The one thing bg3 was sorely lacking was a ballroom quest in the upper city that ends in the final battle against Gortash. But alas.

You know it wasn’t until 2024 that I got into rpg games (unless you count my early teens playing Skyrim, but she didn’t know wtf was going on)

Not only have I enjoyed every game I’ve played, but I’ve gotten so much more from the art I’ve made based on the games. More importantly, I’ve gotten all of YOU.

I never expect any video or post to blow up, but I understand marketing and metrics enough to know that posting in a certain popular fandom will gain more traction. That was never my goal with the BG3 videos. My goal was to show my love for the media the only way I knew how— art.

To have all of you resonate with the stories I put together and the comics I make on a whim has truly changed me as an artist. I’ve always wanted to make comics, but it wasn’t until the level of feedback I got from my audiences that I knew I wanted to tell stories.

So I suppose this post is a thank you letter to the rpg games that led me down this path. A path that will soon introduce my own original story to the world, Unholy Miracle.

I know I don’t respond to people as much as I should, but know that I read every comment, message, and repost. I save the long dms that people send me telling me that my art inspired them, or that a video I posted impacted them emotionally. I like to say that even if I was alone in an empty room with no one watching I’d still make art, and I would without a doubt. But sharing art I with the world is such a fulfilling experience. It’s like the grown up version of handing your mom a drawing you made and hoping she’ll put it on the fridge. ❤️

So I played the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for the first time.

I am DEVASTATED.

The last time I cried this hard for a game was DA Veilguard, specifically for the Fade prison sequence. If you know, you know😭

So shoutout to BioWare, I guess, for making me feel genuine loss for characters I grew intensely attached to.

But truly though, what a fucking great experience. I probably won’t ever play again, and not because I didn’t enjoy every second of it, but because I need at least 13 years to recover from that.

I knew two spoilers going in (because be for real this game is over a decade old)

Found this BG3 indie animation vid that blew my mind. An example of magnificent story telling. It crushed my soul and made me Fully Invested in a character I’d never met before.

Hello! Your art is absolutely gorgeous and I'm suddenly obsessed with Gale x your OC. I found the video of Visera trying to beg god Gale to let her go on Youtube and it about took me out (complimentary). It crushed my heart in less than a minute. Truly stellar. I sent it to all my friends who play BG3 and some who don't and it had a similar effect and we were all enthralled by the story telling capacity of it. Your animation and your art is so captivating. He DID miss this

I think it’s good for Gale and Visera’s relationship that she also has a toxic ex. Albeit, she didn’t know she did, but at least now every time Gale brings up Mystra she can bring up Gortash.

I’m not one of those people that want a Gortash romance because this man SUCKS. He hurt my bbg Karlach, and just committed so many atrocities, it’s hard for me to not punch him in the face as soon as we confront in Wyrm Rock. BUT I definitely see the appeal of Dark Urge x Gortash. It’s like the perfect dark romance. Evil Couple is definitely one of my favorite tropes.

Queen Ariel, mother of sea dragons and slayer of sea witches. 🧜‍♀️

Need a version of the Little Mermaid where Ariel does NOT want to be where the people are, is cursed with legs, and has to find a way to break the curse and return to her throne to defeat the witch that usurped her. Maybe there’s a heart-of-gold prince there to help her?

It’s Mermay! Last year I drew Visera as the seductive but deadly siren she is, and Gale as a professor who might like going for a swim with her. My early obsession with Atlantis and Pirates of the Caribbean makes me want to drop everything and make a pirate/fantasy comic. But alas, one project at a time.

Visera and Gale, the fictional couple I will never get over. I imagine this is the end of the conversation after Visera tries to break things off with Gale, afraid that her urges will cause her to hurt him. But he argues with a very long list of facts as to why her heart is good, and hopes that the longer he yaps, the sooner she’ll start to believe him.

I think they deserve a happy ending.

I love when characters get an ending they didn’t plan, but were content with anyway. Gale wanted godhood, to rise above Mystra and prove himself to her and anyone else who doubted him (not knowing the only one doubting him was himself). And Visera, poor Visera. Once a Scion of Murder, all she wanted (or was created to want) was death in her father’s name.

To end up here, alive and with each other, is a Good Ending.

Fallout 4 is a TRIP y’all. I had this idea that after everything, Nora— or in my case Roxanne— goes to tell Nate everything. About Shaun, about the world, and maybe she wonders how he would have done things differently, had he been the Sole Survivor instead of her.

I think after everything, she deserves a drink or two.

Why choose Minrathos or Treviso? Why not have both?

Canonically I choose Lucanis as a Crow, but you bet your ass I romance Neve up until I commit to him. Their flirting and romance doesn’t bother me, I think mostly because in my delulu headcanon Neve and Rana would end up together in a classic rogue detective/by-the-books cop dynamic, and Lucanis would get therapy.
