Another,,,, a little animation I started working on as a character test! Been working on designing this guy and developing their Lore for a while (several years T^T) and I'm very excited to do more with them very soon! I feel like this captures their personality pretty well, but looking to keep refining this going forward :]

Long time no post! Anyways here's an OC ref I updated this week! He's a weird old guy who sometimes gets joy out of tormenting strangers (he's that bored)... He also has some plant manipulation powers which will come in their own ref sometime in the future!

Since it's halloween today I wanted to make a little Ruby piece!! Sorry it's a bit rushed I've been busy this week :D This one has been a tad experimental but I'm really happy with the results!

Did some animal drawings in and out of a wildlife park over the weekend! It's been great seeing all the critters there, drawing and hanging out! A great way to start a new sketchbook, too :)

Small Osamu Tezuka-style Warriors OC doodle I did for a MAP collab! Very heavy Kimba influence on this one, but also drawing a lot from other works' styles as well (namely Wansa, Brave Dan and Tiger Land)!

Small animation WIP! When in doubt about what to animate, return to doggo run cycle ig XD

Hopefully the final version will be very different to this, planning to test some fun compositing stuff in Harmony with this one :3

Some rough animation I just finished for a MAP part! I've been working on it bit by bit over the last few months. This has been a really gear-turning technical challenge but I enjoyed it so much (honestly my favourite type of stuff to animate is the more technical, haha)!

Just a little design test sketch I wanted to add some colour to! I really like how the general feel of the whole drawing came along (though head profiles are still hard 😄) Still not much research for the costume but I'd love to add to it as I go along developing this.

Also added some shading variations and the flat colour version since I liked how they looked too!

I did the original drawing in pencil and did cleanup & colour in Photoshop.

Some drawings for a story concept I'm thinking about! Just a totally normal and well-adjusted doggo :)

I sketched and inked this traditionally and coloured in photoshop! I really enjoyed the whole process (esp playing with the texturing and inking) and I'd love to play around w some softer colouring styles for this sort of art sometime!
