I’m just spitballing here but;

>You're a time traveller who decides to settle in the seventies

>You usually hang at a specific bar because you know nobody questions you showing up out of the blue there

>Queen is booked for a gig there one night, your attention is captured by the drummer we all know and love

>You catch him just after the show and then go into various futures to see how he lives his life, in one of them (only a few weeks after you’ve met him) he’s almost killed until you step in to save him

>He feels in debt to you but you assure him you’re good

>You end up bonding with him and ask him if he’d like to head out sometime

>Roger agrees and ends up liking you quite a lot

>Eventually you guys start going out and yah-dah yah-dah yah-dah

Small Details:

>Roger doesn’t know about the time travelling aspect of your life but he always feels like you know something he doesn’t — perhaps he confronts you about it

>You use time travel pretty much everyday to help you sleep in and stay up and all sorts of stuff

>Roger finds out about the time travelling when you come back from the future wearing Queen merchandise that hasn’t been made yet, when he tries to touch the shirt in confusion he gets burnt by it. You trash the shirt and promise Roger not to say anything

>You two end up in a fight over time travel-y things all the time good old fashioned lover smooches

late night froger ideas:

1) cuddling under blankets watching clockwork orange, both very drowsy but still attached to each other. that really hot but still nice kind of heat under the covers, not necessarily a romantic encounter.

2) tired roger trying to sleep on the sofa, freddie singing something softly (a lullaby maybe) and brushing hair from roger’s face. roger inevitably falls asleep and leans on fred’s shoulder. more likely to be a romantic idea.

3) freddie getting tired after a show and sitting down with rog and drinking too much wine. probably romantic and/or suggestive, with roger having surprisingly less wine.

4) last but not least, a very drunk roger leaning on freddie’s piano and asking him to sing something. freddie does just that and ends up teasing him but it’s only for a little while. i’d imagine that they end up both pretty drunk and wake up cuddling and get confused, even though they know nothing happened previously.

none of these are era specific, if you wanna use one go wild. but credit me please!
