This was mainly an excuse to draw Peridot with her crutch but then it turned into a lil comic >0<

I think they both catch feeling pretty early on. Peridot goes to Amethyst to talk about it because like,, she's never been romantically attracted to anyone before and she's kinda freaking out

ON THE OTHER HAND

Lapis (in the beginning) is also terrified of these feelings. She's terrified of commitment and horrified of ruining what currently is a great friendship. So instead of just dealing with her blossoming feelings for Peridot she suppresses them and reminds herself that she 'has someone special' and resorts to going to mack town with her situationship Jasper. <- Which this leads to Peridot being even more confused and hurt BUT this eventually gets them to TALK!!

I don't condone what Lapis is doing btw!!. Lapis is a messy person, and coming from someone who also has BPD sometimes the easiest thing to do is make the EASIEST thing 100x more complicated and dance around it by doing unnecessary things TLDR; her acting like this feels the realest and kinda just makes sense to me.

I MIGHT WRITE FOR THIS AU TO BETTER EXPLAIN MY THOUGHTS!!!! TBH!!
