Haiii, couple more redos and also new kits from Wind! First is Ashfur, literally the only thing I changed in his main design is the fur length on his head, everything else is exactly the same. I've been drawing him with this kinda longer fur style for a while, I've just made it official. Also went ahead and made a version for him in TBC, the way I do Starclan and Dark Forest cats meant that he probably had special features, I just didn't want to figure out what those were until now. Technically all Starclan cats should have a white glow and all Dark Forest cats a red, but I usually don't put it in for simplicity's sake. Next is Flametail, again the only thing that really changed was I made him fluffier. And ever so slightly changed his colors. The main reason why I wanted to do him was because everyone else in the original got an update, so I felt he should get one too.

Wind gave us new kits!! I'll probably need to draw them again once they get full names but oh well. First are Rapidkit, Floatkit, and Troutkit of Riverclan. They are Haven and Sneeze's new litter, making them Splash and Fog's siblings (MEGA INTERESTING 👀👀👀). Rapidkit has a mullet like their big brother Splash :)) Then are Grasskit, Branchkit, and Leafkit of Windclan. They are Feather and Oat's new litter, making them Flutter, Song, and Whistle's siblings. Only Leafkit has a canon description and gender of all six so far, so we'll see how accurate my predictions are.

Redesigns! I was kinda debating on holding off on these until after Wind came out (I'm hearing there are some new characters) but eventually just decided to post them now. First up are the twins and their other sibling, Spottedleaf, Redtail, and Willowpelt. Wanted to try out Spottedleaf Dark Mode, it was fun putting in a bunch of hearts in her design. If Spotted is Dark Mode, then I wanted Redtail to be Light Mode, and ofc Willowpelt can't miss out on all the wacky cheek fur action. Brackenfur's next, and his has been a long time coming. I think I liked his old design for like a week before it started to bother me, but I could never think of how to make it better. The chest fur is meant as a reference to his father, and I did most of the color picking from Honey and Seed. Then is Clear Sky/Skystar, and Thunder(star). I drew like 10 slightly altered versions of Clear Sky for this, and ofc the second one is what I go with. Cut down heavily on the white spotting, also tried to keep in the 'bloodsplatter' white on his face, it's just shifted over. Also one of the books described him with tufted ears which I thought was a wild idea, I'd like never seen any designs of him with tufted ears, so idk where they got that from. Generally if I do tufted ears, the ears are longer and pointier already, but I couldn't part with this particular ear shape for Clear Sky, so here we are. If I was changing Skystar I knew I would have to change Thunderstar. Most things stayed the same, actually, but I added stuff too. Tried to do a lightning bolt on his tail and above the paws, the tail took me like 100 tries to get right so we'll see how long that lasts. His white marking on the face is also meant to be lightning bolt-esque, while also looking like Clear Sky's white marking, just to make the two look more alike. Because seriously. How does grey cat + grey cat = bright orange/red??? They had no reason to make Thunder's mother a grey cat, she was alive for like one book and had no other ties to the clans. Clear Sky and Thunder also have a similar body shape, except Clear Sky is shorter than his son.

the color palette used in this art by @rosemist50 is super pretty!! rosemist also has an adorable artstyle, i really love the joy in the characters' (berrylight and harvestfern) expressions. very cute art of two gals here <3

Few more redesigns, yippie!!! First up are the twins, Hazeltail and Mousewhisker. I have been growing dissatisfied with Mousewhisker's design, and figured if I was redesigning him then I had to redesign Hazeltail as well. So I did. Next is Antpelt! There's a PMV on YouTube of Antpelt set to the song 'Brave as a Noun', and I seriously think it might be one of the best Antpelt designs I've ever seen. The color palette was inspired by that. I've seen some designs where his tail looks like an ant body, so I added that on as well :3. The main reason I wanted to redesign him was because I was tossing around an idea to make a Furzepelt PMV with the song Perfume by Lovejoy, and Antpelt was going to show up a lot at the start, so I had to go look at his design and yeesh. Up next is Tigerheartstar! His design really didn't change, I just wanted to fix up the colors. I had to pull up his reference for a drawing and the color palette I used originally really bothered me, so he got added to the redo list. Tried to make him more red-toned, like his father. Then finally is Pouncestep. Pouncestep has the exact same design, all of her other siblings had an update so I figured it was only fair to give her her own as well. Made her colors slightly warmer to match her mother's new slightly warmer colored design.

Some redesigns!! Finally got some time to do these. First up is sisters Dovewing and Ivypool. Dovewing's actual design didn't actually change all that much, the main thing I wanted to fix was the shapes, also put in some form of freckles. Ivypool changed completely, basically what happened was like months ago I sketched out an Ivypool design and thought 'yeah this is a lot better'. Also fun fact Ivypool and Dovewing share the same palette here :3. Then I also changed Thriftear a lot. Some people like to draw Bris as a sort of tortie, but I could never really get behind that. But I can get behind Thrift being a sort of tortie. Flipclaw is also basically the same, the main thing I wanted was the little heart on his forehead. Also adjusted the lighter color to be warmer, and changed his eye color to match Ivypool's. Then next is Frecklewish from Thunderclan, I never really liked her first design, and it was more a placeholder than anything because I couldn't figure out how I wanted her to look. But I figured it out now! Gave her the eyebrows so they don't skip a generation. And finally are Ruby and Socks, Scourge's littermates. I wanted to make Ruby a tortie, but like obnoxiously orange/red coloring. Toned it down a little at the end, but the vision is still there. For Socks, mostly just wanted his foreleg markings to extend up so it looks like he's actually wearing socks, I don't know how the color change happened.

Designs for new cats in A Starless Clan: Thunder! They're all Cats of the Park. First is Rook and Scruff, Riverstar's No. 1 fan and an old guy that's kinda cool actually. Next is Wafflepaw!!! And... Wasp? The two that Frostpaw and Nightheart took back home. After is Bee, Frostpaw's therapist, and Molly, a cat with "a clever sense of humor". Then Chalk and Firefly, both ex-kittypets, implied to be mates but could also be taken platonically which is cool. Firefly's tag is meant to be that Minecraft firefly that was never added that was just two pixels. Firefly was pregnant and said she'd name her kits Frost and Night, so I just threw them in there too, why not. Then is Lark and Marlow, and Lark's kits Weevil and Peg.

Finally here are four she-cats that had minor design changes relating to the plot, two aren't from the book but I thought I'd just put them in anyway. These design changes were much too minor for me to justify making whole new fullbodies, so headshots it is 👍 We got Squirrelstar (flight), Sparrowstar (Fur), and Nightstar (RC) for new/confirmed leaders, and Curlfeather with the rare honor of being a Dark Forest cat AND a woman. I think it's just the absolute coolest that Sparrowstar and Owlstar are siblings and became leaders of different clans, not only leaders but both are the 2nd leaders of their clans. You can just feel the potential!!!!

hjkjhj i just had to do the design challenge again when i learned there was a canonical wc character called Scooby! i think these are the first designs that ppl have done so far. rly fun takes! i can't wait to see more! honestly might do this again if i get enough Scooby designs lol. i rly enjoy doing this challenge!

anyway, here's a fun fact! The actual character Scooby Doo gets his prefix from a cartoon seal character by the same name. they actually have the same va too! Don Messick. he gets the suffix from a song that went "dooby dooby doo"

Part 3 of Riverstar's Home bc I ran out of tags. Also included are some DotC kits from the Warriors website family tree. Again, slight spoilers below the cut.

Starting off with Kite Wing and Finch Song. Kite Wing was a loner by the name of Kite, and joined Riverclan while actively giving birth to her kits Willow Stream, Trout Fur, and Snow Tail. Finch is Owl's daughter, and was living with the Cats of the Park until she met Riverstar. The two became mates and later had Ripple Shine, Dusk Smoke, and Arc Shadow. Pale Sky and Tiger Tail are Bright Stream's unborn kittens she had with Clear Sky when she died, and Rumble and Lightning are Clear Sky and Storm's kits, Thunderstar's siblings.

Part 2 of Riverstar's Home cats! Again, small spoiler warning for some discussion below the cut.

To start out with, we have Cleo and her mate Casper, and their kits Hunter and Scout. The marking on Casper's back is meant to look like a ghost. Also I tried to make Hunter look like Hunter from TOH, but I don't think it worked super well. Next are Hopper and Scooby, two cats who joined the Cats of the Park, and then Sparrow, Grub, and Snail. Sparrow and Grub were in Slash's group, but joined the Cats of the Park, and Snail was in Slash's group and stayed a rogue.

Riverstar's Home cats! Small spoiler warning for light discussion of the cats below the cut.

First up is a few redesigns of Dart, Shine, and Flutter because now they aren't just featureless characters that are mentioned once and never again. I really liked Dart's design, so I kept it mostly the same. Shine got a good change, and Flutter had a complete overhaul. I liked Arc's design the way it is, so I didn't change it. The Cats of the Park elders are next, with Owl, Rust, and Midge. Owl's daughter is Finch Song, she's in the next post. After them is a few more CotP, with Magda, Squirrel, Stoat, and Moth. Moth is described as both "soft-spoken" and "cheerful, sparkled with energy", which I thought was a bit strange. Up next is Mist, Night's brother, and Hawk, a rogue who bullies River Ripple and then disappears. I was pleasantly surprised when Mist stayed alive the whole book, he seemed like the perfect candidate to just die at some point. He and Night look very similar. After them is Hollow and Croak, two loners from proto-Riverclan that officially joined. I love Croak's name. And finally after them is four loners from proto-Riverclan that did not end up joining; Whistle, Silver, Sage, and Woodlouse. It was mentioned that Silver was the first one to start decorating the dens with shells and reeds (probably) and other stuff like that, so I gave her an accessory bc if she likes to decorate dens then she would probably like to decorate herself. Found out a little too late that a 'woodlouse' is a roly-poly/pill bug.

Even MORE redesigns haha. First up is Heatherstar, I never really liked her original design lol. I wasn't feeling super inspired and just had a hard time trying to find markings for her, so I kinda just slapped something down, called it a day, and made a note to redesign her sometime in the future. Which is now! Next is Breezepelt, his old design was just ugly lmao. Same with Sootfur, who is with his brother Rainwhisker. I didn't really mind Rainwhisker's fluff, but I think I like it more toned down like this. And then are Lightleap and Shadowsight! Can't really think of too much to say for them, glad the heart on Shadowsight's chest made a comeback, I kinda forgot I did that lmao.

More redesigns :3 First is Mousefur and Runningwind. I've wanted to redo Runningwind for a while, and also make Mousefur's design more interesting. Then is Finleap, who I also wanted to redo for a while. Then is Feathertail and Stormfur, Alderheart, and Whitewing. Alderheart's design is pretty much the same, I just really wanted to adjust the colors.

Figured it was high time to give these guys an update now that they have their warrior names. Most of them only got very minor changes.

First are Flutterfoot and Songleap of Windclan. Flutterfoot is exactly the same, and I changed Songleap's body pattern only slightly. Then is Appleshine and Woodsong, also Windclan. Again, Appleshine is exactly the same, and I changed Woodsong's eyes. Then is Wrenflight from Skyclan. This one I changed a bit more, made her more fluffy and more orange, also changed her eyes. Then is Bayshine and Myrtlebloom from Thunderclan. I made Myrtlebloom's colors less yellowy and gave them both that muzzle mark thing. Then finally is Fognose and Splashtail. Fognose is pretty much the same, I just gave her more swirls. Then Splashtail. Hoo boy. I completely redid his design, the old one was... old. It didn't fit him anymore. Included is also a small expression sheet of me making sure his design worked.

Tribe cats part two!!! First are Crag Where Eagles Nest and Talon of Swooping Eagle, both brothers and also Brook Where Small Fish Swim's brothers. After them is Rain That Rattles Stones, Snow Falling on Stones, Storm Clouds at Dusk, and Splash When Fish Leaps. Then there is Cloud With Star in Belly, Thorn That Grows in Cleft, Jagged Rock Where Heron Sits, and Star That Shines on Water. And then finally is Crest of Snowy Mountain, Moon Shining on Water, Moss That Grows by River, Swoop of Chestnut Hawk, Pebble That Rolls Down Mountain, and Screech of Angry Owl. Pebble and Screech are siblings. Also, Moon and Thorn were introduced by their eye color first and it was never specified who had green and who had amber eyes, sooo heterochromia it is :) The eyes are the same color between them.

First round of Tribe cats. I remember basically nothing about any of them lol. To start we have Cloud With Storm in Belly and her son Stoneteller (the one before Crag), and then Bird That Rides the Wind, who apparently is Stoneteller's niece. Then is Gray Sky Before Dawn, Mist Where Sunlight Shimmers, Night of No Stars (dope name) and her mate Sheer Path Beside Waterfall. Continuing on with Flight of Startled Heron and Rock Beneath Still Water, then two to-bes; Rain That Passes Quickly and Dark Shadow on Water. Then is Scree Beneath Winter Sky and Wing Shadow Over Water. I thought it'd be cool to give Wing 'wings'. Also Fall and Slant are here, two very background cats whom we don't even have full names for.

The rest of the clan cats!!! First is Riverclan, with Hollowflight, a Dark Forest trainee, and Ivytail, an elder in Twilight. Then is Foxnose and Shadepelt, two warriors who died during a fight against Darktail, then Dapplenose, Mistystar's apprentice, and the final Robinwing, who is kind, apparently. And Greenflower! Meant to nurse Featherkit(tail) and Stormkit(fur) but was Thanos-snapped out of existence. Then we move to Windclan with Oatwhisker and Darkfoot, two elders who missed each other by literally one book. Then is Boulderfur, Breezepelt's apprentice who dies in the Dark Forest battle, and Rushtail, who says some funny things to Crowpaw(feather). And Sunstrike!! Everyone's favorite Windclan Dark Forest trainee with a cool name. Then to Shadowclan, with Shrewfoot and Wasptail, and finally Olivenose.
