Was playing Stardew Valley last night, extremely high, and realized I wanted to install some mods. I'm not new to modding games but I'd never gotten into modding SV so I went to install SMAPI, and holy shit y'all.
The love and care that was put into designing this piece of sortware. You run it and it pops up a command prompt and *it has instructions for how to use a command prompt built in.*
This is the single friendliest piece of software I've ever encountered. There's a meticulous wiki page with screenshots of exactly what everything looks like, where to click, what to type, everything.
It's designed so literally anybody can do it.
And it's designed to not be scary to somebody who doesn't understand computers very well but wants to download mods for this cute little farming game. Deadass had me crying of the amount of compassion and *care* that a whole community put in to make it so accessible, for free.
Humans are good, actually, and you can't change my mind

Everyone is always saying "headfirst is better" or "feet first is better" or "hands first is better" when it comes to being nommed
Well I hereby declare that all three of them are wonderful and equally the best
Headfirst is classic, excellent way to show affection to your prey. Very good for giving your prey a few affectionate licks before sending them down
Feetfirst is better oriented for teasing, I think. You get to watch yourself disappear down your preds throat bit by bit, feeling their soft throat ripple and knead your legs downward as you're gently tugged into their soft safe belly
Hands first is probably the most comfortable way to go down, with the added bonus of being able to inspect and feel your preds maw, tongue and throat before you go down
All very nice uwu

What thing tends to make you the happiest in vore? Not necessarily tropes, just the little actions.
You already know this but I really like it when the pred purrs 🙂
I also like it when the pred talks to the prey, telling them they’re safe and cared for.

The Start of an Empire - 16
Chapter 16: A Hidden Shop in the Mountains
Summary: Beth receives mail inviting her to join the Adventurer's Guild. When she enters the mountains to accept, she finds a very unexpected creature in an unexpected spot.
Contains: Fear, panic, mentions of being eaten, dwarfish provided by a fan translation with the translation in the end notes, bandaged injury, and that should be it.
Wordcount: 3.2K
~~~
Beth was surprised at the amount of mail in her mailbox, all left by the mysterious mailman. The scent was one she was still not familiar with. She had just finished watering her field (her small amount of crops was a field in her eyes), and had been cleaning up some of the rocks and wood when she saw the mail in her box.
There was an ad from Pierre letting her know that he had started stocking fertilizers, and another ad behind it, dated a few days before, about getting a better backpack from Pierre. She blinked and shuffled both ads in her hands.
Did the mail person, whomever they might be, wait to send it to her until she had more mail?
There was a letter from Dad in the pile. Beth paused, and decided she’d open it later. It felt a little heavy. Like something was inside.
The final piece of mail was a letter that was sealed with a thick red wax seal. There was a crossed sword detail, and the return address said it was from the Adventurer’s Guild. The writing was a little scratchy, but legible.
‘Beth, I see you've been exploring the old mine. You've got the adventurer's spirit, that much I can tell.
If you can prove you’ve slain 10 slimes, you'll have earned your place in my adventurer's guild.
Be careful.
-Marlon’
Beth flipped the letter over. Nothing on the back.
She looked at her watch. It was still pretty early. She could pack a little lunch and head up the mountains. It’s not like she had anything in mind for the day. Maybe heading to the library to enjoy air conditioning. Maybe wandering around town. But heading to the mines sounded nice. It was cooler in the caves than out on the farm.
“I wonder if joining a guild’s anything like joining a union… it can't hurt to try it out. I can talk to Marlon about it once I’m up there.”
Pants meowed at her and tilted his head.
“Yeah, you’re going to have to be inside, honey.”
He protested with the most pitiful, squeaking meow that she had ever heard as she picked him up.
“I don’t want you getting hurt while I’m not here.”
Beth packed up a thermos of water, a couple veggie sandwiches, and a baggie of cereal. She stuffed it all in one pocket of her bag and made sure she brought her scythe and pickaxe and axe with her. A roll of bandages were shoved in her pocket and after making sure she was prepared for a trip to the mines at least three times, Beth set out.
Pants sat in the front windowsill, watching her as she left. She waved to him before making her way up the trail to the mountains.
As she was making her way up, she picked a couple of foragables, unsure if she should return home to store the handful of leeks and horseradish. She was just carrying them around when she ran into Linus. He was crouched near a bush, plucking off some bright red berries and dropping them into a wicker basket near his feet,
“Good morning, Linus.” Beth spoke up, hoping she wouldn’t startle him this time.
“Good morning, Beth.” Linus placed a handful of the berries into the basket. “It’s the start of salmonberry season, so I’m going to be very busy over the next few days.” He chuckled softly. “I’m sure you’re understanding that, as a farmer.”
“Salmonberries?” Beth tilted her head softly.
“Yes. There’s many berry bushes across the valley. I tend to the ones in the mountains, and they provide a good bounty for me in return.” Linus wiped his hands on his shirt and stood up. “I know there are plenty in Cindersap forest. Leah tends to forage them. I’m sure she will be willing to share.”
“Hmn. I’ll take note.” Beth gave him a small smile, and then shifted her bag a little bit. “Do you want a horseradish? Maybe a leek?”
Linus paused for a moment. “I would like the leek please.”
“Here. You can have it.” She put her little bundle of leeks in his hands.
“This is a great gift. Thank you!” Linus gave her a big smile. “Are you going down into the mines today?”
“Yeah. Marlon’s invited me to join the guild, and I need some materials for a furnace.” Beth shrugged. “I got nothing better to do.”
“Take care.” Linus made a little hand motion and then stooped to put the leeks in his basket. “If you do not return by sunset, I will look for you.”
“You don’t have to do that.”
“I would rather be assured that you are alright.” Linus gave her a soft slime. “You have a safe trip.”
“I’ll try. Good luck with your berries, Linus.”
The sun was starting to get hot, so it felt really nice to enter the caves. The shade felt nice, and the small breeze of air coming up from the ladder and the big entrance cooled Beth off nicely.
As she sat for a moment near the ladder entrance to the mines, Beth smelled something interesting. At first, she thought it was just the must of the air circulating from the various floors of the mine up to the surface. But it didn’t smell like anything she had ever smelled before. Not even like the mysterious mailman. It smelled… oddly of mushrooms, coal, and like some kind of animal. And it was coming from the nearby wall.
She approached the wall, and noticed a heavy stone, just off color from the rest of the wall, was wedged up against a hole in the wall. There was a little bit of wiggle room between the edge of the boulder and the rock wall, just enough for a small child or some kind of animal to crawl through.
It’s where the smell was coming from. Back here.
Beth looked over the boulder for a moment. It wasn’t too big. And it’s not like she had to dead lift it.
Bending deeply in the knees, Beth hooked her hands underneath the boulder, gripping the lean it already had. She took a deep breath in, straightened her back, and then stood cleanly up, hefting the rock away. The rock tilted away from the wall and hit the round with a loud crash.
She released her breath and checked her hands over. There were a few little scratches, but nothing that bled.
Now that the rock was gone, Beth could see that the boulder had been covering a tunnel. It was pretty small for someone her size. A human could comfortably walk through. Beth had to abandon her tools and had to get on her hands and knees to crawl through. Her backpack was shifted around to be sitting against her chest instead of her back.
The smell got stronger and stronger as she crawled through the tunnel, and then it widened out into a little room. There were a couple of lanterns burning on the walls, and some sturdy looking supports. There was a little mat, and a few boxes, and when she turned her head she saw a little creature staring at her with enormous eyes.
“Oasnut!” The creature screamed.
Beth yelped and sat back on her knees. She hadn’t expected to see some kind of… person there.
Most of their face was completely obscured with this massive helmet, and body obscured under a long red robe. Glowing golden eyes peered out at her, large and filled with sheer terror.
“Dousn! Fuxitut!” The creature tried to scramble up onto a little wooden table near a big chest. “Ia oyool!”
“It’s okay, it’s okay.” Beth cooed softly as the little creature plastered itself to the wall. She could see its tiny little white gloved hands shaking. The reek of fear had filled the place. “I’m not going to hurt you. I promise.”
“Fa'n uon mu.” It whimpered. Beth bit her lip. She needed some way to calm the little thing down.
Think, Beth! How do you calm someone down.
“Are you hungry?” Beth unzipped one of her outermost pockets and pulled out the second veggie sandwich she had made for herself. She set the rest of her things aside and extended the sandwich towards the little creature.
It blinked once, twice, three times, and then it carefully stepped down from the little wooden table. It took a single step towards her and then froze.
“Otu olai lael na uon mu?”
“It’s ok, little buddy. You can have it. I got another one for me.” She leaned forward and set the sandwich and its wrapper on the ground and then purposefully shifted back a little more, placing the sandwich out of her reach.
The little creature looked between her, the sandwich, and then quickly ran over, snatched it up, and then ran back to hide behind the chest. She heard the wrapper of the sandwich crinkle for a few moments, and then the little creature popped its head out from behind the chest.
Cautiously, it brought a piece of the sandwich to its mouth and ate it. Beth smiled, careful to hide her fangs. Its golden eyes softened a little bit and then it sat beside the chest, in full view of Beth, and ate the sandwich.
“See? I’m friendly.” Beth settled back and watched the little thing eat. She couldn’t help but wonder what the little guy was. How it got here. What it’s name was.
After the creature finished with the sandwich, it approached her, still stinking of fear. It extended a tiny gloved hand towards her and gestured for her to get closer. “E ntisn olai na an uon mu. Yainp olai nemu na diol samunhel?”
Beth ever so carefully approached the little creature, and it opened the chest up. Inside was a couple of bottles. One had a big red heart on the bottle, the other had some very pungent smell. There was also a handful of something that smelled strongly like gunpowder, and now that she was close to its little area, she could see a whole scarecrow in the back. It looked an awful lot like the little creature, except it was wearing a bright blue robe and bright green shoes.
“Oauol hat laaps.” The creature stated firmly.
“Well… I can’t understand you. But thank you for trusting me.” Beth backed away. “I’m going to go now. Sorry for disturbing you, little buddy.”
“Olai otu'n lael na diol oolnhel, otu olai?”
“Goodbye, little buddy.” Beth had to shift her things around once more to comfortably crawl out of the little tunnel and out into the main mine cave.
She looked at the rock and wondered if she should move it back… hopefully it’d be okay if she left it here. Maybe she would inform Marlon she saw the little thing when she went to show him she’d killed those slimes.
~
Beth left the mines, stinking of sweat, rock dust, and monsters by the time the sun was hitting the horizon. Her lack of dinner had been satisfied by a few rock crabs and large, flying bugs that had tried to bite her.
It hadn’t been very tasty, but it had felt very satisfying. The ache that ran through her body was deep, but it felt good. Ore, coal, and gemstones sat heavy in her backpack. Her bag was far overfilled, and her previous pair of workbooks were hanging to the strap by its shoelaces.
A new pair of sturdy leather boots, spiked and armored and in good condition, fit on Beth’s feet almost too well. They needed to be worn in, as any leather shoe did, but they were so high quality it felt almost like magic when she had found them all alone in a chest on the tenth floor of the mines. She hadn’t gotten too far, choosing instead to be very thorough in her exploration of the mines instead of focusing on going very deep. She had only gotten to the seventeenth level before she called it quits, out of energy, and out of snacks.
The roll of bandages was now applied to her forearm, from a rock crab that had managed a lucky swipe. It didn’t need stitches, not deep at all, but it ran most of the way down her forearm.
Strange geodes and a couple of old looking artifacts, a rusty gear and a rusty spoon, also were in her pack. She wanted to bring them to Gunther just in case they were valuable. Tomorrow she was going to bring the gemstones to Clint to see if there was someone he might know who could take them. Or if he would buy them, she would part with them.
The main bulk of her backpack’s volume was the stone she had collected. And in a wooden crate that she was carrying at her side, it was full of slime. When she had exploded the little squishy green blobs with a swing of her pickaxe or scythe, she scooped up the green, unmoving slime and plopped it into the crate she picked up. Should be good enough evidence for Marlon to let her in the guild.
As she began to make her way towards the Adventurer's guild, not far from the entrance to the mines, she saw Linus hunched over a berry bush. “Evening, Linus!” She called out.
“Good to see you made it out unscathed.” Linus smiled at her.
“Well. Mostly. Got a little scratch.” She gestured to her forearm. “Some crab looking monster wanted a piece of me.”
“Goodness. I’m glad you’re alright anyway.” He gave her a little wave before picking up his berry basket. “You have a good night, my dear.”
“You too.” She hefted the crate a little, settling it against her hip as she made her way over to the Adventurer's guild building.
It was a low building, settled into the mountain itself. Green siding gave way to a dark brown roof. Strange runes were scratched into the wooden beams that were littered across the walls. A lantern was flickering near the large, heavy door. It would fit her through, barely. Thick bars were over the human level window slot, and there was no window slot for someone her size. There was one big window over the door, and opposite of the lantern was a little sign with the same crest that had been stamped on the wax seal.
The sign read, ‘Adventurer's Guild. Open daily from 2pm to 10pm.’ Underneath the initial text read, ‘Members or emergency cases only.’
After a little hesitation, Beth knocked firmly on the door.
There was a shuffle, and then the window slot slid open. Marlon’s one eye peered through, and widened upon seeing Beth standing before the door.
“Can I help you, Beth?”
“Uh, yeah, I brought proof for my initiation.” Beth shifted the crate full of slime and held it close to the window slot.
“My! That was fast. Come in.” The little window slot closed, and then after a moment, the large door swung open. “I only sent the letter last night.”
“I was bored.” She shrugged and entered the warm little building.
It was… cozy inside. If you liked decorating with animal and monster parts and didn’t sweat as easily as Beth did. There was a little counter with a register like it was a shop, and a little shelving unit behind the counter that held many kinds of potions that had little labels. But there was also a crackling fireplace and a bear skin rug and weapon stands full of all kinds of weapons. An enormous, shimmering hammer and swords made of all kinds of materials and bows and slingshots and even a brutal looking club. Armor was on display. Pieces of newspaper articles were pinned to a wall, and framed photos of various people around. The horns of some strange creature were mounted on the wall.
“Gil, get up. Thomas’ granddaughter accepted our invitation.”
There was an even older man with a floppy wide brimmed hat asleep in a rocking chair near the fireplace. He had a bushy beard, and his legs were wrapped in a thick blanket.
Marlon sighed and approached the man in the rocking chair. “Gil.” He touched his arm.
The man jolted softly and then sat up, turning to face Beth.
“Thomas’ granddaughter, Beth. I mentioned that she was frequenting the mines.”
He nodded sagely, and spoke with a voice like gravel. “And she’s already finished her task?”
“Yep.” Marlon stood up and took the crate of slime goop out of Beth’s hands and set it on a table. “Are you ready to join the Adventuer’s Guild tonight?”
“Uh, I just had a couple of questions.” Beth rubbed her arm.
“Of course. What questions do you have?”
“What exactly kind of… responsibilities will come with me joining the guild?”
Marlon nodded softly. “A fair question.” He cleared his throat. “The main thing will be attending a meeting once a season, and a small monetary contribution every so often.”
“Money?”
“Not a large sum, mind you, unless you’re going to be frequently sleeping and eating here. You could volunteer labor or materials in lieu of a financial contribution since I know money is tight with you.”
Beth nodded softly. “Alright. I’m big. I can do some labor when I don’t have money.”
“Alright. Fair deal. We’re accommodating here, Beth.” Marlon nodded.
Gil spoke up. “It’s not like we can afford to let a potential member leave. We need the skills of someone like her. We aren’t getting younger, and somebody’s going to have to bury us.” He grunted.
Marlon sighed. “Gil please. Don’t scare the girl.” He looked up at her. “Do you want to join the Adventurer’s Guild?”
“Uh. Sure.” Beth shifted.
“Could you lower yourself onto your knees, Beth? I want to do the ceremony properly, please.”
“Oh. Okay.” She settled down onto her knees.
Marlon took a thin, ceremonial sword and held it between them. “Beth Catsden, you have proven yourself. You have ventured into the mines with utmost courage. We, of the Adventurer’s Guild, welcome you.”
He made a little hand motion and held the thin sword above one of Beth’s shoulders. “Do you swear under oath, to protect humanity from monsters, and to do everything in your power to uphold the traditions, values, and ideology of the Adventurer’s Guild?”
“I do.”
“On behalf of Stardew Valley and the Order of the Knights of Pythagoras, I officially accept you as the 23rd Adventurer’s Guild member!” He tapped it against one shoulder, and then the other. “Welcome to the guild, Beth.”
“Thank you.”
The sword was sheathed and he tried to help Beth to her feet, but she almost pulled him down to the ground instead. Both decided to not acknowledge it.
“So, anything cool I get now that I’m part of the guild?”
“Of course.” Marlon chuckled. “As a member of the Adventurer’s Guild, you will be allowed to purchase rare weapons we commission. There are also bounties and quests you can access from the notice board. Welcome to the guild, Beth. I expect great things from you.”
Gil chuckled. “It’s about time we had a new giant in the guild.”
The Start of an Empire - 1
Chapter 1: Beth the Warehouse Worker
Summary: Beth was at her wits end. A giant living in a world made for humans, stuck in a crappy warehouse job. At one of her lowest points, she finds her last letter from her Grandpa. And she finds that a new life will be waiting for her, in Pelican town. The little town in the middle of Stardew Valley.
Contains: Mentions of a family death, of big business, and the shit of modern life.
Wordcount: 2K
~~~
A loud buzzer sounded throughout the warehouse, and Beth lifted her head. On the far wall, underneath the massive mural depicting the Joja logo - it’s smug grin under the second j - and the text of ‘Smile. You’re with Joja’,  were two massive lights. The red ‘rest’ light dimmed and the green ‘work’ light flicked on.

how to find literally any post on a blog in seconds (on desktop)
there are so many posts about ~tumblr is so broken, you can’t find any post on your own blog, it’s impossible, bluhrblub~
I am here to tell you otherwise! it is in fact INCREDIBLY easy to find a post on a blog if you’re on desktop/browser and you know what you’re doing:
url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant. every single post, every single time. in chronological order starting with the most recent post. note: it will not find #croissants or that time you made the typo #croidnssants. for a tag with multiple words, it’s just /tagged/my-croissant and it will show you everything with the exact phrase #my croissant
url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant/chrono will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the exact phrase #croissant, but it will show them in reverse order with the oldest first
url.tumblr.com/search/croissant isn’t as perfect at finding everything, but it’s generally loads better than the search on mobile. it will find a good array of posts that have the word croissant in them somewhere. could be in the body of the post (op captioned it “look at my croissant”) or in the tags (#man I want a croissant). it won’t necessarily find EVERYTHING like /tagged/ does, but I find it’s still more reliable than search on mobile. you can sometimes even find posts by a specific user by searching their url. also, unlike whatever random assortment tumblr mobile pulls up, it will still show them in a more logically chronological order
url.tumblr.com/day/2020/11/05 will show you every post on the blog from november 5th, 2020, in case you’re taking a break from croissants to look for destiel election memes
url.tumblr.com/archive/ is search paradise. easily go to a particular month and see all posts as thumbnails! search by post type! search by tags but as thumbnails now
url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio will show you every audio post on your blog (you can also filter by other post types). sometimes a little imperfect if you’re looking for a video when the op embedded the video in a text post instead of posting as a video post, etc
url.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/croissant will show you EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant, but it will show you them in the archive thumbnail view divided by months. very useful if you’re looking for a specific picture of a croissant that was reblogged 6 months ago and want to be able to scan for it quickly
url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio/tagged/croissant will show you every audio post tagged with the specific phrase #croissant (you can also filter by photo or text instead, because I don’t know why you have audio posts tagged croissant)
the tag system on desktop tumblr is GENUINELY amazing for searching within a specific blog!
caveat: this assumes a person HAS a desktop theme (or “custom theme”) enabled. a “custom theme” is url.tumblr.com, as opposed to tumblr.com/url. I’ve heard you have to opt-into the former now, when it used to be the default, so not everyone HAS a custom theme where you can use all those neat url tricks.
Tumblr media
if the person doesn’t have a “custom theme” enabled, you’re beholden to the search bar. still, I’ve found the search bar on tumblr.com/url is WAY more reliable than search on mobile. for starters, it tends to bring posts up in a sensible order, instead of dredging up random posts from 2013 before anything else
if you’re on mobile, I’m sorry. godspeed and good luck finding anything. (my one tip is that if you’re able to click ON a tag rather than go through the search bar, you’ll have better luck. if your mutual has recently reblogged a post tagged #croissant, you can click #croissant and it’ll bring up everything tagged #croissant just like /tagged/croissant. but if there’s no readily available tag to click on, you have to rely on the mobile search bar and its weird bizarre whims)

Sebastian vore next
Here you go! Just for you!
Summary: Sebastian lets Beth spend the night after she’s had a hard time in the mines. (I wrote it with platonic intentions but eh. Feel free to interpret)
Contains: Strong language and safe soft vore.
Wordcount: 1.7K
---
It was really late when Beth finally stumbled out of the mines. She was tired and sweaty and hurt. The cold night air made her feel a bit better as she started towards home, keeping her awake with its biting sting against her hastily bandaged wound.
As she rounded the lake in the mountains, the smell of cigarette smoke made her nose crinkle. She checked her watch and cursed softly at the band of pale skin where her watch had been. The band of the watch had been damaged and she had ended up dropping it without noticing somewhere in the mines. Either way, it felt like it was way too late for Sebastian to be out smoking.
Walking around a bend, she spotted Sebastian standing near the edge of the lake in the dark night by the glow of his cigarette and the lighter he kept lighting and extinguishing.
Though, it seems he spotted her before she spotted him. The glow ring that Beth wore on her finger lit her up pretty well.
“Hey.” Sebastian took a long drag of his cigarette. “Did the mines kick your ass?”
“A little.” Beth gestured oddly to the bandages around her forearm. “I lost track of time down there and you know how it is… just one more floor, and then one more and well… then you run into a swarm of really aggressive bats.”
He snorted and flicked the cigarette out into the lake. “Well, it’s past midnight. Awfully late for you to hike all the way to your farm.”
Beth sighed softly. “Yeah, but I can’t sleep in the dirt.”
Sebastian glanced back at the house, only one window glowing with light, and then looked back to Beth. “You don’t have to walk all that way. You look pretty banged up. You want to crash at my place?”
She adjusted her bag on her shoulder. “I don’t want to intrude.”
“You aren’t gonna intrude. You’ll be in the basement with me. Nobody bothers to even come down there unless they need something from me. With any luck, nobody but me is even gonna know you’re there.”
Beth hesitated, looking up to see just how far the moon had already trailed across the sky and sighed softly. “If it’s not any trouble.”
“Nope. C’mon.” Sebastian gestured for her to follow him inside.
Beth still had to squeeze in through the door to the house, and for a moment she regretted saying that she would come along with Sebastian when he directed her towards the narrow basement staircase and hallway. She could fit without having to hunch or get down on her hands and knees but she had to take off all her gear and carry it down with her.
“Here, let me help.” Sebastian tried to lift the pickaxe she had set down for the moment, only to struggle to keep it held aloft. “Yoba, what is this thing made of?!”
“Iron.” Beth reached out to take it from him, but Sebastian just struggled it down the stairs for her. She sighed and followed him down into the basement.
Her bag and her equipment were piled in the bare corner of the room behind the Solarion Chronicles table he had set up. Beth turned to survey the room. Sebastian had a human sized, one-person bed in the corner of the room. There was that fairly plush looking couch against the wall near his computer desk but it was also made for humans. Neither option would fit Beth at all, and even be at risk of breaking under her weight.
It seemed that Sebastian was undergoing the same train of thought as he looked between Beth and the furniture of the room.
“Hmn.” He covered his mouth for a moment. “Well, as the lady, I’d offer you my bed and I’d sleep on the couch but, uh… well, I think between the two, the couch would be better. My Mom made it so it should probably not snap?”
“I’ll pay for a replacement if it does.” Beth hesitantly sat on the couch, and it held firm under her. It wouldn’t be very comfortable, but the thought of walking all the way back to her farm right now made her want to cry. So. She would be staying here on this too-small couch for now.
With how tired she was, the too-small couch wasn’t a bad way to spend the night.
Beth closed her eyes and let her head rest back on the wall. She could hear Sebastian shuffling around his room for a bit. Fabric rustling. Footsteps. The creak of his mattress. Then more footsteps.
She opened one eye and found Sebastian in his white undershirt and sweatpants, staring at Beth from the middle of the room. He noticed her open eye and immediately looked away.
“You need something?”
“Your, uh, glowy thing. It’s too bright.”
Beth glanced down at the glow ring on her finger and blinked. There was, in fact, a large glowing ring around her body and it lit up the basement even though the overhead light was definitely off. She took it off and put it in her pocket. The glowing light extinguished instantly, plunging them both into darkness.
There was a moment of stumbling around, and then a soft lamp light clicked on.
“Thanks.” Sebastian cleared his throat and approached the couch. After a little hesitation he sat down on the couch next to her. “Is this okay?”
“I literally cannot lay on my back on this couch.” Beth shrugged her shoulders. “I’ve fallen asleep sitting up before. It’s, uh, like, the polite thing to do when you’ve swallowed someone to fall asleep upright. Makes them more comfortable in there.”
He tilted his head slightly. “What’s it like?”
“What’s what like?”
Sebastian gestured to her stomach. “Being in there. What’s it like?”
Beth shrugged. “Warm and dark?”
He reached out, hesitated, and then leaned in a bit. “Can I see?”
She blinked. “You want… in my stomach?”
“If it’s not any trouble.” Sebastian rubbed the back of his neck. “I’m just curious. Abby and Sam have both raved about what it’s like in your stomach. Any time we all hang out they always want to talk to you and I just… they’re not exactly good at describing stuff, you know? If I could just see it firsthand… ah, nevermind it’s weird.” He stood up.
“Hey.” Beth grabbed his arm and pulled him back on the couch. “I can show you. It’s not weird. You are not the first, nor will be the last, who wants to be in my stomach.”
Sebastian gave her a nervous grin. “Really?”
“Yeah.” Beth  stood up. “Gimme a minute to get ready.”
After she took some digestion inhibitors and chewed a couple of breath mints, Beth was ready to swallow Sebastian. He was excitedly tapping on his leg as she walked back over to the couch.
“So, how do you do it? Like. What way do I go down?”
Beth shrugged. “Whichever way you like. Head first or feet first, or like.. Hands.”
“Hands?”
Beth pointed at his hands. “Hands go over your head, and I kinda just… tip you down into my gullet. It’s head first but with a couple extra steps.”
“Sounds cool.” Sebastian held his hands out to Beth. “It’s gonna be safe if you fall asleep with me in there, right?”
“Mhm. I just took enough digestion inhibitors to last well into the morning.” Beth gently gripped Sebastian’s much smaller hands in her own. “Ready?”
“Yeah.”
Gently, Beth raised his hands up and placed them on her tongue. A sweet and salty, delicious, meaty taste spread across her tongue. It made her hungry. She began to ease more of Sebastian’s arms into her mouth, and swallowed a little when she felt his hands getting very close to her throat.
With a pause before her airways were blocked, she looked at Sebastian to make sure he was still fine. He had a goofy looking grin on his face and a dusting of a blush over his pale cheeks. When he caught her staring he sobered up his look, but the redness intensified. “I, uh, have a healthy respect for your fangs. Just wanted to make sure you weren’t gonna bite down.”
Beth snorted softly and then widened her jaw more to ease his head, ducked down between his biceps, into her mouth. She had to lean down and take a deep swallow, feeling his hands caught in her throat. Now that he couldn’t comfortably sit beside her, since his arms and head was in her mouth, she had to grip his waist in her large hands. He squirmed a little, and she heard a soft gasp from where he was in her mouth.
Without much effort, Beth lifted Sebastian off the couch and raised him up. Straightening him up to make the trip down much easier.
One good swallow, and she couldn’t breathe. His arms were stretching her throat enough it was cutting off her airways. She couldn’t be slow about this, or she was risking both of their safety.
Another good swallow and he was up to his hips in her mouth. His legs kicked a little bit, and Beth gently grabbed at his calves to stop him from twisting around too much. She tilted her head fully back, letting his weight assist in dragging him into her gullet. She closed her eyes and began to rapidly swallow.
In just a few seconds, his feet vanished behind her lips and Beth could finally breathe. His weight pooled heavily in her lap and Beth had to quickly remove her belt and unbutton her pants to make room for her stomach.
For just a moment she took deep breaths and rested a hand on her stomach, feeling Sebastian squirm around to get upright and comfortable.
“You good?” Her voice felt oddly thick in her throat.
“Yeah!” He pushed his hands into her stomach walls and Beth pushed back.
“Easy. My gut’s pretty sensitive.”
He stopped pushing immediately. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” Beth stretched and leaned back heavily on the couch. “Mn, night, Sebastian.”
“What? You’re going to sleep already?” Beth responded with a yawn. “You underestimate how freaking exhausted I am.”
