Here is my contribution to day one of Rogue and Gambit Week "Living in New Orleans" prompt! Cutting it a little close but it's been a busy day. I drew the background first and then proceeded to blur and cover it up. lol, I should have done the background last but it seemed important to the prompt.

My friend is making some custom shirts for my shop (limited release for Romy week) I wanted to put together something fun for the shirts so a couple nights back I sketched up a quick drawing of Rogue and Gambit. Initially I wanted to draw a different pose for each shirt, but alas I needed sleep instead. Anyways, check out my shop if you want to snag a t-shirt! I got the coolest package last week from @romy-con!! (I think it was last week? Its been insane over here dealing with busted pipes. I can't keep track of anything) Anyways, I submitted a poster for the poster design contest and I got runner up (there were some amazing designs submitted, definitely go check them out!!). Been itching to draw again. It's that time of year where I've realized once again I've over committed on my homemade Christmas gifts and I'm rushing to get everything done. Needed a bit of a break though so I did a quick fun drawing for my own enjoyment. 😊

After Rogue and Gambit’s romantic trip to Europe quickly descends into violent chaos and pits them in battle between a hateful mob and a mutant with the face of a demon but the heart of a saint, the X-Couple doesn’t come away unscathed, but at least they can finally relax in Paris. However, things don’t go smoothly in Paris, either—and after an argument between Gambit and Rogue cuts their romantic lunch date short, the two split up.

But Gambit isn’t one to quit on love so easily, and he intends to make sure he and Rogue have one last perfect romantic day in Paris…even if it nearly kills him.

Here's the drawing I did for the Rogue and Gambit Zine! (@rogue-gambit-fan-zine) I'm so proud to have been apart of the project and I had an absolute blast working with such a fun group of people. :] Honestly such a highlight of 2023/2024! Special thanks to @awarriorqueen who wrote a super sweet short story that takes place after the "Nightcrawler" episode. We had the best of times working in tandem on the story and art. Life has been a bit hectic but I did want to join in at least one of the days for Rogue and Gambit Week! Here's a quick sketch of an AU where we have mermaid Rogue and pirate Gambit! Tried to give them their colors and have Gambit keep his coat. It's a bit darker than what I originally had in mind but I wanted it to be a bit mysterious.
