Sooo, the preview for Changing Skies: The Elder's Quest released... And with it so many new characters/character names!!! SO MANY. I counted and there's 21 new warriors and 18 new cats. So here are the new warriors! I speedran this after the preview was posted. There are six missing, and will be in a separate post bc I ran out of tags 😔 These designs are pretty much the exact same as the kits, with very minor changes, if at all.

Starting in Thunderclan there is Wafflepelt, Bristleclaw, Stemtail, and Graywhisker. Then in Shadowclan, Birchfeather, Bloompetal, Streamripple, Firbark, and Whisperbreeze. Bloompetal's personality in the excerpt is eveything I dreamed it would be. Then in Skyclan, Beesting (AHSHBDHB), Beetleshine, Ridgeglow, and Duskshine. And then Windclan (Part 1) is Stripeheart and Brookripple. Did we ever get a conformation on who the father is of them?

Alright, not new cats this time, but I'm not totally sure on the parentage on some of the other new cats, so I figured I'd go ahead and do adult designs for some of the cats who grew up between series, starting with the SpotStem litter (which are the last designs I have done so far). Up first, it's Stemtail!

Stemtail has no physical description given other than his pattern, so I came up with my own for him. He's a fairly average boy with thick medium fur. He's rather Brackenfur-ish in build. I imagine he has his tail sticking up straight like that a lot, hence the name.

For his pattern, Stemtail is described as an orange tabby tom. His design is the same as on his kit and apprentice ref sheets, though I added some stripes to his tail. I gave him a similar shade of ginger as his dad's ginger patches, a classic tabby pattern like his grandpas Thornclaw and Lionblaze, and since he has no canon eye color, his grandma Blossomfall's yellow eyes.

Overall, very happy with how he turned out. :D There's something very satisfying about drawing the kit version of a character, their apprentice version, and then finally being able to draw their full adult design.
