Becoming Ninja with Dr Justin Tan at Revolution Human Performance gym. We had all the ninjas out.

Garden is ready to accept life and produce a bumpin crop. Turned it with a pitchfork to get 1' deep then top dressed with alfalfa meal to add nitrogen and avoid salt that other fertilizers can be high in. Then tilled it up into buttery smooth chocolate froth soil. The plant are gonna love it! #yycfood #yycgarden #gardening #farmvoice #microfarm #urbanfarming

The final shipment of seeds for the backyard farm are in. ~50 species growing this year, or trying to at least. I learned my favourite Japanese word last night after eating ramen with my host who is a language PhD. It has no translation into any other language. The word is KOMOREBI which is used to describe the light that filters through the moving leaves of a forest canopy. #language #Japan #words #gardening #forest #travel #airbnb
