Fredrik von Salmiakki is a warforged warrior who gained his knighthood by being adopted in the Salmiakki noble family. Nowadays he travels the lands doing brave deeds in order to make his brother (a human called Victor) proud. 👑
I’m playing Fredrik in a Candlekeep Mysteries campaing and having so much fun. As a character he's very brave but bit stupid so he's easy to talk to do almost anything by just saying it will be a brave deed and very knightly to do.
In the last session he got possessed by a ghost and started attacking the rest of the party. 👻 Suddenly everyone remembered how my whole character build was “an indestructible tank that can hit REALLY HARD.”
✨ dancing lights and prestidigitation ✨ fantine meets the faerie dragons!
we found a secret house (just like in The Phantom of the Opera!) with a secret garden (just like in The Secret Garden!) and fantine met some new fae friends and started a dance party! (just like in... pretty much every musical tbh)
fantine has a running bit of comparing everything to musical theatre — even calling all architectural details "set design", all items "props", and all fashion "costumes" — bc that's faer point of reference for everything, having grown up in a commune dedicated specifically to musical theatre (and spying, but that's lore for another post)

id: a digital illustration in a bright, sketchy style, of fantine in a garden casting sparkles into the air while two baby faerie dragons swirl above faer. the picture is drawn from above, looking down. the garden has a stone floor and rows of long wooden planter boxes. fantine is a fairy with brown hair up in pigtails, wearing a red half-cape and a green dress. faer arms are outstretched and fae is smiling wide. the faerie dragons are bright red with little white spikes down their spines and butterfly wings in yellow and orange. their dancing lights are warm, soft circles of bokeh, while fantine's sparkles are shaped like four-pointed stars and are cyan, magenta, and yellow. id ends.
A few more witchlight trinkets in that Souls-inspired style from Decima's adventures in the feywild.
Current goings on, solved a pop up book murder mystery and consequently did some time travel. Weird.
Pretending to be an "Emissary from Jin" whomever that is.
Decima is good at the Hurdy Gurdy.
Used rage to churn butter.
There are a few more but I'm spacing them out while I settle into new job, and deal with the aforementioned trinket file being corrupted. If I can manage to fix it I'll make even more. Though i worry I'll have to either stop or remake/cobble together a template if I can't fix it.
💛 The Home for Wayward OCs: The Order of the Immortal Lotus 💛
This one is a fake recruitment poster from the Order of the Immortal Lotus, a group from the DnD adventure by the same name! It’s part of the Candlekeep Mysteries. I had a lot of fun talking about the setting with Daniel!
The bold adventurers are off to Wysteria vale, where you can see the ominous manor house from the market.
This is made combining the citadel and fantasy village (and etc) sets from battle systems. The outside is mostly citadel, the inside and the rooves are from the village.
The one downside is that they are all made for smaller buildings, not the d&d adventure manor houses in which each room is big enough to have a fight in.
our last Candlekeep sesson out of context (context under cut cause im a liar actually lmao)
so the party went to Waterdeep because of Book Reasons and Kirke, my wizard half-elf character, found out that her mom (who basically left her with her noble father 8 years ago and promptly vanished) has been in Jarlaxle's Drow Mafia basically giving them a style make over and... It turns out... he Cares A Lot About Her Mom.
anyways she might just be a mafia heiress now lmao :D
