John 14:1-3

Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in Me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.

Don't be perturbed by the various trials you are going through. Jesus will be with you to the end. Do not lose hope.

Heaven is a real place. It's a place where we can live with our Lord forever and ever. There's no pain , no sorrow, no worry, no poverty, no sickness or worry there.

Paul describes this place in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

What glorious hope for those who trust in Jesus!

Every time I watch the sunset, I think of you. When the moon is out, glowing quietly, i think of you. When it rains, I miss you even more, because I want to share every downpour with you. I want us to run through puddles, get soaked without a care, and laugh like we’re seven years old and the world is brand new. In the lyrics of my favorite songs, I see your face, soft, familiar, unforgettable. When I taste your favorite food, it feels like you’re sitting right beside me. Even in the loudest crowds, it’s only you on my mind. At midnight, I sit on my balcony, the world hushed and still, and I think of you. There are times when we are in bad shape because of illness or life circumstances and we need the prayers of others to hold us up and encourage us. We may not even be able to pray on our own behalf because of our situation. That is when I believe, God calls Christians to pray on behalf of others. This kind of praying requires commitment on the part of the person doing the praying. It is not just a quick one time prayer, but rather a request that is brought before the Lord many times until the person being prayed for sees results.

Let’s remember to pray for others. It’s a great privilege to enter God’s presence and intercede for them. Our prayers may be the very thing that God will use to see them through their crisis.

I don't love casually. When I love, it's fierce. It's my soul ripped wide open and raw. It's my whole heart on display. It's all I have and everything I know, handed over to you, like a gift. And I hope you unwrap it gently.
