quick A/N for my followers! i’ve had the worst writers block for months but im hoping i can continue & finish this mini series soon!

ayato

ayato was taken aback by what you had said. his first words were “Pardon?” which made you spiral. though the two of you were flirtatious, you never knew if it was just friendly banter or anything serious. ayato was and always has been flirty towards you which often led you to have mixed signals and you were tired of it! maybe the way you went about it wasn’t the best idea but it was an idea!

you quickly say it was a joke, and that you just wanted to see his reaction after getting a little embarrassed over him not seeming to have reciprocated your feelings. he simply responds with a little “:(“ before you quickly throw your phone at a wall and start quietly screaming over what he meant. you pick your phone back up to see another message from him.

“I didn’t expect you to say such a thing, y/n. if you wanted to ‘see my reaction’ then i would’ve gladly expected your invitation. now will you reconsider it being a ‘joke’?” you threw your phone and once again screamed harder into your pillow. was this really happening? you had to pinch yourself to make sure you weren’t dreaming. yup. you surely weren’t after how hard you pinched yourself, you even left a little bruise. you gathered up all your courage to send a message back. a quick, straight to the point, response.

except you didn’t know how to entirely convey how you truly felt. you thought the easiest way to respond was to just spill your guts. so you gave it your all and told him everything. you told him how you could never tell if the flirtatious banter had real meaning behind it and how you wished he’d see you the way you see him. you send the text, not even looking to see if you made any grammatical errors, and throw your phone anxiously waiting for him to respond.

when you originally send the text to childe, you thought he’d take it as a joke. a part of you was waiting for him to just laugh at you and go back to your old conversation. so it was a shock to you when he sent a text saying “are you serious? this doesn’t sound like you, y/n?”

“lol, what do you mean? of course i’m serious..” you reply back trying to get his authentic response back.

“y/n are you drunk? what do you mean you want to be ‘flings’? do you even know what that is?” he responds frantically. “is someone there with you? are you being held captive? do you need me to come help you?”

“childe, i’m not being held captive. you don’t have to come rescue me. i was just curious about having a friends with benefits relationship. i wanted to ask you since i feel like we had good chemistry but if you don’t feel the same that’s completely fine, i’ll find someone else.” you thought you’d had possibly hit a subject that even childe thought was outrageous, something so unlike you it made him a little stunned.

“wait!” you see a message appear just as you set your phone down. “don’t look for someone else! if you want a friends with benefits please don’t looks for someone else.” you were a little stunned by childes new messages, you thought he was looking almost down at you for even suggesting such a thing and now he’s telling you not to look for someone to do just that? “what do you mean, childe?” you send a quick message back, ready for the worst.

you take a deep breath as you send a message to childe, short and straight to the point. “listen, childe. i actually asked you to be friends with benefits because i’ve actually liked you for a really long time now.” you send it and anxiously wait for childe’s response.

you hear a buzz as you check your phone. sure enough, it was childe. “i didn’t know you felt that way, y/n. i’m honored, maybe we should talk about this more in person however. i’d hate to start a relationship over text. :)”

bonus : you and childe agree to meet, childe offers to take you out to dinner and go for a walk on the beach afterwards. while on a walk at beach, you feel childe stop behind you, you turn to look at him in the dimly night sky as his eyes gaze upon you. “y/n, now that we’re here in person i’d like to formally ask you this.” childe takes out a small bouquet of flowers from behind his back, “will you be my partner, y/n?”

at first he thought you were joking. he completely laughs in your face, unaware that this would be something you’d actually want.

“you’re funny, y/n.” he says with a chuckle, ignoring you and going back to his work. after he realizes you’re serious, he looks up at you examining your expression.

“you’re serious?” he asks, still examining you. you nod at him and he continues. “we’ll, I’m not opposed to that idea. I never thought you’d be the type to ask something like that, though. so tell me, what’s your motive?”

you stare at him shyly, not knowing what to say. you couldn’t just tell him you had a crush on him this whole time and that you only want to hook up because you’re too scared to get rejected by him.

he notices your long pause and continues, trying to tease you. “don’t tell me you have a crush on me~”

you stiffen. you know he’s teasing you yet the thought that he may or may not know is eating you up inside. you’re unable to speak, your cheeks turn a light pink.

“is that the case?” he asks you firmly, trying to read your face before continuing.

you weakly nod and wait for his reaction. he closes his eyes, thinking for a moment.

you two smile at each other before setting up dinner plans for later that evening. you feel so happy you could die!

“no.” he says seconds after you ask him, completely crushing you.

“wait-“ he pauses, “don’t ask anyone else, though.”

“I won’t, I only wanted to do it with you” you’re immediately shocked that you’d even confess something like that to kazuha of all people. you cover your mouth, turning away from him to hide your embarrassment.

he turns his head, confused at you. “what do you mean, Y/N? why only with me?”

you take a deep breath before speaking. “I like you kazuha, I’ve liked you for a while now. I didn’t know how to tell you so I thought maybe I would just ask if you’d want to hook up and maybe something will happen out of that..” you were rambling at this point.

he silently nods while listening to you, his expression not changing once. when you finish talking, he smiles at you. “you should’ve said that from the beginning. I don’t do those ‘flings’ but I’d be more than happy to take you out for dinner and see where things go from there.” his smile is warm and genuine. he gently pats your head before he speaks again. “are you free this weekend? I know a spot.”

Scaramouche

he drops what he’s doing and gives you a death stare, sending shivers down your spine. “excuse me?”

you flinch a little at his words, not knowing what else to say. “repeat yourself.” he says firmly. you tell him again, in a smaller voice.

“I thought that was what you said.” he said with a sigh. “what’s your reasoning? you’re not the type that usually asks me for such a.. request.” he looks you up at down trying to read you.

“well.. I just.. I like you.” you say shyly, almost scared.

“what?” he stares at you again, but he stares at you a lot softer.

“I like you, I’ve been trying to confess to you for a while now but you just never got the hits.. I know you hook up with people casually so I thought maybe I could try that route instead.” you go on, rambling.

“stop.” he says, and you tighten up. “you like me?” he asks. you shyly nod. “are you sure?” he says, more so asking himself.

“of course I’m sure!” you say, wondering why he would even ask that. he takes a moment to process everything.

“I like you too.” he says, now shyly. “I didn’t think you’d like someone like.. someone like me.” he says.

you chuckle, “of course you’d say that! you’re far more than just your title and your past, scara. I want to get to know every side of you.”

he shyly moves closer to you, holding your hands, looking at them. “thank you.” he says before he looks up at you and smiles.

Venti

venti giggles at you, shaking his head. “oh Y/N, I know you’re way too innocent to ever want to have a ‘fling’ with someone randomly.” he holds your hand, looking into your eyes. “so, why all of a sudden have you asked for such a thing?”

venti was so good at reading you he knew, he didn’t even have to look at you to know this isn’t the type of thing you’d ever do. you felt like you had no choice but to be honest with him. making up a lie wouldn’t help this situation.

you take a deep breath, “venti, I have a crush on you.” you look at him, waiting for a response before continuing.

he nods, waiting for you to keep talking, so you do. “I didn’t know how to bring it up, I thought this would be the best way to ease my way in..”

he sighs, placing his hand on your shoulder. “oh Y/N. you should’ve just told me, it would’ve been a lot less more embarrassing on your part and a lot easier.” he walks towards a tree, patting the ground next to him, hinting you sit next to him.

you take a seat next to him as he continues. “I have no clue why you decided to ask me that of all things, but I’m glad it wasn’t the reasons most people ask others for such a thing.” he smiles at you, holding your hand. “with that being said, I like you too. I don’t know when I started liking you, but I did and I still do. you amaze me everyday, even now. If I had to spend the rest of a lifetime with someone, you’d be my first choice.” he looks at you, waiting for you’re response now.

your cheeks turn a deep red shade. he chuckled at your reaction. he leans over saying “I hope we can be more than friends after this” before moving your head towards him, kissing you.

Xiao

xiao has no words, he just stares at you. dumbfounded. he couldn’t believe you had just said that, and he couldn’t believe he was blushing because you said that. he blinks before asking you “can you say that again? I don’t think I heard you right?”

you shyly nod, repeating the same request you had asked him just a couple seconds ago. he covers his mouth, looking around to see if anyone was around.

“why? who put you up to this?” he seems a bit angry, annoyed. he grabs your wrist, and takes you to a private area.

hes a bit stubborn so he takes things like this almost like a competition, he has to prove to you, and the world, that he is in fact a dom. it gets tiring at times but you laugh at it.

its an interesting dynamic, no one believes he’s the dom but as some would say “he has you wrapped around his fingers” and you honestly dont mind. hes sweet and compassionate when he needs to be, serious and stern when he needs to be as well.

venti is a bit of a wild card! he’s definitely a switch

i feel like venti is confident in certain aspects of the relationship and with other aspects he just lets you take control if youre more confident.

i feel like a relationship with venti would for sure be 50/50, probably the most balanced relationship but a bit of a hectic and chaotic one to be sure.

venti wouldnt necessarily know how to answer someone if they asked who wears the pants, hed probably say you just to throw them for a loop but you both know youre equals in this relationship.

“Luc!” You were ecstatic to hear your boyfriend coming home from work. You thought he was coming home earlier tonight but ended up staying at the tavern later than planned.

“Hi baby, I’m sorry I had to stay late. Did you eat already?” he says hugging and kissing you on the top of your head.

“I ate lunch but I havent eaten dinner yet. I was waiting for you, Luc.” you say letting him go as he takes off his coat and shoes.

“Hun, you should’ve ate earlier, I still have some work I have to do before I can end the night.” Diluc said in a sad tone.

“You should eat too though! You’ve had a long day at work and I understand you have to finish up some things for work but you should eat before you dive back into work Luc!” You say eagerly waiting for his response. Diluc told you he wouldn’t be able to make it back earlier today but you still wanted to wait for him and have dinner with him like you wanted. You weren’t gonna let him dive back into work that easily.

“Baby, I would love nothing more than to eat dinner with you but I should really get working.” He held your hands and kissed you once before embracing you in his arms. “You can bring some dinner upstairs though and we can eat in my office, would that make it up to you?” He said it so softly, it was for you and you only to hear. You were never a quiet kid but you also weren’t the loudest in the class. you were a good neutral, talked when you needed to, didn’t speak if it wasn’t necessary. it was very unusual for you to seek people out or even have an interest in anyone. People noticed you gazing at the upperclassman Xiao, they thought you were going insane or something. of all upperclassmen, you chose Xiao. Xiao was known around campus as the grumpy emo loner, to think you of all students would have a crush on him. now that, that’s a bizarre pair. You didn’t mind, however. if anything, it was comforting. he was like you, the younger you that you’ve been able to hide so well. you wanted to get to know him more, get to know his story more. you guys only had a class together and it was almost impossible to figure out where he hides out during lunch. but you were determined to figure out who he really is, figure out if you two can be friends.

The next few weeks seemed like heaven, Xiao was the sweetest boyfriend ever. he was very caring and generous, he worried for your safety, health, comfort and so much more. nothing much changed around ganyu though, you two weren’t too couple like around her, you two just remained being her best friend. it was nice, it was really nice to see Xiao lighten up a little. of course, people judged you two a bit, and asked why you would even like someone like xiao but you didn’t care. you were the happiest with xiao and ganyu’s undivided support was amazing. you enjoyed being with xiao and not having to choose between your best friend and boyfriend.

You met Dainsleif through the traveler, Dainsleif came off as cold hearted, he looked as if he were annoyed 24/7. However, the more you two adventured, the more he opened up. You came to realize he wasn’t as cold and mean as he seemed.

You two were like complete opposites though, he was closed off, cold, you were bright, open to everyone. You let everyone in, he was reserved. From an outsiders point of view, you two were total opposites.

You knew the truth, however. He was a softie, he cared for others so much, he observed people every chance he’d get. You were no different. The only difference is that you’d actually talk to said people, Dainsleif was always too afraid to talk to others. Dainsleif knew others looked at him weirdly so he never approached them.

You were different though, he felt safe with you. You were one of the few people he let in. You two grew close quickly, he didn’t understand his feelings but you did. You knew you liked him from the minute you saw him, he liked you from day one as well but he never knew. He never had such strong feelings before, he didn’t understand why he was so overprotective of you and not others like the traveler.

He told you about these feelings he had hoping you’d help him understand why he was acting this way and you just blushed. You couldn’t believe what he was saying, he liked you… the same way you liked him. You told Dainsleif what these romantic feelings were, he didn’t deny it. “Maybe I do want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you allow me to?”

His eagerness and willingness to want to be with you forever made you blush a bright pink. secretly, he loved seeing you be a blushing mess. you would shove your face into your hands or occasionally, which is his absolute favorite, you would shove your face into his chest. he loved being with you and seeing expressions only he could see. 

though you two liked each other the same way, you didn’t start dating immediately. You two took a bit more time to get to know each other aka Dain wanted to ask you out properly. It didnt take long though, took about two weeks.

You guys have been inseparable since, you two were always seen together and when you two weren’t, people questioned where the other was. You were his sunshine and he was your moonlight. You met Aether through the adventures guild, you were commissioned with him to show him into one of the caves he offered to help clear out. You were strong but he still wanted to make sure you were safe so he protected you.

You two were commissioned together a lot more often and became really good friends. Though he traveled all throughout tyvet, he always came back to mondstadt to see you and catch up with you. “You’ve gotten so much stronger since the last time we talked, Y/N!”

Soon, he changed. He started coming around less often, started ignoring your text and calls, you even asked around and people said he started looking grumpy. You went as far as to go to inazuma to see him.

When you got to inazuma, you saw him with other people such as Ayaka, Yoimiya, Ayato, Thoma, and Sayu. A part of you felt, jealous. You two weren’t exclusive but you thought he liked you. You watched them for a bit before his friends signaled to him saying someone was watching all of them, he turned around to see you, you couldn’t hide around the corner in time. He excused himself from them and went to you.

“What are you doing in inazuma, Y/N?” he didn’t even look happy to see you. it hurt. “I got worried so I came looking for you.” you said softly, waiting for him to tell you to return to mondstadt. he smiled and chuckled instead. “Sorry i haven’t been back in a while, i’ve been working for the Raiden Shogun for a bit here. I’m so glad you came, though it was most likely dangerous, I’m glad to see you here!” he gave you another smile. it looked so genuine. you couldn’t help but smile back.

He introduced you to his friends as his partner. HIS PARTNER! One of his friends looked disappointed, like she was saying “oh.. so you do have a partner..” But you were just over the moon hearing him call you his partner. Later on, you asked him about it. “Ah sorry, I guess I forgot to confess my love towards you when we talked earlier. I love you, Y/N, please go out with me!” he said it so calmly but you knew his heart was beating really fast. “Of course silly! I’d be honored to be your partner!”

You stayed in Inazuma for another week before returning, Aether escorted you and spent two days with you in your home. You knew he had to go back soon, though. It broke you, you felt like you just got him back and he was leaving already. “I’ll be back as soon as I can, I love you, I’ll text you every moment I get my love.” He kissed you both on your lips and forehead, and then went off. You both looked so sad without each other, or so that’s what everyone saw.

Soon though, things changed. Aether was good about texted you or letting you know before hand if he was gonna be busy. It stopped one day. You went back to the whole spamming him and asking if he was alright. No response from him. Spam calls, text, you even went as far as to call the adventures guild in inazuma to hear updates about him. You stopped one day, the day you realized it was over. You didn’t want to admit it because aether was so good to you before he left you again. There was no point, you were done, he was done, why drag it on?

“Aether, I don’t know what’s going on with you but i’m sorry. I cant do this anymore. You never return my calls, You never respond to my text. I don’t know why, but I’m tired of waiting for the answer. If you’re back in mondstadt, we can talk about it. Until then, I guess this is goodbye. Thank you for everything, I’ll always love you.” You sent the message with tears in your eyes and you deleted his number.

No response. Neither a phone call or text. “So it is over, huh.” Just as you said that, your door bell rang. You weren’t expecting anyone, who could it be. “Coming!” You open the door and your heart dropped. It was Aether, he… came back for you? No, stop it. He didn’t reply for a reason. It was over, Don’t go back to it.

“Im sorry.” Was his first words. He didn’t look at you the entire time though, he just looked at the ground. “I know I messed up, I’m not begging for you back either. I don’t think i’m good enough for that. I just hope you know I genuinely did love you and I still do. I hope you find someone who treats you the way you deserve to be treated.” And he left. He didn’t even let you reply. He just… left.

You stopped thinking about him, and then… a commission. “In Inazuma some chaos has occurred and apparently it’s Aether. Go check it out please, i’ve sent everyone else over there too. Now go.” You’ve never ran faster to your horse.

True enough, it was Aether. He wasn’t himself. he was… evil. What the hell happened to him. “We have to kill him before he kills everyone in Inazuma!” Someone screamed and everyone seemed to agree. You couldn’t breathe. Kill… Aether? how did it get like this… why did it get like this. Before you could think, he took off. Everyone ran after him trying to kill him. You stayed there shocked. Soon enough, you dragged yourself along with the crowd. One by one they fell. Every single one. Until it was you.

You coughed but you didn’t wanna seem weak. Suddenly, he snapped. He let go of your throat and put his hand in his hair, almost ripping it out. “Run, Y/N! I don’t want to hurt you.. please… you’re the only thing i’ve ever loved… RUN.” But you didn’t. You stayed. You hugged him. You cried. “I cant. I’m sorry Aether. Just kill me. Please. It reminded you of how much you loved him and reminded you you wouldn’t be able to live without him. You bleed out in his arms. The more blood, the more you started collapsing and falling onto him. You two were destined to destroy from the minute you two met. You two were chaotic and would give the traveler a headache anytime the two of you were commissioned with them. You two soon became the bestest of friends. The two of you were never meant to meet, you met by total coincidence, but it was the best mistake to have ever happened to the two of you. You gave him chaotic ideas to fuel his ever chaotic personality. You were more than happy being his partner in crime, being able to inspire him to be his inner chaotic self. A part of you was happy to be able to see a side of him no one else really saw, but soon it made you feel a weird way.

Tartaglia would give everyone the cold sholder and a death glare but you, he looked at you the same way he’d look at his siblings. It felt nice, it was warm, you felt special. You soon became doubtful, however, you werent sure if he did this on purpose or not, you were scared what made you feel so special meant nothing to him. You weren’t sure how he felt, but if he hadn’t felt the same way you have started to feel for him, you don’t know what you’d do. He never gave you any signs of wanting romance in his life, you didn’t even know if he was single or not. You hadn’t known anything when it came to romance and him. It made you wonder a bit.

“Childe, can I ask you a question?” “Shoot.” You two were sitting on the top of a hill in Liyue, you haven’t spoken to him in a month due to him being out working for the fatui. You had to get it out of him tonight, you had to ask if he felt the same way you did. “I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. I like you, Ajax. I don’t know how you feel about me but I just wanted you to know how I felt before you left for another commission out of Liyue.” You turned to look at him with a smile. “Y/N….” “It’s okay, I understand if you don’t feel the same way-“ “It’s not that. I do like you, I just don’t want to put your life in danger. My work is very dangerous and you… I don’t want anything to happen to you. I want to keep you safe.” “I know how to defend myself, Ajax. You don’t have to worry about me, I promise.” He was still worried and you knew he was, but he couldn’t help but smile. “Then, will you be my partner, Y/N?” “I thought you’d never ask.”

Ajax had another commission out of Liyue not long after you two started dating, it had barely been a week since he left and you already missed him. You’d usually sit on the same hill you confessed to him 2 or 3 nights a week, it was like your comfort place. Today was no different than those other days, you’d take your headphones and listen to music as you’d watch over the city of Liyue. You didn’t know when Ajax would be back but you couldn’t wait to be with him again. Suddenly, you felt a tap on your shoulder and when you turned around- “AJAX!” “Hi there lovely” you quickly got up to hug him, “I missed you, welcome back!” “I missed you too, I’m so glad to be back.” He kissed you, a genuine, loving, kiss.

Ajax didn’t go on commissions out of Liyue for a bit after that and it was wonderful. Having him around even if it was just at night meant the world to you. You two often spent your afternoons watching tv and cuddling up at home together. On weekends, you two would go visit his family every 2-3 months. Everything was going perfectly, he spoiled you like crazy and showed you off to everyone. He would sometimes slip and eve be call you his soon to be spouse. You thought everything was going perfectly, you two seemed so in love, you two were in love.

Like most lovely things, it came to an end. Ajax got commissioned out of Liyue more and more frequently and even with all the effort you put in, it wasn’t enough. You couldn’t get ahold of Ajax, you had no other option but to go find him. You knew it was dangerous, you vaguely knew the area he was commissioned to be in and you left not thinking clearly how badly it was going to be. You looked and looked for him, you couldn’t go back now, you were too far from home. There was no going back and you knew it, you had to figure out where Ajax has been one way or another. And soon enough you found your answer.

Ajax had gone completely insane, he went on a killing spree. This wasn’t the Ajax you knew, the Ajax you loved. Ajax was too far gone, you couldn’t recognize him and you doubt he could recognize himself. Even if you tried stopping him, he wouldn’t listen to you, you’d just end up being a sacrifice. At times like these, you wished he would’ve never gotten involved with the fatui, you wished he wouldn’t have to be apart of them, you wished he had it easier. Without thinking, you went up to him. “STOP. What is going on, what are you doing?” “You shouldn’t be here, Y/N.” His voice was empty, hallow. “This is why I haven’t been able to get a hold of you? What happened to us. What happened to you.” “This isn’t the time, Y/N. Get out of here before I-“ “BEFORE YOU WHAT? YOU KILL ME? IS THAT WHAT? DO IT THEN! KILL M-“ without being able to finish your sentence, you felt a sharp pain in your chest. “I’m sorry, Y/N, I promise you I am. I didn’t want to do this, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” Tears engulfed your eyes, the realization that your own lover just stabbed you started to set in. “Ajax…” you collapsed onto him bringing him down to the ground. Though he just stabbed you, he couldn’t let you fall to the floor like you were nothing.

as he starred into your teary eyes, he leaned over and kissed you. “I’m sorry it had to end this way…I love you.” Before dying, you saw him begin to cry. You held out your hand, it was too late. Your hand plopped onto his leg as you repeated back to him “I love you.”

after your death, Ajax was never able to find another lover. Your death left so much pain in his heart, he couldn’t find anyone to replace you. He didn’t want to replace you, he didn’t go a day without regretting his career choice. You both knew that this was bound to happen, you were waiting for the day to happen. He missed you everyday, he doesn’t live much longer after your death. He commits to the fatui until his final days. Even as he got stabbed and was left to bleed out, he felt so happy to be able to come back to you. He was so excited to be able to hold you again and not have to dread living without you. He couldn’t wait to die, he couldn’t wait to be free with you again.

Reacting to you self harming

Prompt (mentions of blood!):

they come home to see you sitting in your shared bedroom’s floor wrapped in bandages, a blade, blood, and tears.

Albedo is quick to drop everything and run to your side. He first makes sure that you aren’t spaced out and if you are he helps you come back to reality. he goes to hug you and asks if you’re okay (or at least if you’re feeling better since obviously you’re not fully okay). he gives you some time to breathe before you start explaining how overwhelmed you felt. He fixes up your bandages and makes sure they’re secure but not harming you any time they rub up against anything. after that, he helps you get to bed, puts on some videos to help you relax as he goes to make you your favorite drink. when he comes back, he holds you all night until you peacefully fall asleep on him. the next day he’ll be by your side almost every hour of the day, he takes you out to see some scenery and buys you anything and everything you lay your eyes on making sure to never leave your side and make sure your social battery doesn’t get drained.

Dainsleif doesn’t know how to react that well but his first instinct is to hold you and tell you it’ll be okay. You were always scared to let him see you like this incase he thinks your crazy or just gets mad at you but you’re so glad he just holds you. You start sobbing into his shoulders as he rubs your back and repeatedly tells you it’ll be alright. like albedo, he’ll give you time to collect your thoughts as he helps treat your wounds carefully. you tell him how you felt and made sure to explain nothing had to do with how he made you feel which was a relief to him but he was still visibly concerned about your mental state. after that, he refuses to leave your side for the next two days until you tell him it’ll be okay and you’re feeling better now. he’s still extremely cuddly with you at home but he can go adventuring regularly and doing his commissions as normal.

Diluc doesn’t seem like the type to be good at comforting people but in reality he’s great at it. when ever you had thoughts to or did self harm, he always helped you recover. today was no different, he came home from work to see you with a blade in one hand and bandages in the other. he approaches you slowly to not startle you, and sits next to you. he reached out his hand waiting for you to put the blade in his hand which you do. then he asks for the bandages and starts treating your wounds to make sure they won’t get worse under the bandages. “it’s gonna be okay, Y/N.” he repeats as he treats you, occasionally he also kisses you, your forehead, or your hand as he repeats it’ll be okay. You don’t even have to say anything, his touch is so gentle and loving. when he finishes treating you, he lifts you up and takes you to bed laying you down and sitting next to you. he brushes your hair and gently holds you close to him as you slowly start to fade into sleep. In the morning, he’ll make you breakfast and call off his shift just to make sure you’re feeling better. he reminds you every hour that he loves you and he’s so glad he met you.

Gorou’s seen your scars before so this isn’t new to him, he also struggles with those same feelings himself so he knows how to take care of the situation more cautiously. when he comes home and see’s you sitting there, he quickly walks to hold you dropping everything and asks for the blade in your hands. he runs his hand through your hair and asks you if you’re okay. after a couple minutes of hugging you, he puts the bandages on you neatly while asking you if you’ve eaten, showered, drank water, ect. if you haven’t, he’ll take you to the kitchen, put on something on the tv and start cooking food for you. after, he’ll take you to bed and let you play with his ears/tail until you fall asleep to which he just cuddles you all night. in the morning he’ll make you breakfast and ask if you want to come with him to work. though he has his duties to attend to, he wont leave your side and kokomi doesn’t force him to leave you either. he spends the whole day holding your hands and making sure you know how much he loves and appreciates you. Kazuha has a harder time handling situations like this. he never thinks he does enough to comfort you but truth is he does an excellent job at it. when he comes home to see you sitting on the floor next to a blade and bloody tissues, he immediately forgets anything and everything he was originally going to do upon getting home. he runs to your side and asks you if it hurts and if you need him to get you anything. when you tell him you don’t need anything besides him, he quickly softens up and starts kissing your forehead to help comfort you. he helps clean your wounds and bandage you up. he stays with you on the floor and tells you all about his day which helps you relax and feel more at peace. he tells you everything and does not miss a single detail of his day. it makes you laugh a bit how much he can go on and on about his day while wrapping up your wounds. when he finishes, he helps you up off the floor and again asks you if you need anything, are craving anything, if he can go out and buy you a comfort item and once again you tell him he is all you need. he takes you with him to the kitchen and makes you two some hot coco, once you get your coco he puts on a movie for the two of you to enjoy and you quickly fall asleep cuddled in his arms after drinking your hot coco. in the morning you realize Kazuha carried you back to bed and even though he was awake he hadn’t left your side. You two go on a date and he takes you to all the beautiful sites he’s seen while traveling. he doesn’t let go of your hand the whole day and showers you in affection, once you two get home there is no difference besides the two of you being more cuddly and him being careful not to touch your wounds. Thoma is the ever so loving male-wife so of course when he see’s you’ve relapsed he is quick to come to your aide. he’s quick to drop everything and treat your wounds and ask you how long ago you did it just to make sure you haven't lost too much blood. he’s relieved when you tell him it was recent so he can cover the wound without being scared of you loosing too much blood. he reassures you that this isn't your fault and that everything will be okay. he tells you things like this happen and he’s proud of you for going so far and even if you feel disappointed and upset right now, he’s really proud of you. he reassures you that everything will be okay and he’ll help you feel better. after he’s done wrapping your wounds up he makes the both of you some food and takes you out to clear your head and get some fresh air. after you two come home, he showers you in even more affection and doesn't let you go until you both fall asleep. In the morning, he cleans your office up and makes breakfast before waking you up. he wakes you up and takes the day off to make sure he’s with you, he goes shopping with you and buys you anything you like even if its just you craving a specific food. he also sneaks in a new comfort item for you to have on you all the time when he’s not around. when you two return home he makes sure to tell you how much he loves you until you basically have to shut him up and go to sleep. Xiao doesn’t know how to react at first. he runs to your aide and asks if someone hurt you and whoever it was he’d hurt them, when you tell him that it was you who did this to yourself, he softens up and asks why you would do this to yourself. he’s so innocent it almost hurts. you tell him you’ll explain at another time and that you aren’t at a mental state to explain it for now. he nods patiently and helps you clean up your wounds. he puts cute little bandages on you and rubs your hands softly trying his best to reassure you that he loves you. you know he isn’t of much words so him doing this comforts you a lot. you lay your head on his shoulders and vent to him how horrible you feel. he rubs your back and when you are done venting he tells you that you are the light of his life, you give him purpose and he feels so much less pain being around you. he tells you over and over again how he’s sorry you feel like this and if he could let you see how he see’s you he would. he tells you over and over again how much he loves you and how much he’s grateful to have you in his life. he gives you constant reassurance and spends every second of the next few days with you just to make sure you don’t feel like that again. he’s like a lost puppy adopting you. he refuses to do his work without knowing you’re safe and you basically have to beg him to trust you enough to be okay leaving you for his work. after a bit of convincing he agrees but still visits you any chance he can. Venti knows how to deal with a situation like this but when its his lover? he feels so much more pressure to make sure you’re okay. his first instinct was to handle your wounds and ask you if you’re feeling better now. when you tell him you feel better but still feel pretty bad, he id relieved you at least feel a little better. he takes a break from tending to your wounds to make sure you know that he loves you. constantly repeating it after each kiss he puts on your face. it makes you laugh a bit how affectionate he is and how much he loves to give you kisses. he quickly finishes wrapping up your wounds and goes straight back to giving you kisses all over. it reminds you of a puppy licking all over your face when they are excited. he knows this makes you happy though so he does it happily and it works. he laughs with you, saying he’s glad even at times like this he can make you smile. he reassures you that he’s glad to have you and he loves you more than you would think. you two spend the rest of the night being cuddly and constantly being with each other. he follows you around for a couple days and even when you tell him he doesn’t have to, he still follows from afar (which you can sense). other people think its weird of him but you find it adorable.

i recently found an old fanfic and i told myself “why not upload it as a sort of filler while i gain motivation to write again” so here it is!! quick current AN, this was written back in february of 2021 and it’s a bit lengthy so i’m just kinda gonna paste it on here and see what happens lol! please excuse any grammar mistakes!

OLD AN : hi there! little A/N before i actually post the fanfic(?) one, this isnt something thats gonna be uploaded weekly, i started this for fun + to release stress so im not exactly sure how often ill upload im sorry to disappoint ! two, this is gonna be based around a school au! I love writing in school au’s so thats what im most comfortable with ! and third, this will not (for the most part) have any nsfw or anything (unless i change my mind and if i do i'll put a warning before each chapter) so fellow nsfw lovers im sorry ! oh and also for anyone wondering, all the characters will be around the same age in this au (yes this includes venti, im mainly doing this for 0 spoilers and just cause a teen venti sounded like a lot of fun to write) + im only using mondstadt based characters because im too lazy to write everyone else in, anyways i hope you enjoy this !

Chapter one - New beginning.

“Finally!” Y/N said followed up with a sigh. “a new school, new people, far far away from my old town!” Y/N thought to themselves. “WATCH OUT!” said a girl in a bright red outfit who was chasing after,,, a dog? “AMBER!” said a boy in green chasing after her. he stopped next to me and sighed, “Oh, hi there!” the boy in green said with a smile. He had lovely green and blue eyes with dark blue hair that faded into light blue/cyan. “My name is Venti! Who you saw running after that dog is Amber.” he continued. “My name is Y/N” I replied. “Y/N?” Venti said with a confused face. “That doesn't sound like a local name. Are you from mondstadt?” “No,” I replied, “Im from a neighboring city, my siblings and I were moved over for a safer environment.” Venti looked at me with a concerned face, “Ah, that would make sense yes.” We were awkwardly standing there for about a minute or two before we here a “Venti!” in the distance. It was the red girl, Amber. “Hey Amber! Oh right this is Y/N, Y/N this is Amber!” I smiled and said a simple nice to meet you. She smiled and said “Hello! Nice to meet you. Oh and also welcome to Mondstadt!” Both Venti and I were a bit shocked, we looked at each other with the look of how in the heck did she know? Before we could even speak any longer, the school bell rang. The girl in red had a bit of dirt on her face, most likely from chasing the dog, so venti got out a cloth and started wiping some of the dirt off as he said “We’ll be late, go drop him (the dog) off before you forget like last time” Like,, last time,, I thought to myself. “Oh yeah right haha, venti, cover for me if I am late please?” she asked the green boy with puppy dog eyes. “Yeah yeah, now go before you're seriously late. You have five minutes” He said with a smile. As soon as he finished his sentence she ran off again and in the distance I can hear her say “WATCH OUT!” Venti and I laughed and started walking into the school.

Immediately I noticed the school was five, no ten times bigger than my old one! “Was your old school smaller perhaps?” Venti said as he looked and smiled at me. “It was.” I replied with a smile, we both chuckled at it and continued walking. “So what class are you in?” “Im in uh 3-B” i said thinking and hoping all three of us had the same class. “Cool!” he said “Most of the popular kids are in 3-B with us but at least you’ll have us for comfort” he continued with a smile and a giggle. I giggled as well. “Good. I’ll be fine as long as i have you two!” I said with a smile. Venti kinda blushed at what i said then smiled. Soon enough we were at our class. “Ready?” He said. “As ready as i’ll ever be” I said with a nervous chuckle. He opened the door and immediately we bumped into a gorgeous yet cold red head. He looked at us almost as if he was disgusted by us. “Sorry about that Diluc.” Venti said with a slight smile while he scratched his head. Diluc looked at Venti, “its okay, just a misunderstanding. No need to worry Venti.” His voice was soft yet so cold it was almost displeasing yet satisfying to hear at the same time. And then he walked out and headed towards the bathroom. Venti noticed me staring at him. “Well well well, looks like someones got a crush already!” he said with a giggle, I quickly shushed him and said “Venti! Don't say that!” He continued to giggle and walked into the classroom, I walked in after him. “This is where me and Amber usually sit. Knowing the teacher, she’ll ask you to sit anywhere you'd feel comfortable. I suggest this seat, its closest to us so we can still talk and work together.” He said with a warm smile. As soon as he finished, both Amber and Diluc came in and soon after them the teacher came in to look for me.

I walked out of the classroom and she started talking to me. “I'm going to start class but please come with me to the faculty office at lunch, we need to get some information clear” I nodded and she headed into the classroom. “Okay class, today we have a new student joining us. Y/N, come on in” she called out to me and i did as she said. “Why don’t you introduce yourself sweetie.” “Hello, my name is Y/N, i’m from a neighboring city hence my unusual name, and i’d love to get along with all of you!” i said with a smile. “Okay, go ahead and sit where you’d like dear.” as i began to walk near Venti and Amber, Dulic called to me and signaled me to sit next to him. he was sitting behind Venti and Amber’s table so i gladly accepted and sat next to him. immediately Venti and Amber looked at me. “Are you going to talk to the teacher during lunch?” Venti asked. I simply nodded, my heart was pounding so hard, i felt as though i was melting. maybe sitting next to mr gorgeous was a bad idea. i thought to myself “Does that mean you won’t be able to sit with us at lunch?” Amber asked. “I’m not sure Amber, but if i have enough time i’ll find you guys as soon as i can!” i said with a smile. i heard mr gorgeous chuckle and as soon as we looked at him he looked away and out the window. he seems a bit shy haha how cute. i thought and giggled. Venti and Amber looked so confused but just turned around to listen to the teacher. a couple minutes went by and i saw Diluc hand me a note. he still didn’t look at me. what is this? a comedy romance anime? i thought to myself as i opened the note. “friends?” was written in it with a yes no and maybe box. i chuckled, answered, and handed it back to him. i could see his reaction out of the corner of my eye, he just looked at it, smiled, and put it in his pocket. WHAT IN THE HECK WAS THAT REACTION? OKAY HEART PLEASE CALM DOWN ITS BARELY EVEN BEEN AN HOUR SINCE WE MET THESE PEOPLE! i sighed and continued to listen to the teachers lesson.

“I’m home” you heard your roommate call out to you from the other room. You and Kazuha had become roommates a year ago to save money and time. You weren’t the closest to him before but you trusted him enough to not be a pain to live with. You two were strictly friends and you knew this so… why did your heart always pound when he’d come home calling for you like that? “…Y/N?” Kazuha called to you again after hearing silence. You were in your room typing a paper for your project, it was the last part you needed to be done with it and here Kazuha came to make you late to finish it again. Kazuha wasn’t a bad student, far from it actually, he had a bad habit of going out to drink every two weeks with his buds. “In here, Kazuha.” you said in a sigh as you closed the essay and shut down your laptop. He came almost running to your room, he was almost like a dog in a way when he was drunk. “Y/N! You won’t believe what happened tonight!!” he said both excitedly but calm. You went to sit down on your bed and patted the space next to you, signaling him to sit. “There were these really pretty girls at the bar me and my friends went to-“ oh boy, here you go again. somehow, you always found a way to be jealous when he mentioned a ‘pretty girl’. “-she asked for my number but me being me, I forgot my phone at home and I don’t have it memorized yet! “They’re someone i’ve known for a while,” he started. “I’ve been friends with them and known of them for years, I see them everyday, we hang out every day. My favorite part of the day is being able to talk to them. I don’t think they’ve noticed my gaze though, they seem completely oblivious to my feelings even though I think I make them a little too clear.” “What’s their name?” Kazuha stopped. Gorou was a new exchanged student. he was often picked on or asked to let people touch his ears and tail. he was either adorable or a freak, no in between. until you came along, that is. you found Gorou adorable but you wouldn’t like people to randomly touch you either. you wanted to become his friend as well, not just for the benefit of touching his ears and tail but he also looked like he had an interesting background. he was one of the only exchanged students and his appearance and outfits seemed interesting. he was cautious when you first came up to him, his mind immediately started going to whether you’d ask to pet him or just pick on him. either way, he was prepared for what ever was to come. he was prepared to say no or just pretend you weren’t there. to his surprise, you did neither. “Hello! it’s Gorou, right?” you asked politely with a smile on your face. he looked at you, trying to determine what your goals were when talking to him. “…Yeah…yeah my names Gorou…” he was very hesitant but still answered. “Cool!! Gorou was hanging out with his friends during lunch the day you were gonna confess. you were asking your own friends to hype you up so you could finally do it, finally tell him how you felt! your friends did a great job at hyping you up. they said things like “There’s no way he wouldn’t like you!” or “You got this don’t worry! just don’t forget about us when you have a boyfriend okayyy?” they were chaotic but they always managed to make you smile. with their motivation and support, you went to look for him. you had about 15 minutes left of lunch break, you looked for him everywhere. you asked his friends where he went and they told you he went to the rooftop. they also told you that some girl asked to speak to him up there. your heart dropped. you’ve never ran faster in your life. you were just praying, begging for him not to be there with that girl still.

on your way there, you were relieved to see a girl coming back down from the direction of the rooftop. he… rejected her? she looked so sad but, you were so relieved. you took in a deep breathe and went to open the door. on the right, you saw Gorou there, looking up at the clouds. you tried your best to be quiet, you were so, so relieved he wasn’t with that girl. you went up behind him, you didn’t know if you should tap his shoulder or call out to him. before you could even think about what to do, you heard him sigh. “She wanted me for my ears and tail.” he said. “W-What?” your heart once again dropped but for another reason. “It’s ridiculous, right? I shouldn’t have gotten my hopes up. There’s no way someone would like me for anything besides my appearance.” he looked so, sad, but he also looked so… relieved? “That’s-” you started but were soon cut off by the bell ringing. “Let’s get back to class, should we?” he turned to you with a smile. you just stared at him, you were confused. he noticed, “What’s wrong, Y/N?” “You’re wrong.” you said firmly. “What? Wrong about what?” he looked like a confused puppy. “Your appearance isn’t the only thing people would be attracted to.” he looked at you confused still, you kept talking. “I cant speak for everyone but, i never once wanted you to be my boyfriend just for your appearance.” it finally clicked. or did it? was this a confession or just you trying to make him feel better? he couldn’t tell. his head was all over the place after your comment. “Gorou,” you grabbed his had and looked up at him, “I like you, please date me!”

“I’m sorry, Y/N…” his words snapped you back into reality. right, there’s no way he’d like someone like me. “I don’t understand why you would have an interest in me,” you looked back up at him confused by his words. “I like you, I really do. We can talk more about this after school okay?” You nod and take his hand. “Yeah! Let’s go back to class then.” “W-WAIT, YOU’RE HOLDING MY HAND Y/N—“ seeing him flustered always made you the happiest.

after school, he walked you back home. before dropping you off though he actually asked if you wanted to be his partner which of course you said yes to. it all felt like a dream, one you didn’t want to wake up from! you two texted all night long and called before going to sleep. the next morning you two had your very first date, since it was now spring break, the two of you made plans to go on dates and hang out during it. whether it be as a little study session or just to lay down and watch movies together, you two wanted to make the most of this break and you guys getting together! when you guys returned to school, you were like a celebrity couple basically! everyone was excited to see the two of you finally being a couple, guess everyone knew you two liked each other and were just waiting for one of you to make the move lol. you two enjoyed your years left in high school and soon graduated together and went off to start your lives together. you two were the cutest couple in town and your only regret is not confessing sooner. you wouldn’t have it any other way though, the way you two got together will always be a core memory for you two!

Falling asleep on them

Xiao, Kazuha, Diluc, Thoma, Gorou, Albedo x gn!reader (separate)

Basically you come home late from work to cuddle your boyfriend only to end up falling asleep on him

Xiao could see how tired you were the moment you got home so when you ended up falling sleep on him he just reaches over for a blanket covering you both and kisses your forehead as he watches you and soon falls asleep as well. When you both wake up, you best believe he’ll cuddle you but also lecture you for overworking yourself and not getting enough sleep on work nights. You best believe he’ll baby you all day long and force you to sleep earlier then you usually do as a way to “punish” you for not getting good enough sleep.

Kazuha tries his best to get you to sleep but you tell your boyfriend you just want cuddles and who is he to take away his lovely partners cuddles? You lay on him as he goes to cover you both with a blanket and strokes your hair as he tells you how his day went. You end up falling asleep on your poor boyfriend, he smiles when he realizes you’ve fallen asleep on him, it’s one of his favorite ways to end the night. Like Xiao, when you both wake up he’s going to cuddle you and give you lots of affection but he won’t lecture you. Not as much at least, he’ll remind you to sleep and not overwork yourself but he won’t force you to.

Diluc tends to wait for you to finish your shift so he can walk you to your shared home no matter how long you take. Today was no different, except when you got off your shift you were incredibly tired. You had trouble walking back home with your lover, he even offered to carry you on his back. Needless to say, you took your lovers hand and walked your way home trying your best not to collapse. The moment you reach your home, you quickly change into your nightwear, lay on your lover and quickly end up falling asleep. Diluc knew you would knock out the second you two got home so he was prepared to watch over you until he himself fell asleep. When you wake up, he has the maids prepare breakfast for you two. he tells you to start getting better sleep which you agree to do. you both go on to talk about your plans for the day.

Thoma tends to overwork himself so when you do it as well he understands. he doesn’t like when you do it, however. he likes you being well rested, even if you’re not, he likes taking care of you and making sure you’re well rested. today was no different. when he saw you basically on the verge of collapsing when you came into your shared home, he picked you up and took you to your bedroom. you took what felt like a 7 hour rest but in reality was only like a minute of shut eye. he lets you put your feet on the ground and lets you change into more comfortable clothing. once you were done, he picked you up again and laid you in bed. he laid next to you, kissed your forehead, tucked you in and started telling you about his day. you chuckled when he put in cute little jokes about his day, and soon you fell asleep. in the morning he’ll make you breakfast in bed and make you tea to help with your sore neck from work. how cute thoma

Gorou tends to come home later then you so when he gets home and you’re not already there to greet him, he becomes concerned. he knows you’ve had a lot of work recently but he still couldn’t stop himself from thinking something else has happened. he stops all his worrying the minute he hears the keyhole turn. he was so excited to see you but when you walked in his excitement turned into worry. you looked exhausted, he quickly rushed to you and lent his shoulder for you to rest on, he asked you if you were okay, asking if you were good enough to walk to bed. you assured him you were okay, he walked with you to the bedroom and let you change as he went to change in the bathroom. he came out quickly and took you to bed, he laid next to you and wrapped his arms around you while kissing your forehead and slowly you two went off to bed. the next morning he continues cuddling and kissing you but also seeps in a lecture. his worry’s are the cutest honestly.

Albedo isn’t much like the rest of the boys, he’s worried after seeing you come home late with an exhausted face but he doesn’t say much. he escorts you to your bedroom and lets you change privately. after you’re done changing, he lets you lay down and soon goes to cuddle up next to you. he’d say stuff like “was work tiring?” and “don’t worry, you can rest as much as you’d like now. i’ll be here when ever you awake”. he doesn’t speak much but you can tell he’s worried about how tired you seem and worries if he needs to force you to start sleeping more. he looks down at you’re sleeping face and smiles. he follows you in sleeping soon after. he’ll ask you if you slept well or if you need anything like a massage or what not when you’re awake. he’ll ask you what you want for breakfast, ask you if you need him to do your work for you, ect ect. he may not speak much but he definitely shows his love for you in other ways.
