i have so many hobbies and interests but each day the four horsemen (instant gratification, shortened attention span, procrastination, exhaustion) grab me by the throat and shake me until i collapse in my comfy bed

dating lately has been nothing short of disappointment.

doesn’t matter how many dates i go on, how many matches i get or if i even start to have crushes on anyone, it always gives the same outcome.

they aren’t ready, we don’t mesh well irl, they are a complete dick, bad at communicating or just simply ghost me.

i’m just tired and these past few days just being at home visiting my parents has just made me jumpstart into a different part of my life. i’m planning to workout a lot more, watch what i eat, drink plenty of water and just focus on myself just a tad more (since im doing it already).

dating just sucks right now and it’s hard to put my faith into anyone or anything.

here is to the rest of the year being single and just enjoying life. love will come when i least expect it to. i’ll just be here playing my little video games, hanging with my friends/family, attending concerts, excelling at my new jobs and putting effort into ME.

I hope that when the day comes that Palestine is free, people don't expect everything to suddenly be alright overnight, because that won't be the end of it. There's this thing called intergenerational trauma that as an Indigenous person on Turtle Island, let me say, can fuck a People up for a long time. It will take generations to recover from such catastrophic and longstanding colonial violence. And when current leftist allies start back-peddling on their support and villainizing Palestinians if they aren't "perfect citizens" (a measurement that is highly westernized anyway), remember that trauma, especially on such a large scale, does things to people. What I'm saying is, the support shouldn't end there.
