G1 Bulkhead, something I did a few months ago. Wanted to get as close to the G1 cartoon style as I could. I've done one before that's a VW van, but for this I went with the Legacy design.

More maps! These weren't for my game, but for one run by a friend. Her story takes place in a city called Anthelia, where a divide between fey and humans is threatening to erupt into violence and we have to figure out what's going on and stop it. Big fan of the locations she used and their descriptions, so I threw this together as a sort of fanart.
A speak easy called the Nosey Hare, Home Sweet Hoof and it's communal courtyard, and a doctor's clinic under a warehouse.

Something that I picked up over the course of the last year, was making maps for D&D using Inkarnate. It's a very fun little service, that I've found a lot of enjoyment in. Made these for my own purposes, but maybe you'll be able to use these too.
These are for my own game, where I took Ten Red Crows Press' "A Little Bit of Thievery" and adapted it into a larger scale heist thing.

As well as my take on the Temple of the Restful Lily, the location used by the mini adventure The Price of Beauty found in Candlekeep Mysteries!

Finally, I'm currently running Rime of the Frostmaiden, which I placed in Wildemount. This required some changing of that continent, and a new world map. I also made this take on the setting more early industrial revolution, and opened it with an avalanche and a train crash, ending with a boss fight in a cabin.

I'll share more in the future!

Well the bird app slowly imploding is as good a reason as any to come back. Hey everyone, been a while. Here's some stuff I did while I've been away. Two designs that never got picked up for production and one I did for fun.

Since Reformatted Ebrius was revealed at TFCon, I got permission to share the old design I did for him. This was a far more freestyle redesign that was more about capturing the personality and attitude of the character he is based on, rather than being a faithful adaptation of existing artwork. Unfortunately, it turned out to be too complex for it's intended size and price range. This along with an increasingly clear preference for comic accurate toys led to it being scrapped and replaced with what was revealed at TFCon this past weekend.

Part 2 of the Trophy Case! With a major focus on the MP Autobot lineup. And of course the king himself, Feral Rex. 2/2

Some pictures of the Trophy Case, the TV case I have a rotation of collectibles stored in. Trying to have a good looking display and avoid clashing is always going to be tricky though. 1/2.

Another look at Ebrius, this time in the colors of Omega’s bigger, correctly spelled brother! Also with a hint to the retool of this guy.

Transformers WFC/FOC Overlord.
Based on the design by Dick Grinwis of the renegade Decepticon general, in the style of the Highmoon Transformers games. Loved the design since I first saw it, Overlord is one of my favorite villains, and I am now at a point where I am confident in my 3D modeling skills to try my hand at bringing it to life. Succeeded pretty well I think, very pleased with how this turned out.
Modeled in 3DS Max, rigged in Maya, textured in Photoshop, rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2.
Textures spread out over sets as per the Highmoon style: Head, Arm, Torso, Leg, Chainsaw, Gun, Tank, Jet. Diffuse/normals/specular/gloss. Polycount is around 20K for the character model, 9k for the jet and tank.
Original design: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-fan-art/817503-wfc-foc-overlord.html

Ultra Magnus model is ripped from the game, obtained thanks to the contributors on the Facepunch forums, all credit to the original artists.

Soldier of Louma. Finally got around to finishing this guy. A studycase I took on during the last month of my internship, to get some practice at turning an existing character design into a 3D character model. Had to drop it for the past semester to focus on my school project, but with that over and done with I had the chance to wrap this guy up! Character design by the talented Wan Yie Jim. Check out her stuff, she does cool things. https://wanyie.artstation.com/ Major props to my internship survivor, Krijn Hakkert, for helping me out with advice on this. You rock dude.
Programs used were Zbrush, Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, 3DSMax and Marmoset Toolbag 2. Final model is around 20k tris.

Closer and cloooseeeeerrrrr Just gotta add some additional undercarriage stuff and extensions for the wings/engines (so they don’t just free float) and then it’s on to texturing. UV unwrapping will be such a headache with this one, but it will be so worth it. ….the extra cockpit windows give it such a dumb goofy grinny face and I am not sure if that is a good thing or not…..

Feels good to be doing something big in 3D again after a project that only had me doing 3D to figure out perspectives and angles for a 2D crowd game. Coming back to a project from waaaay back in my first year, the first real big thing I made in 3D, an update/redesign to show how far I’ve come.

Got my hands on Marmoset Toolbag 2 and dicked around a bit with it. Yeah, I think I love this program. So many more features then the first one, and that physically based renderer is just delicious.
