Link’s rec is a song, Find Yourself, by Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real (Lukas Nelson is the son of Willie Nelson). The premise of the song is a lot like Link’s line, “you’re a sweet peach, know your worth.”

Rhett’s rec on episode 261 is a millennial classic: Hocus Pocus. If you have Disney+, it’s available to stream there.

Link’s rec in episode 260 is what he was originally going to recommend in the board game episode before...well. Yeah. 🤪

Rhett’s rec is very simple: make time for yourself. Isolate yourself with yourself. “You may not be in a position to travel right now...but there’s just something about giving yourself some space; releasing yourself of expectations, responsibilities, the need to accomplish something and just letting yourself off the hook and really spending some time just discovering yourself.”

Link’s rec in episode 258 is Zephaniah OHora--specifically this song, previously mentioned in a Society AMA. The artist reminds both the guys of Merle’s music so you know he’s a winner in their books.

Rhett’s rec in episode 257 is this absolutely incredible movie Palm Springs. Personally, I watched it a few months back when it was released and it’s a beautiful story. Only available on Hulu.

Rhett’s rec (and very much not Link’s rec) in episode 255 is a book he was reading at the time of recording the episode--How To Win Friends And Influence People.
🎶and isn’t it ironic...don’t you think?🎶

As you might be aware, there was no rec in episode 254 because our boys had a very serious discussion. That said, here’s a very important question:
What board game do you recommend?

Link’s rec in episode 253 is Spikeball. It’s like “a hula hoop with a net stretched over top of it” with “volleyball rules”. Also, Rhett would like tetherball to die.
I’m personally a fan of Calvinball to be honest.

Rhett’s rec in episode 252 is the film Just Mercy, which is based on a true story. (Side note, I have seen this movie and it is both haunting and powerful.) Link also mentioned The Hurricane as another excellent film to watch.

Link’s been reading Flea’s autobiography and is his rec in episode 251. It’s good toilet reading.

So, in episode 250, both Rhett and Link recommend bidets, Link ordered a portable bidet and Rhett rec’d it himself. Link talked up the Tushy specifically.
“So clean you feel it in your throat.” - Link’s testimonial
But seriously, if you don’t have a bidet, get one. It honestly is a game changer.

Link’s rec in episode 249 is Blue Diamond Habañero BBQ Bold almonds. Allegedly, they’re not actually hot, and they’re better than the Sriracha AND the salt and vinegar.

Rhett’s rec in episode 248 was A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. He watched it recently with the family and everybody cried. (Which makes sense because Mister Rogers is a certifiable kind-hearted legend.) It’s currently available on Starz.
Link had seen the documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor and that’s an incredible look at the life of Fred Rogers. (Listen, I’m going to hype literally anything that has to do with Fred Rogers. It’s in my blood.)
Bonus rec to watch Twister (CLASSIC), make out with your partner in between and then watch A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
