Most times when I want to write a poem, my brain just starts thinking in iambic pentameter until I have a good opening line. Poetry brain has been fast asleep for a few weeks now and I am pretty sure it's the stress.
Plot twist: Writing poems helps me de-stress.

Currently working on a tote bag made of a pair of jeans. I find upcycling to be a way to give your clothes a new life. This is going to be a Christmas gift for one of my friends and if all goes well I might make more. Alongside my progress is the template I'm using.
This inspired me to style an outfit, with both feminine and masculine stylings, surrounding a denim tote bag. (All pictures were found on Pinterest)

A denim tote bag is incredibly versatile in how it could be styled. And if you're concerned about how it would look with denim on denim I would consider wearing jeans of an opposite wash. So, the masculine fit dark wash jeans with a light wash denim bag. But I think matching the denim to the bag could look equally cool. Either way, I think a denim tote bag is a cool way to upcycle old jeans.

Hii!!! I'm starbot! I use he/they/she pronouns and I’m a genderfluid college student with a love for fashion! I love fashion history and learning about trends. My personal style takes inspiration from everything: fetish goth, ‘90s grunge, maximalism, preppy, 2000s, etc. I love thrifting and upcycling too!
As a queer Latino who grew up in a very white Italian town, I felt like I didn’t belong long before I came out. It took me a while to figure out who I was, and fashion was there with me. I’ve learned it’s okay to be different.
This blog is both an exploration of trends with moodboards, and my own personal fashion journey, which I hope can help you. I also hope in the future to post my other writing pieces as well :)
