I recently watched a documentary about the story that Moby Dick was based off of. I think I could properly BS something if I needed to.

There is so much more cannibalism in the world than many of us like to admit. I haven’t ever been in contact with the practice however I have heard that it is a prominent practice in many tribal cultures. Though I’m not certain if most of these have been wiped out or not.

Today

I’m kinda running out of things to do on my computer. Let me explain. I am at my dad’s house (crossing fingers that tomorrow goes ok) and I started doing my research for the dependent child care act. It gave me such a headache that I just can’t continue today. I’ll have to do it tomorrow or even Monday because it’s a government holiday and it only seems fitting that I research government things on a government holiday. Sometime during that time I decided to put on some 80′s music and so I’m still listening to that playlist as I write this. So since I decided that I was going to abandon researching the dependent child care thingy I decided that I was going to email my English teacher with some questions about an essay or possibly two we are having to do soon. I finished with that quickly. Then I decided that i was going to work on the stuff that my college counselor assigned me and check it out.  This was one of the things that she had me look at. http://econsummit.org/how-to-do-the-summit/ It looks like some fun and I could do it without going to the actual place of it I think? Anyways I finished this fairly quickly and then I decided to do my other homework from my college counselor. I opened all the tabs but my brain refused to process it so now I’m looking for other things to do on my computer because I really want to keep listening to my playlist and staring at the screen. I say this because at my dad’s house if you aren’t doing homework then you get roped into going on walks and doing activities and going to target or shopping or what have you. I have several problems with this. I have no problem with walking. In fact I actually prefer it to running but they always take the same route through the same neighborhood past the same plants and then we always go home. I have no problem say if we were walking to the hardware store or the grocery store. I just feel like a gold fish or something swimming in the same stagnant water. This is why I quit swim team. A lot of that was that I had no competitive drive to compete at the time and this was practically required to advance on this swim team. Anyways back to the walking. I hate doing monotonous exercise like this. Say if I was walking or even biking across country or something where I was seeing something new every day then it would be nice and I would like it. Then there’s the whole thing of activities. I normally escape these because they don’t go on very often. I just am not a fan of activities. Then there’s the whole shopping thing. I’m not a fan of shopping in general so this outing is especially annoying to me. It’s also almost always at target. I don’t understand the appeal of target. Yes I understand that is a store that has a lot of stuff in it that is fun to buy but still my sister and my step mom always seem to be going. I mean seriously how much tome can one really spend in a target. A lot apparently. Then on the non target shopping things it’s always my stepmom going to 5 different stores at the shopping mall for a few hours and only coming out of it with a singular item. It makes me kinda mad and also confused. Mad because it’s a pointless waste of time and because she really shouldn’t be buying new clothes in general. She has to sell old things of hers on occasion so that she has money to buy more stuff. Just stay with the stuff you have and not buy new tings. Confused because what does she do in those stores for those hours that she only comes out with a pair of boots or a shirt or something. I also have a problem because I don’t think that I should be forced to do these things. For me anyways it’s mostly the walk things but for my sister it could be any of the above although she has less homework than I do and therefore is more available to be roped into the 5 hour target runs or the 5 hour shopping runs. My homework is my shield. I am writing this really long post because like I said I don’t want to get off of my computer yet and if I’m typing on the keys then they think that I am doing homework. It;s great I love this :) Some time anyway other times I just want to kill the charade with no consequences like going on walks.

I typically consider myself a moderate (I’m actually the senate president in my teacher’s version of government where each class has a different role so basically I moderate and keep everyone from killing each other) whos main problem with the president is his attitude but I must admit that this does not make me happy

My Second Family

I am currently with my father and step mother and step sister. I don’t really like being here. I like my father and I relatively like my step sister. It definitely could be a better relationship between us two but it definitely is not fighting or anything. Then there is the step mother. I don’t know what it is about her but she just irritates the heck out of me. She wants my respect but has done nothing to earn it claiming that she deserves it because she is my elder. I’m just like heck no! You are a weakling that can’t lift a pitcher of water or  similarly sized object, you eat things you are allergic to and then complain and bellyache when the allergic reaction starts to kick in she wants sympathy but she’s the one who puts herself in the situations and then she expects sympathy it makes me so mad, and then there’s the fact that she has no professional life. She’s stuck in a dead end job and the only accomplishments she has to brag about are her bosses and the accomplishments of the people who she has worked for. I know I’m being really mean but she just makes me so mad and rubs me the wrong way. These reasons are why I cannot respect her. She tells me that because she is my stepmother then she automatically gets my respect but whenever there is any decision concerning me she always tells me to ask my father. Basically she wants the respect that comes along with the title as step mother but she isn’t willing to take on any of the responsibility. She tells me that she doesn’t want to replace my mother and I’m just like..... my mother is a force of nature and a hella awesome human being who I’ve adored and respected my entire life. Everyone is secretly intimidated by her. This is a hella weak excuse.

Friday

I had a bad day on friday.... I took to long on an test so my teacher started berating me and I had really difficult and panic inducing time on the test so I started crying and I random answered the last few questions and then bolted out of there to find a nice corner to cry in when it promptly rained on me but since I was in a terrible mood I just stayed there and didn’t do anything about it and I was damp for the rest of the day.

Senate President

Everyone in my APUSH class was absent except for me and two other people because of the AP Lang exam and so our teacher decided that he would introduce our pseudo government today. Our period was the senate and the other periods are the other branches. I don’t really remember what the other branches were designated as. The teacher decided that today was the best time to pick leaders with everyone out so he choose leaders. I ended up as the Senate President because I’m always in the class first. Apparently I don’t do a whole lot I just make sure both sides don’t murder each other. The other two people got elected senate majority leader and senate minority leader. Really sucks to be those people in exam room. They have to take an exam and they will have no idea what is going on when Friday comes around.

I love my mom and I can’t thank her enough for asking me this every night it’s just we never really work well together in a professional setting especially when both of us are frustrated and let’s face it she most likely hasn’t seen most of this stuff since she was in high school or college so its probably going to just start with us both having no ides what we are doing and devolve into a bout of fighting or something where we’ll both have hurt pride and feelings. 

I really do love my mom we get along so well in almost any other situation.
