Um. I am on a Jeremy vs his last name kick so sorry in advance. Do u think Noah’s headstone (assuming he was buried) has wilshire on it instead of Knox. Do u think on top of everything else that twisted the knife just a bit more in jeremy’s chest

Yeah :(

Re Jeremy's family: it feels like Mathilda is one of those "a baby will fix this" people she just kept doing it

In my feels about Jeremy tonight… He really doesn’t have anyone in his family who has his back. We can talk about how Jean does and how Jean will be his family once they are married, but it never will take place that hole. Every family member Jeremy has doesn’t like him, they don’t have high hopes or expectations for him. They look down at him, they make him feel small, and that’s damaging.
So, he tries to be a good person. He is the captain of the Trojan’s Exy team. He does everything to make up for what happened in his Freshman year but none of it is enough. His family made him feel like a bad person, so he overcompensates to be better but none of it matters when they already have preconceived notions of him.
Jeremy puts so much onto himself but never offers himself the same. He will become weighed down more and more by his overcompensation. It even gets to a point where he might believe people like Jean will soon see the kind of “Soft spine failure” that he is. The thing is, I know Jean will show him that he’s not but I do think the damage is already so deep that Jeremy won’t be able to fully believe in it. A familial betrayal is already so painful and so awful that sometimes a partner isn’t always going to be enough. They can help, and they will help, but Jeremy needs a (better) professional to unwind some of this damage that his family caused.
#aftg#all for the game#jeremy knox#the sunshine court#the golden raven#jerejean#honestly I really do relate to Jeremy so much

Hunted it down 🫡
Then whyyy are people still calling him wilshire??? ANYWAY I know that realistically she probably remarried in his teens… but I like the idea of him being small (eight or nine years old).. timeline wise, it wouldn’t work though unfortunately… considering the youngest would be like 3-4 years old.

I saw that post 🗣️ tell me more about kid Jeremy!!!
Jeremy gives bullied child vibes. ISTG he does.
Okay so this is going back to my ADHD Jeremy thing but also I really think Jeremy has always been a little on the feminine side, even as a child. What I mean by that, I really think he didn’t mind playing with dolls with the girls and he also didn’t mind playing with cars. He just liked playing toys with people, it didn’t matter if they were a boy or a girl.
Of course, this gets him bullied by the boys a lot of the time, so he tries playing with the boys but they ignore him by never passing the ball or choosing him for dodgeball (being the last one chosen). Everyone thought he was weird because (and you guessed it) he loved collecting bugs and had a hyper fixation on them. They just thought he was a weird kid.
One time, one of the boys invited him to a birthday party and then locked him in the closet, which is the reason why he’s so afraid of the dark (This is another one of my headscanons). It didn’t help that Bryson would tease him relentlessly “You’re afraid of the dark? What are you, a girl?” (Yes yes.. a lot of this is misogynistic. You have to realize this was in the 80s/90s… DONT CANCEL ME)
When his mom married Warren, he struggled to transition which would piss off Warren. If he does of ADHD, I think it could explain because people with ADHD do not transition well. One day, his mom tells him that his new name is Jeremy Wilshire which didn’t make sense to him because… he’s a Knox. He has a dad. His dad isn’t there often, but he has one that isn’t Warren. So why use Warren’s name when he’s Trent’s son? He told his mom no, but they didn’t really care and changed it anyway
He started Exy and couldn’t choose a position, which was fine. They started him with goalie but he got his with the ball too many times and it overwhelmed him. So then he tried backliner but he was too small and was easily checked (I’m a huge supporter of small Jeremy.. NOT TWINK.. just small). He then tried Striker and he loved it so so much. The coach asked if he would like to try Dealer, and he did but he kept scoring the ball instead of passing it so it was so obvious he was a striker.
EVEN THEN, the boys on his exy team made fun of him. His name was wilshire on his jersey but he was adamant that he was a Knox. They teased him for not having a dad all the time. He always said “I do have a dad! He’s in Arizona right now” but they didn’t care.
#Im confused… Is he legally a wilshire#or did his name change to wilshire then he changed it back?#I feel like he’s still legally a wilshire#Considering agent brown called him that??#Like if they searched up his name#they would have seen Jeremy Knox#He wouldnt call him wilshire otherwise#aftg#all for the game#jeremy knox#the sunshine court#the golden raven#jerejean

Im not gonna lie… i wrote this right before I drove off from the park I was at… THIS IS CUTER THAN I THOUGHT WTF?
The teacher is calling out names for roll call. She goes down the list in order of last name. She surpasses the K’s and the M’s and finally get to the W’s. “Jeremy Wilshire?” No one answers. “Jeremy Wilshire?… guess he’s not here?” It’s the first day of school, who wouldn’t let their child be here the first day?
Seats shuffled in the back and a small kid with bright brown eyes and freckles all over his face stood up. He’s frowning unnaturally and his face is red. “I’m Jeremy Knox… I’m not a Wilshire.” The teacher cocked his head to the side. “Wilshire is not my real name. My dad is Trent Knox.” Jeremy’s frowned deepened when the other kids laughed at him.
The teacher recalled his mom telling her that she recently married and that Jeremy was still adjusting to the Wilshire name. She didn’t understand why anyone would ever suddenly change their kid’s last name like that, especially an 8 year old. So the teacher nodded, “I’m sorry Jeremy Knox. Here, I’ll change it now and make you a new card during recess. How about that?” Jeremy eyes brightened and he smiled largely. And that’s when the teacher knew she had a special kid in her class
#Go me ig??#It was rushed#ALSO he makes me so sad :( :( :(#self reblog#Jeremy Knox#baby Jeremy Knox#aftg#all for the game
