the new tenant who's renting out their second property on the lot.

While Addam wrestles with the decision to leave Willow Creek, Heather Mills, who rents out the second shotgun house, can't wait to get her life started - she just moved here and spend all of her money to make the house liveable again. Will she be able to start her new career as an artist in this town?

Even though the painting studio is confined to his living room for now, he dreams of his very own art exhibit in San Myshuno.

Their daughter Brianne has set her sights on another goal, though - while she now only sells her baking goods at the local market, she someday wants to own her very own bakery!
