Hey, guys!
Sorry I went so silent there for a little bit. Personal life and all got in the way. But I am back and looking to start the next event! I've noticed that the fandom has been a little quiet recently, so I wanted to do a temperature check on another Fanworks Gift Exchange. I'll keep the poll simple.

Round three of the Fandom Boost Bingo is ready to go! This round, Astrocat has found love and is celebrating with a Valentine Edition!
The round officially starts Wednesday, February 1. Feel free to grab the card and get going! Remember, there's no need to sign up, but if you would like us to share your card (whether you just fill one square or get a whole blackout), the due date to @ us is February 15. That's right: two whole weeks to share high fives and love across the fandom universe!
Astrocat and Aliencat would also like to encourage anyone who's interested to join them in celebrating love with a special Valentine's OTP Edition. Feel free to focus your high five efforts this month on your one true pairing -- whether that's your favorite romantic ship ever or the best gen buds that you love so much. (For the nonromantic, Aliencat wants to assure you that you can just fill out a regular card if hearts & flowers aren't of interest.)
As always, a list of definitions for each of the squares is below the cut. Don't forget to include a link to each fanwork or creator you high fived when it's time to share your card!
☆ How do I fill my card? How is each square defined?
Here’s the way we’re defining the activities associated with each card. If any of this is confusing after you read it over, send us a message and we’ll help!
- ‘leave kudos on a fic’
This is the easiest one! Just go out and find a fic you like and leave a kudos on it, if you haven’t already. It’s a small gesture but it makes an author know that someone actually read their story!
- ‘reblog/retweet an art post’
Find any art post you like and share it! Here’s the catch: you need to interact with it a little. When you reblog/retweet, please tell the creator what you thought about the piece – you can add some tags, or reply to the post, or quote-retweet or add a comment, or anything! A simple “I love this!” is nice but some details are even better (“your linework is so good!” or “that shade of blue is perfect”). One thing to think about: a lot of art on Tumblr is reposted (like when a user posts another artist’s work from Pixiv, say), so it’s nice if you make an effort to interact with posts that are actually from the creator if you can. That way the artist will see your comment!
- ‘reblog/retweet a fic post’
Same as the above, but for fic! Again, tags/replies/comments are needed, preferably with a little detail. You don’t need to be super eloquent or leave a detailed review (although if you have time/energy, that would be appreciated!); a tag as simple as “that was really cute” or “great characterization!” will do. Like with the art posts, it’s nice if you reblog directly from the writer (if you can) – some fics are posted by AO3 feed bots and the like, so the author may not even know a reblog has happened.
- ‘reblog/retweet an edit’
Same as the above, but for edits! Edits can include a gif set, or a set of screencaps, or even a fanvid. And, again, some simple tags/replies are needed. “I love that song choice!” for a vid or “great coloring!” on a gifset can let people know their work is being appreciated.
- ‘comment on a fic’
Find a fic, on any fic-hosting site you like, and leave a comment. That’s it! Again, no need to leave a novel-length comment (unless you’re inspired!) – a sentence or two is all we’re asking for this square to be considered complete. This is a great opportunity to let a writer know how their piece made you feel, or what section you particularly liked.
- ‘message a creator’
‘Creator’ here can mean anyone who makes *anything* to do with fandom: art, edits, fic, meta, knitted sweaters with character faces on them – if they’ve made anything, they’re a creator, and now’s your chance to let them know they’re appreciated. Send a message (anonymous or not!) letting them know that you enjoyed their work!
- ‘make a rec post’
This is a chance to tell your fandom friends about something they need to see. You can rec a fic, a blog, a fan event, an artist, an author, that person who knits sweaters with character faces – any kind of fandom thing that you want to make sure people see. This doesn’t have to be long or complicated, but feel free to go into as much detail as you want! Just make your own post, on Tumblr or Twitter or wherever else seems best to you, and give that thing you loved a little fanfare.
- ‘interact with a meta post’
A little love for our analytical friends! Here, you can reblog/retweet any kind of meta post for your fandom, whether it’s a three sentence headcanon or an essay-length dissection of why Character X is the absolute best character in Fandom Y. It’s even better if you respond to the meta, whether that’s agreeing or (respectfully!) adding your own thoughts, but sharing it is the main thing here.
And here’s the non-decorated version, in case you feel like making it your own. Get creative, if you want!

Rules below the cut:
This event will be centered on characters with disabilities and chronic conditions, both visible (ex, paraplegia; limb differences) and invisible (ex, migraines; CFS). For writing to qualify, please have one or more disabled/chronically ill characters as the focus of your story, rather than a side character/cameo in a story about abled characters. Prompts are meant to facilitate stories about disability and disabled characters in the genres of hurt/comfort and whump (also known as hurt-no-comfort).
"Disability" can have a broad definition, and many conditions can be disabling. The moderator will not be filtering or rejecting submissions based on what medical conditions "count"; the only parameter is that the central character lives with a chronic condition of some type which is disabling for them in some way. Disabililties which come about in a fantasy or sci-fi setting are welcome as long as they are portrayed as being disabling in some way which is anaolgous (eg, a permanent problem caused by magic, or vampirism as a fantasy-disability).
Please do not TAG your posts/links with the names of disabilities you are writing about, or with “disability” or “chronic illness”, as those tags are used by disabled folks to talk about our RL disabilities and in the past there have been issues with writers inadvertently clogging those tags with fiction/writing advice.
Please DO tag your posts and links #disabledwhc2025 and, in a second tag, the day (eg, #day 1: established disability) so the mod can find and reblog them to the blog!
Original work and fanfic are both welcome; anything goes in terms of settings and genres (fantasy, sci-fi) as long as it’s h/c or whump.
You do not have to write for every prompt (that’s why there’s a mix of hurt and comfort!) or every day to be featured. If you don’t have time for 30 days, do as many as you feel like. If you only write either H/C or Whump, you can do a 15-day challenge, reinterpret the hurt prompts to include comfort, and/or find a whumpy spin on the comfort prompts.
If you write prompts out of order please still tag which day you are writing for and the title of that prompt set. So if you decide to post the prompt “frustrated ambition” from the set “Loss”, which is day 21, on April 3, please still tag your April 3 post “day 21: loss”.
There are no restrictions on what content can be posted, but please use content notes for the following topics: "Rape/noncon" "Underage" "Graphic Depictions of Violence" (ie gore), and "Major Character Death" before the start of your piece. You can also use the warning "Creator Chose Not to Use Content Warnings" if you do not want to spoil fic. Please use a "read more" for these pieces.
Please tag any NSFT works (explicit sexual content) as "NSFT". Please use a "read more" for these pieces.

Introductory Post
Welcome to the 2025 Disabled Whump & Hurt/Comfort Writing Challenge!
This is a 30-day writing challenge for original and fan fiction in the whump and hurt/comfort genres which centers on characters with disabilities. One general writing prompt is given for each day, and participants post a piece written to fill the prompt (any length) on that day, tagged appropriately (see rules 3 and 4).
The challange runs through April 1-30 2025, but late submissions tagged for the event will be accepted and reblogged to be featured on this blog.
All writers are welcome! This challenge will uplift the work of disabled writers, but you do not have a disability to participate.
There is a post with resources for writing disabled characters respectfully and learning more about disabilities here.
The moderator is Mod K (she/her), and can be contacted via the ask box or messages.

Challenge Goals:
Help destigmatize writing about disability in the whump and hurt/comfort genres. Complete recovery is not the only way to have a happy ending, and whumping already-disabled characters is a valid option for stories. So is having disabled characters doing the comforting, or the hurting!
Highlight disabled characters, canonical in media or original, in the genre.
Make disabled creators visible! A lot of us are drawn to hurt/comfort partly due to our disabilities.
Encourage nondisabled creators to try writing about disability, and dispel fear or anxiety about being “allowed to”.
Expand horizons of who disabled characters are. Headcanons or AUs about a character having or acquiring a disability are entirely welcome.
Other Ways to Contribute:
Do you want to participate but don't have the spoons (energy) to write anything? Here are some other ways to be a part of this event!
Make a reading recommendation list of works with disabled representation in whump and hurt/comfort. Please make sure that these are tagged #disabledwhc2025 and have "reading recommendation" somewhere in the post title. Please only do this with works whose authors have tagged them as whump, hurt/comfort or related terms. If you find a work on tumblr which you really, really want to recommend which you feel fits the genre and criteria but is not tagged as such, please ask the author if it is OK to include on the rec list before doing so, as some people may be uncomfortable with the genre tags being applied to their work, and ask or message mod K with a screenshot of the permission you received.
Like, reblog and comment on others' works! By following this blog you will see featured works and can give some love to the people who made them.
Reblog the prompts or otherwise spread the word about this event.

Baking Up Traditions
For day 12 of the @remnants-of-rwby-events Nondescript Holiday.
Day 12, Traditions. Oz has been baking almost as long as he's been in Vale, sharing the goods out with his friends and his students. And Qrow, of course...
Qrow grinned as the scent of baking permeated the house he shared with Oz when they both had the time to be somewhere other than at their jobs. He loved this time of year, though sometimes it could be hell on his waistline. Oz always baked up a whole armies worth of sweet things at this time of year. Some of them went to Beacon, some to their other friends… he’d frequently be given care baskets for Tai and the girls though he knew Tai had no idea Oz was baking it. He’d called it his holiday tradition, and it was possibly the most tasty tradition Qrow had ever heard of. What was even better? Even the kisses he shared with his partner tasted sweeter this month. Maybe it was all the sampling Oz did as he baked?
Oz hummed an ancient tune as he set the next batch of cookies out, ready to be baked. He wondered, sometimes, if he should teach the students some of the songs that had disappeared over the millennia. But probably not, especially as they’d probably think he was creating them. He’d hate to take credit for that, but he couldn’t really see a way around it. Music was important, though, it was another form of art. It had almost been lost to the war, too. Maybe he’d think about it.
Oh, the second batch of fruitcakes were ready! He grabbed his mittens and went to remove them, setting them on one of the army of cooling racks carefully. He had plans for some of these cakes, it wouldn’t do to burn them. Not that he ever did, thank you very much. He knew his way around a kitchen, at least as long as toasters weren’t involved.
There was a sound behind him as Qrow entered the room, obviously following the scent of baking. He smiled at him fondly as Qrow made a slightly artificial gasp, eyes growing wide and pleading. He knew what he wanted, he’d put a few things aside for him. Turning, he grabbed the plate, offering it up to Qrow, unaware of the slight blush staining his cheeks.
Qrow wanted to say something, but really, Oz was adorable like that, and besides, his favorite brownies were right there for the taking. He’d noticed, over the years, that they never seemed to make it into the care packages Oz sent out yearly. There were always just enough for him. Well, and Oz to share a few when he could convince him to.
The timer wouldn’t go off for at least twenty minutes and Oz looked amazing right now. There was plenty of time to convince him to share…

Deaged Oz AU - The Atlas Winter Parade
For day 11 - Parade @remnants-of-rwby-events
Mostly fluff for day 11, to be honest. It's parade day in Arlas and Qrow has his doubts, but Oz really wants to go, so...
Qrow groaned as he shrugged into the knitted woollen jumper Oz had found for him back in Mistral, trying not to shiver. It was bad enough that they were all stuck in Atlas for the holidays, but did the kids really have to want to go and see the parade? Oh, but of course they did. Although Ice Princess had likely seen it every year, there was nothing quite like it in Vale. Ruby and Yang had certainly never been to one before. He snorted at the sudden image of Tai, shivering as much as Qrow was likely to, willingly bringing his daughters into Atlas for a celebration that was very much kingdom specific. Tai would have been miserable. The girls might have enjoyed it when they were younger, but now? He couldn’t help blaming the Schnee’s slightly, for all he knew it was unfair.
But they’d been pouring stories of past parades into Oz’s ears, had been telling him about all the things he’d done there as a child. For all he knew that Oz knew that he wasn’t the boy he had been, he was deeply aware that he still wanted the connection. One word of what was basically a festival in front of the girls and Qrow already knew that he’d lost.
He was going with them, though. He still thought it was a stupid idea, letting Oz out there when he was a target, but he couldn’t really stop him. The Brothers knew that he’d tried, but at least he knew that despite appearances Pocketsized could well and truly look after himself.
It wasn’t that likely someone would try to snatch him in the middle of a parade, though it would be more than busy and chaotic enough to make Qrow worry slightly. He really wished Jimmy had been a bit more close mouthed in that damn press conference, though. He knew the people looking weren’t looking for Oz, but the more whispers there were, the more likely it was to get back to Salem.
He blinked as he heard someone cough meaningfully and glanced at them. It was Oz, one dark eyebrow raised, eyes glinting happily, a massive smile on his face. He seemed almost to be bouncing in place, obviously incredibly excited about this. Huh, had Oz somehow never seen one of these things either? Or was it just that special, seeing it with his friends? With Qrow? He thought he might withhold judgement for now, even if it was Atlas.
Tip was ecstatic to be allowed to actually do this. It had taken several arguments with James about his safety, but in the end he’d been allowed to go. It wasn’t actually as though James could technically stop him, of course, but it tended to make things more comfortable if he at least tried to keep the piece with the man who was technically his guardian. It wasn’t like James wouldn’t know where he was anyway, and though he wanted to believe otherwise, he knew that he’d have people watching.
But just because they were there didn’t mean that Tip wouldn’t be free to do more or less as he liked. He still didn’t like spending the money that Willow had insisted would be available to him, but maybe this could be an exception? It was a special occasion and he might finally have the funds to find gifts for his friends, for his brother. Something special for Qrow, while he continued to work on the theory he’d been crafting. If he was right… well, maybe they wouldn’t need to be parted forever, maybe there was a way for them to be closer in age.
Maybe. Either way, there was a parade to watch. He wasn’t quite sure he entirely believed Willow about how amazing it was, but he could admit that he hadn’t seen one recently, and never as Tip that he could remember. It had been rather sweet, actually, listening to her relaying his supposed childhood reaction to this particular event, but he wasn’t a child anymore. Not really. He was still really looking forward to this, though. If only because he’d be away from Atlas academy and the expectations James seemed to hold him to.
Stepping into the celebration for the first time was like stepping into another world. The centre of the street was kept clear, obviously so the parade floats could go by, but there were so many people! The crowds near the street were almost overwhelming, but that wasn’t in a bad way. The noise, the excitement… it was everything Tip had been told about and more.
There were stores set up along the parade route, a multitude of wares being hawked. He felt his hand being grabbed and blinked before he realised it was Ruby, leading him over to the others, in a pocket of more or less free space. Her silver eyes were almost glittering, he could tell she was incredibly happy to be here. Huh, he hadn’t even realised he was being swept up with the crowd, too lost in the overwhelming feeling of excitement that he could feel from them. He’d forgotten that his smaller body might have meant it was easier to get separated, though he knew Qrow would have come looking. There were enough people that he felt relatively safe, though. If someone tried to snatch him, surely they’d be stopped?
He blinked up at his friends. All of them were smiling, and he was pretty certain Ruby was actually bouncing in place. Oh no, he hoped he hadn’t looked like that, though Qrow would hopefully know better than to share if he had. But they were happy. Yang was grinning, Oscar’s eyes shining in awe at all the colours and smells. But then, Oscar at least wouldn’t have seen anything like this before. Had Tai really never taken the girls? Ah well, they were here now. All of them were, and they had hours before they needed to go back.
There was so much to explore, though. So many bright stores, so much noise. It was almost like the Vytal festival had been in happier years, though subtly different at the same time. For a start, there’d never been anywhere near this much snow in Vale. It was cold enough that there were icicles hanging off some of the booths, though the merchants either didn’t notice or didn’t seem to care. Probably the latter, since it wasn’t like ice was exactly uncommon here. It explained the sheer amount and variety of hot food and drink being served, though. Keeping warm was likely to be very important.
Tip was engrossed in bargaining at one of the stores for a few old books he thought Blake might like when he heard the cannon blast. He flinched, hand automatically reaching for his cane before he realised what it was. Did they really have to use cannons to announce the start of the parade? He supposed it was attention grabbing at least. Also, very very Atlesian, though not necessarily in a good way.
The merchant grinned at him good naturedly, accepting his offer and pushing the books over to him.
“Good enough. Get on wi ye, lad, ya don want ta miss things.”
Tip blinked, having really not expected that accent, rural Vacuan, maybe? Wherever the merchant was from wasn’t somewhere instantly familiar, which was rare. He opened his mouth to ask a question and found himself pulled sideways by his brother. Oscar was burdened with almost as much stuff as he was, but he was obviously eager to see the show.
It was easy enough to get good spots, with Qrow glaring at anyone that might try to complain. There hadn’t even been too many comments regarding his family, everybody seemingly far more caught up in the excitement the day bought that reigniting old grudges. It was nice, he mused, as the first float appeared.
Qrow watched, grumbling. He wasn’t going to admit to anyone that this was actually his first time seeing this parade, too. There was a lot of glamour, but really rather little substance, though all the kids seemed enthralled. Even Oz. He was happy and relaxed, surrounded by his friends. Maybe Qrow should let himself relax too?
He blinked as a small hand took his, not having quite seen Tip move. As he smiled up at him, eyes wide and bright, Qrow felt a knot in his chest he didn’t know was there start to loosen. Yeah, well. For Oz? He might even be willing to do this again, one day. Maybe not all of Atlas was so bad, after all.

Deaged Oz AU - Sledge-ing Up Memories
For day 10 of the @remnants-of-rwby-events non descript winter holidays event, Sledding.
Lighter in a lot of ways than yesterday's, but Tip isn't in the best place mentally in Mistral, unfortunately. :(
“Are you sure about this, Pocket Sized?” Jaune asked, tentatively, as he stared at the old sledge like it was a death trap. To his credit, they were rather rickety little things, but Tip seemed confident enough. Jaune wouldn’t normally be so worried, but Qrow wasn’t here at the moment. What if something went wrong? He hated thinking like this, especially as the others were all already sledding down the thickly snowed hills with yells and cheers, seeming to enjoy it. But what they liked wasn’t always something Jaune did. Surely he could trust him, though?
Tip grinned, his eyes soft and understanding as he looked up at the much taller figure. “You did state that it was an activity you’d never tried. Why not?” He seemed far less worried about breaking his neck than Jaune was, but some of that might be the part of their professor that was technically a ten-year-old. That or he knew something Jaune didn’t, which wasn’t that hard, especially right now.
“Besides”, Tip continued, voice steady, without a hint of the laughter he felt. “You do have an aura, it is vanishingly unlikely that any fall would result in permanent injuries.”
“You mean like when you fired us into the forest?” Jaune asked sarcastically, blushing at Tip’s raised eyebrow. How he was still so intimidating in this state, he’d never understands. It just wasn’t fair, part of him wanted to protect the seemingly younger boy. But he wasn’t a child, not really. Sometimes, like right now, it was hard to think how anybody could ever think he was.
“In a way. You were not really in danger, Jaune. If anything had happened, we would have stepped in.”
“You said that you wouldn’t, though, that we could die.” There was an injured tone in Jaune’s voice now, as he put that death trap of a sled down in order to put his hands on his hips.
“And so you can. Any of us could, though you were unlikely to di at initiation, the same could not necessarily be said for later in your studies.” Tip’s voice wavered slightly, a shadow of old grief lurking in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something else, shut it again. Biting his lip, he turned away, his own sled abandoned, too.
“Nah, You’re here to protect us.” Jaune grinned suddenly, grabbing the sled from where he’d dropped it. It was strange, that this conversation would have helped so much, but it had. The yells of excitement echoing from their friends certainly helped, Besides, today was about relaxing, putting aside worries. He thought they could both use some of that right now.
“Race you to the bottom!” He yelled, eyes sparkling as he ran off. Tip stood for a second, blinking, before shrugging and going to join his friend. There were times and places for important conversations? For now? Maybe they could all enjoy being young for just a few minutes longer.

Memories Glittering In The Dark
For day 9 @remnants-of-rwby-events
This one was physically painful to write, which is why it's being posted this late. It's also three and a half thousand words, so you're getting the AO3 link as opposed to plain text, pretty sure this is over tumblr's text limit.

Not So Healthy Coping Mechanisms
@remnants-of-rwby-events
For day 8 - Travel
Went in a slightly different direction. Again. This one's more introspective, and if only Oz had actually listened... actually had it checked. Because Vale didn't recognise his specific health issues... but Atlas would.
This, Oz thought happily, was what being a huntsman was actually supposed to be about. He’d finally managed to convince Glynda to take over at Beacon for a few days, just so he’d have the time to come out and take some of his frustrations out on the Grimm. He’d missed doing this, actually making an instant difference as opposed to the more academic nature of his day job. But how could he ever look his students in the eye, if he wasn’t willing to risk himself? Especially since, unlike him, his students were all entirely mortal.
At least by the time they graduated, they all knew that fact. They knew what might happen if they lost, the injuries that any one of them could suffer. He wondered, sometimes, if they thought that was why he limped. It wasn’t, of course… but if it made at least some of them think before they acted? Well, that particular little assumption wouldn’t really hurt anyone.
He sighed down at the little packet of pills, though he knew he’d feel much worse if he didn’t take the damn things. Nobody was really quite sure why he was sick and, though his aura could manage the condition, even it wasn’t a full cure. The amount of specialists he’d seen over the years was rather depressing to think about, though at least it was easy enough to maintain the illusion of heath. After all, it’s what people expected of him, for all he knew he’d be paying for this little excursion for days.
He just hoped he could keep it from Qrow. Oh, he knew he was sick, there had never been any way to hide it, but he had managed to conceal just how bad it really was. He hoped. Glynda knew, but she also knew that she couldn’t actually stop him doing this.
Would it be better, he wondered bleakly, to let himself die somewhere, doing this, actually making a difference? But no, it wasn’t like it was actually terminal, though he rather feared that it might have been if he hadn’t had an aura. He just wished he knew anything about his life, before he was found and raised by Vale’s council. Maybe then, he might have a few answers?
It could so easily be residue from whatever attack had orphaned him, though, there was no real way to know either way. Well, not without the sort of deep scans Atlas offered and he knew he couldn’t fully trust their confidentiality oaths. There would be people powerful enough to ask some very uncomfortable questions, if Oz were to show up there for that sort of procedure and he knew it wasn’t really something that could be covered up.
It would be so much easier if they’d never invented aura blockers. If nobody had realised that Atlas military had access to that sort of technology and liberated it into the open market. If it was ever generally known just how bad Oz’s heath was… well. It wouldn’t end well, for all that he didn’t think they would work on his magic.
Without his aura… he shuddered, stretching his arms and legs carefully, trying to avoid the inevitable aches. He just hoped he wouldn’t get the shakes again, if he did something as uncharacteristic as stumble, or worse, dropped something he was holding, then his friends would be suspicious.
Well, more suspicious than they already were, though both had seen his hands tremble when he got tired, it was different when the only exertion had been to go and kill the Grimm. He was a huntsman; it was his duty to do so. He winced slightly, remembering that he’d have to teach classes, if not tomorrow then certainly within the next few days. Hopefully, by then, he’d be feeling better or at least be more able to hide it. From the students, even if not from Glynda or Qrow. Not completely.
Maybe he should actually look into getting his health screened, one of these days? He was relatively sure that James would at least attempt to sweep any visit under the rug, and there were ways he could excuse a visit to Atlas. Meetings to have, discussions too important to risk over a scroll. It would likely make his friends happier, though he dreaded to think what might happen if Salem found out just how fragile his health really was.
Maybe, if he did, he could finally stop taking those pills?
Ah well, he’d see to it later, the Vytal festival was coming up and he had a lot to prepare for. Vale was hosting it this year, which was always a worry. There was always so much that could go wrong. But then, it hadn’t happened yet, why should he want to tempt fate? Maybe Salem would stay as quiescent as she had done for the last seventy-odd years?

Fireside Dreaming
Something shorter for day 7 - Fireplace. @remnants-of-rwby-events
Shorter, more intimate. I really loved writing this one and i hope people enjoy it!
It was always a comfort for Oz, to be curled up by the fireplace with a book and a mug of cocoa and no responsibilities to draw him away.
It didn’t happen very often, seemingly less and less as the years went on and he gained more and more responsibilities. It might be okay, if it was only his own… but he had the weight of so many others, too. Every time a fellow council member decided a duty was too burdensome, he seemed to inherit it until he sometimes felt like he was drowning under the weight. That was more bearable now though, now that he had Qrow to help him when he was at his lowest.
Speaking of Qrow… he shot a loving glance over at his boyfriend, curled up in his own chair, with his own blanket and his own mug, though Qrow’s was something a bit harder than cocoa. He looked adorable like that, really, hair slightly messy, the light from the fire playing over the carefully embroidered blanket he was tucked under.
Oh, but Qrow had been upset with him, when he’d unwrapped that gift a year ago. It was a very good blanket, incredibly warm and well made, but it was also black and red and patterned with crows. He didn’t really think he’d appreciated it as much as Oz had, finding that in the shop he’d been too. He wondered, idly, if there were matching blankets for the rest of team STRQ. It might have been coincidence, but somehow he didn’t really think so. The fact that the team had made such a mark, though, that they were as well known as they were? Well, they deserved it. He was so damn proud of them all.
They’d been his first team, or the first he’d seen to graduation. They’d always be special to him, but it was nice that others seemed to know their worth, too.
Qrow was almost asleep and he really didn’t want to disturb him. There’d be time for conversations later. For now, he was content just watching the other man doze, warm and comfortable and surrounded by love.
No matter what came later, right now? Right now, they were happy.
