I've been exercising regularly and having a healthy diet, but I have trouble with snacking, any tips on how to resist?
You should eat small meals every 2-3 or 4 hours, so you can snack, I mean, that’s why snacks are made of. Just choose healthy snacks:

Making the right choices.
If there’s one thing I quickly learnt whilst starting out on this WOE, it’s that what you choose to make up your 500 calories can make all the difference in managing it and failing.
The trick seems to be in eating lots of protein with small amounts of carbohydrate where possible. Ie: rice cakes and ham, soup made with lots of veg and small amounts of potatoes.
Today my kale soup at lunch and corned beef hash dinner filled me up well and truly. Adding half a cup of tea that I half managed to snag this morning at the office I have only used 370 calories and I am very content. I may have an actual proper cup of tea this evening if I get desperate but we shall see!

Aloha 5:2ers!!
I started a new job today working 8am - 5pm in London’s Regent Street. I thought I was going to severely struggle with my fast as I had to be up at 6am!
Here is my lovely lunch today! After a recent weekend away with friends during a fast I was introduced to Pret foods (properly) for the first time. They do a different ‘healthy’ soup each day every week and was a life saver for me today. This devil came in at 122 cals and was huuuge and the kale really filled me up. I at this as my first meal - bar half a cup of tea at 8am - at 1.30pm.
I’ve got a recipe from one of my 5:2 recipe books tonight so I will post a photo and the recipe in a while :)

Lemons have many many benefits when consumed. I've started squeezing half a lemon into water and drinking it every morning and every evening! Check out the link for an interesting read :) X

I MESSED UP. So by the end of last week fasting Monday & Wednesday I lost another 2lbs bringing my weight to 9stone 11lbs. Excitedly I jumped up and down and spent Saturday morning introducing my friend Laura to my kettle bell workout DVD with my 'mate' Bob Harper. In which I think I nearly killed her but she did incredibly well for her first time! We then took my dog for an hours walk so that we didn't seize up for our Girls Night Out with out friends. Something to consider - I've always prided myself (as a teen) in my drinking abilities. Turns out that when decreasing body mass, you should also consider that your alcohol tolerance has probably decreased too. Hindsight is a wonderful thing... The long and short of it is that a large bottle of kopperberg, 3 double So'Co & lemonades, 3 vodka lemonades and a jäger bomb is now WAY too much for me. I got over excited and got very drunk. Silly girl. Can anyone see where I may have put that 2lbs back on at all? *face palm*. Lesson safely learnt, I am back on with my 5:2 this week. Today I've had a Activia Breakfast Pot 190 cals which I consumed at around 2.30pm and dinner tonight will be posted later :) More from me shortly! X
