How do you write a regressed character? I’m new to actually writing agere and I have an idea for a story but I don’t know how to write it

Ooh! Well first let me say welcome aboard! Always nice to have more agere writers <33

A little trick I've learned is that you need to keep just one or two major traits of the character you're writing and translate them somehow. For example, I always like to keep Taako's mischievous side and his tendency to steal. However, you don't need to translate them so directly, if that makes sense? You could just as easily invert their character traits. For example, making Akechi very quiet when he's normally quite verbose. I think anything is fair game is you do it right, it's just what you prefer!

Speech tics are also fun to use, but imo you have to very careful with them to get them to work. Replacing all L's and R's with W's can really decrease the readability of your work, for example, but a good rule of thumb is to see if a beta reader can easily read through this dialogue without having to slow down.

Hello. We're regressing-thieves-of-hearts, a Persona 5-themed account for SFW AgeRe purposes. I'm Yusuke; I'm 17, as is the body, and I use he/they pronouns. I'll be the main one running this account. There may or may not be others who will join, as well, though that will come later on.

For now, we do AgeRe fanfiction, headcanons, and artwork for Persona 5- namely Akira and Yusuke, though any of the other Phantom Thieves of Hearts are fine, as well. However, Headcanons and fanfiction may take longer, as they require more motivation to do.

For artwork, please list a scenario/idea, character(s), what would be included, and who would be regressing, if there are multiple characters involved.

For fanfics, please list a prompt, characters, what would be included, who would be regressing/caring for them, and how many words you'd like for the minimum. (The minimum cannot pass 3000!)
