we have just posted our first activity check!

don’t worry, it won’t require anything major. we just ask that you post in it to let us know what characters you would like to keep, if any, and that you have made a post on that account any time within the last seven days (as of the day you post in the check). and it doesn’t have to be an in character post! it can be anything—a comment in a forum game, a shipper reply or post in someone else’s page, a real thread, a comm. anything! just link us to said posts and we’ll put you on our to be saved list. we also understand if you just don’t have the time, energy, or muse to stay on the site. we do invite you to reinvent your characters, if you like, but if you would rather back out, that’s totally fine. you can either post here to let us know who you would like us to archive, or let the activity check run out. anyone not on the to be saved list will automatically be sorted into a “past members” group, and their posts will be moved to the archives. and, of course, you are always welcome to come back in the future. :) the activity check will end at MIDNIGHT at the end of SUNDAY, JUNE 21ST. (at the end of the day, aka after 11:59pm, not the beginning. just like face claim reserves!)

good afternoon, we are now at a place where we can release the application code! it is a shipper app style, so that means your application will also double as your shipper page! we’ve included screenshots of the app (click to enlarge the picture!) for you to get an idea of what it will look like, and if you have any questions please let us know! we’re more than happy to discuss it.

app includes a 440x300 image, and a 130x240 image of your fc!

also includes 1 spot for a square gif (130x130, but any square gif can resize)

includes three tabs (one for the header/one for general info/one for shipper)

there isn’t, actually! the closest is a small one in a town about 15 miles away.

as we gear up for the site’s grand opening, we thought it was high time to give you guys a glimpse at some of faulkner’s current local job opportunities! these certainly aren’t the only places to work in faulkner, but they’re some of the main places of businesses still managing to keep their doors open.

there’s a cozy old book shop turned coffee house

a bakery

an old time soda shop attached to the pharmacy

speaking of which, we could use a town doctor!

daisy’s diner

a local bar & grill

town hall

the sheriff’s office

a local small dance/ballet school

a garage & body shop

a beauty salon

the general/hardware store

a local market (which also serves as the florist)

the antiques store

a record store!

of course, the local baptist church

faulkner high school

and someone to maintain the local cemetery

only daisy’s diner currently has an owner, and we will have a job claim on the actual site, so keep that in mind as you continue to develop your characters! xoxo
