My Little Morty!

Morty Smith is a flightless pegasus. He has pale blue coverts, which he inherited from his grandmother.

Morty has had a cutie mark since birth. No one is sure what it means. It is a spiral of yellow circles that are almost invisible against his pale yellow coat. Sometimes his cutie mark can be seen glowing faintly.

Summer Smith is a unicorn with a stubby, round horn. She has feathers on her hooves and ears that she inherited from her grandmother. Her magic is yellow.

Summer gained her cutie mark— an alien walkie-talkie— when she "did a Die Hard" and saved Rick and Morty from being killed at Blips and Chitz.

Beth Smith is a unicorn with a long, curved horn, which she inherited from her father. She has feathers in her ears that she inherited from her mother. Her magic is white.

Beth gained her cutie mark— a paw-print with stitches— at a young age when she discovered her talent for treating animals' injuries.

Jerry Smith is an Earth pony. No one really knows where he got his cutie mark, but he does really love apples. No relation to the Apple family.

Diane Sanchez is a pegasus with a fully-feathered tail, feathers on her hooves, and feathered ears. She has pale yellow primaries and secondaries.

Diane gained her cutie mark— a set of three purple paw-prints— as a young filly. It is unknown how she obtained it.

Rick Sanchez is a unicorn with a long, twisted black horn and furred hooves. He has a small beard and fur in his ears. His magic is lime green.

Rick gained his original cutie mark as a young colt, but when he finally created a functioning portal spell, a new cutie mark— a green portal— overtook his entire flank, swallowing up his old one.

Okay first season watch thoughts up to Rick Potion #9. Their dynamic was like decent?? 😭 LIKE

And…

The amount of screen recordings I took every time stuff like this happens. Like where did they fall off? Not sure if it was mentioned in the S5 finale (Haven’t watched it in awhile lmaoo) but maybe“Rick realizes Morty was Prime’s grandson then he thinks of it as an irrational attachment and shoves it down” (huge on the quotes cause my friend notice that. Credit to her not me B)- well I said some of it beforehand too eh)

At the same time, yes he could’ve been drunk but I felt like some of that feeling was genuine. It’s so hard to grasp sometimes.

For example- M. Night Shaym-Aliens! Was Rick just acting playful and sorta spilling things like “But they make a big mistake, they drag you into this and now they’re gonna pay” and the crystal fight but also the ending of that episode? Who knowsss~

A lot of it was shown though through “Lawnmower Dog” and “Meeseeks and Destroy” which felt genuine. Episode 1 is a maybe. That episode felt odd to me but also fun ig. The atmosphere in Rick Potion #9 felt tense. Definitely started fallen off on Morty’s end with “Close-Rick encounter” but when does Rick start acting like an asshole?? Probably figure out with the rest of the watch.

These polls made me really want to watch every RnM in order. Lies on the "every" cause the more I think about watching Rickdependence spray, the more war flashbacks come in my head- I would vomit if I ever watch that episode again 😭

Anyways- maybe ill do my own personal ranking/tier list every time I finish a season and take notes/ screenshot silly frames. Wish me luck watching my least favs😗✌🏽

I can’t keep my mouth shut for this but I got another RNM bracket poll idea. Not episodes or characters but songs 👀 👀- next month though. Let my brain prep on something else other than RnM first and changing the icon to Unmortricken theme to celebrate woo!!

-So glad this competition was super fun and engaging! Ngl, the pre votes made me a bit nervous due to it having low submissions and then setting every thing was a ton of work due to the long titles but again thx you all for voting! I love hearing people’s thoughts and analytics to R&M so reading reblogs and comments made me chuckle and it was very nice to engage with the RnM fandom ✨ :)

-The fact that Close Rick counters and Ricklantis mix up, both most talked about episodes in the show, lost early in the competition shocked me a bit! They both brought something deep to the show.

-No one asked for Pickle Rick but testing and seeing if we pass the “pickle Rick stereotypical dude bro kinda stage” and seeing it was one of the lowest voted was a relieve (and if your favorite was pickle Rick. I mean I see it what you’re saying LOL).

-The vat of acid seems to also be a fan fav but in my opinion that episode was kinda a bummer because the way Morty was treated.

-So glad a Jerry episode got top 4

-Shocking but not that some of the top episodes was Rick Prime centric.

Did Unmortricken deserve to win over Rickshank Rickdemption ?

Depends on who you ask! Both have big wins. First off, this was the first time we saw Ian shine as Rick with both amazing performances with Rick and Rick Prime. Second, Evil Morty still gets a win even if Ricklantis mix up lost and also the start of the Morty and evil Morty bonding art YES! The soundtrack and fight sequence was just chef kiss. Is Morty good in this episode? He was decent. Anyways- I do say Rickshank Rickdemption was very good with its timing and characterization with Morty’s and Summer’s character really shines through here. Reading each reblog made me realize how both impactful these episodes are when they both first aired. Tbh, if I did watch Rickshank Rickdemption when it aired- maybe a vote?? The very first episode I watch of rnm was the S4 finale 😭- Unmortricken woke me up and hyped me up after a long day and that’s why it had my vote. I couldn’t stop yapping about it for days. Also the hug ughhh-

In conclusion, in my humble opinion- night family and the gay birdrick episode should’ve went higher 😭/lh

Since this is almost over what's your personal favourite episode? Personally I love so many but the ones off the top if my head are Fear No Mort, thats amorte and close rickcounters of the rick kind

I LOVE THIS QUESTION AHH! Thx you for askin’ 👀- Night family is my personal favorite because I love the mixture of the early seasons and later seasons humor and just the fact the humor is humor?? Like it’s trying to not be badly meta and just them saying random shit that moves the plot along! Morty’s “pow, pow, pow!”, “chewbacca!”, the podcast sequence “I have a solution that solves all of our problems”, the whole dish remaking sequence, Night Jerry, the end credits! Also Summer episode!?

It’s not perfect like this was the start of Morty being OOC like if he wasn’t lobotomized- he would totally react differently😔👊

Anyways if you were to ask me what my favorite episode was in 2021, it would One Crew over the Crewcoo’s Morty which I made a whole presentation on that way back uhhhhHHHHHH

Other fav episodes (top 4): The birdrick/ memory Rick one (Young Rick DID deserve ultimate Rick and we love two “lean on me” references in a show. Too lazy to look for the title-), Solaricks, Unmortricken, & fear no mort. Tbh Jacob Hair does direct the best episodes ✨✨
