in orange town, when luffy stops buggy from interfering with zoro and cabaji’s fight, he says ゾロの野望に手出すな/zoro no tatakai ni te dasuna! (“keep your hands off/don’t interfere with zoro’s fight!”)
however, the word tatakai (fight) is written with the kanji 野望/yabou, which means ‘ambition/aspiration.’ luffy’s not just protecting zoro’s fight from interference, but also his dream- because for zoro those things are one and the same, and luffy gets that.
