FINISHED THIS WHILE BEING SICK IT WAS HELL! Anyways, here’s a doodle page of one of Doey’s friends in Safe Haven. The Bobby Bearhug that died, who I found out was named Izzy. She apparently had a scrapped side mission where you were supposed to make her a b-day cake. I felt urges to draw her with Matt, Kevin, and Jack for about a month and I procrastinated like a mf. The 6 I wrote is just the age headcanon I came up for her despite having barely any info of her.😭😭😭

And this made me realize I cant do backgrounds for shit and sorry if the doodles look blurry…I had to resize em a bit for the doodle page. Also I was testing to see if I should make the darker blue on Matt, Kevin, and Jack’s outfits the same color as the hat. Dont know if I like it or not.💀

Thinking about Doey's struggle to trust Poppy. How he trusted Poppy before she disappeared. How he WANTED to trust her again and tried talking her out of blowing everyone up - and her dismissing it as 'there is no other option' but that's another topic.

And when 'Ollie' called the The Prototype was outside, how he didn't wanna leave Safe Haven, he wanted to stay - he knew everyone was vulnerable while the generator's down and barely - just barely - was able to trust Poppy and the player to fix it. Don't even get me started how Poppy took his hand as she told him to trust her and him clenching his other fist.

After finally giving her that trust, something he has STRUGGLED with, it's all annihilated.

Is it any wonder why he crashed out as hard as he did. He trusted Poppy once before - him and the others were abandoned as a result. When he finally trusted her again - even if it wasn't directly Poppy's fault - it cost him everyone's lives. From Doey's perspective, he could be thinking had he STAYED and had he remained guarded, he could've done something - ANYTHING - to save SOMEONE.

But he didn't. Because he trusted Poppy. And it cost him.
