OK, update on my hearing situation, went to get some studies done and the results finally arrived (censored some stuff for obvious reasons)

The graph ain't as clear so I also scanned it

See that small teal part? That's Salmonid DNA, turns out that I do have the smallest bit of salmonid DNA

Worse part? See that small text at the bottom? It says "made percentage bigger for clearer image" LIKE IT'S THAT SMALL

AND THAT SMALL BIT MADE ME SENSITIVE TO GLOWFLY NOICES AUGH

Well, end of rant, I suppose thanks to the two people that suggested it for actually making me look more into this

What is everyone planning to do for Frosty Fest?

I personally don't have something set, I have something prepared for before but not during just a vague idea of staying home (maybe I'll finally finish moving to my workshop idk)

So I was wondering how everyone else was gonna do, maybe I could even get some ideas

Ok from the preliminary results of this poll

Yes, glowflies do make sound (thanks cod) but now I'm more concerned that I think I may heard them more loudly than other inkfish????????? How normal is this????? Should I get checked????????????????

Also to the folk that don't hear a sound, how??????????? Give me your powers

Wait pause, question

when the whole Glowfly thing happened I swear that the noise of them was so loud that it was jarring but I just read someone said they make no noise at all and was left like ??????????????????????

Another tale of a roller because there are too many of them to count

So someone brought their roller because it wasn't turfing properly because the flicks weren't throwing as much ink as it should

Now at the start I couldn't really find what exactly was wrong with it so we went to give it a test run close by to the shop

Everything was going well with the standard roll on the ground, yes the horizontal flicks were off but I still couldn't find what was wrong until–

The whole roll just flung off the handle when they did a vertical flick

It straight up almost hit me right on the head when it was coming back down

So yes the parts that were keeping the roll and the handle together weren't that visibility wore down, I replaced them but I did advice them to consider getting a new roller since this sort of issues will never truly go away, but at least I made it usable for the time being

Conked out so hard after the Glowfly thing I almost forgot to post this oops-

This past few days have been truly something, but at least it's finally over, got to catch up with some friends and also got to meet some pretty cool people, I even took some photos with some of them

Here we have Big Blu and Sal, pretty sure they both share a social (@insertgroupnamehere-booyah or something). Maybe I'll upload more photos later

Thanks to everyone who helped, let's hope for better times to come
