As an author, do you think authors should always put a piece of themselves into what they write? Like their experiences, personality traits or sense of humor? Or do you think it would make more sense to try and create something new entirely, without anything taken from your own personal experiences?

You are literally making what you write out of your experiences and your personality and your imagination. I don't know how you could do it the other way. Everything is always going to be you.

If anyone wants to see some good vibes today-

In 5th grade there was this boy that always wanted to paint his nails, but his father never let him. I found out he was moving at the end of the school year, so I made him a small box full of goodies. One of them being a dark blue nail polish.

He started painting his nails after finding it and he did so good. He didn't want to do his other hand while his nails were drying, so he let his friend paint them, but he got in trouble because his friend didn't know how to paint nails and got the polish everywhere.

He also painted another of his friends nails, and they looks so good omg I miss him. 😭😭
