Reading an old favorite fic about Blaine having a sort-of panic attack did not make my own panic attack feel any better. But it's still a really good fic. Fortunate Son by xsaturated "Blaine doesn't talk about his family." An old fic about Blaine's first dinner with the Hummels. It really doesn't go well.

NELLIE. Nellie is my favorite contestant who is still on the show. Dani Shay was my initial favorite, but Nellie is so wonderful. I have her character for Glee so perfectly imagined in my head. If I ever write the sequel to Stay Lost On Our Way Home, she and Dani are a huge part of it.

The Apple logo is actually not based on Alan Turing! On an episode of QI (Series I, Episode 13, Intelligence) Stephen Fry told the story of Alan Turing, and said that he once had an opportunity to speak to Steve Jobs and ask whether that rumor of the apple was true. Jobs said, "It isn't true, but God we wish it were!" I wish it was, too. It's a great coincidence.

This story is lovely and strange and I spent all day dipping into it between things I was doing, because it was also difficult to put down for long.
